I wish they had a few healthy choices on the menu (chili has 500 calories there--not healthy). It was a tiny amount of chicken. (I guess that shows just how much breading they usually add.) I've been to a lot of hooters all over the world ( Seoul hooters) so I know a good one when I come across one. This one in columbus is a good one. The staff was nice, the food was good. It's a small restaurant so it seems kinda cramped , but other than that I enjoyed it. I will come back here and I'll review it again if this was just a one time thing, but so far it's a good hooters. They were very good and my server was okay, she threw a check onto the table behind us. According to the manager who declined to comment, She threw a tantrum and was crying. I was able to get a statement from the person sitting behind me, they said "What the F&$@" Coincidentally there was a shift change the exact time this incident occurred. Our next server was nice and had great service. She sold my brother a calendar so he can keep up with his doctor's appointments and such. It makes me so sad to only give two stars! I've always been a fan of this place, always the one to recommend it when figuring out where to eat. However the last few times have been so disappointing. I tried to give them 3 try's but I dunno about anymore. The last time was on a Thursday and it was only 9:00 pm. Only a few people in the restaurant so they were not busy at all. We sat there a good 10 minutes before anyone stopped and got our drinks. The food finally came out and it was horrible. To be honest I don't understand how anyone working in the food industry could look at the fries they brought out and think they were eatable. They were brown/black and cold (the waitress seemed to busy talking to each other and trying to close the drink stations down) so I'm sure the food sat out. The chicken sandwich sliders I got were absolutely horrible. I could not eat them because the taste was just so off. They were bitter and tasted burnt, like the oil had not been changed in forever. The plate was hardly touched when she came by to bring the check she didn't bother to ask if something was wrong with it. The chicken strips were really chewy too. It didn't taste like chicken at alThe only reason we didn't return it was because we had already been waiting there an hour and was just ready to go. Hopefully this location is just going through a rough patch and will get back to the quality and service I loved. I had a horrible experience at the Hooter's in Warner Robins, GA. They were 'extending' the wing sauce by adding recycled grease from the fryer. I don't know if the first Hooter's where I had wings was an exception - it must have been - because not one of their other places measured up. I expect the Hooters on Adams Farm Road are also cutting corners because the wings are undercooked and terrible - slimy. I just get out of these places and avoid a scene when it's so bad. I'm sure you're wondering why I'm writing a review for Hooters. Well, to put it simply, Columbus, GA has very little to offer food-wise. If you're "lucky" enough to discover the consumerist hell-hole known as Columbus Park Crossing, then you're doomed to dine at Olive Garden, Chili's, etc. and eventually, for variety's sake, Hooters! I won't spend too much time on the food. Suffice it to say that the chicken quesadilla is a safe choice. It's on the appetizer list but it's a full serving so it definitely doubles as an entree. The fries come with some sort of dipping sauce on the side, which is apparently quite good. The waitresses here are pretty incompetent to say the least. Our waitress seemed to have completely forgotten that we even existed. The two times that I managed to flag her down, she seemed to acknowledge me with her eyes, but apparently not her brain. At least they were happy to oblige when we requested to set three different TVs to the same college football game. read more

I haven't been to any Hooters in a while and have never been to the Columbus location. Me and few Army buddies decided that it was Friday and we needed some wings. Overall the food was good and the service was pretty decent. Our waitress was nice and cordial and not bad on the eyes and she was prompt with food and sweet tea (we were in uniform :-( so no beer). I ordered my wings naked and extra crispy with spicy garlic sauce. They came just as I ordered so I was happy. My other two buddies were happy with their food as well. The waitresses were on some sort of scavenger hunt and I became quite popular because I had a library card in my wallet which was on of the things they needed and apparently the library is not popular amongst the Hooters faithful...go figure. So tonight we tried again and once again our order was completely wrong, I tried to contact Waitr because that is what I ordered my food from, however no response there so then I called directly to the restaurant and they took my information down to order for next time! I'm beyond furious! If I owned or was a manager my goal would be to satisfy anyone ASAP who spent money at my restaurant immediately! My name and phone number only was taken down to provide for my NEXT order! If I was so stupid to do so! I have eaten at many of restaurants and chains etc and I will not be fooled into a 3rd purchase! Hoosters cannot get it right and always a mistake! I have also eaten indoors and the service is trash! The waitresses only attend to the men who they assume they will get a tip from however good service I am always tipping 20% or more! I went there on a Friday night with bunch of friends. We had this new hooters girl as my waitress (unfortunately I can't remember her real name. something Japanese) and I gotta say, one of the best looking hooters girl I've seen in a long time. Most of other girls were average looking if not below and not very fit. My god... the table next to us was very jealous. My fries came like 10 minutes after my burger but frankly I didn't mind a bit. She was very sweet and funny. We all had blast. But like I was saying most girls there are "Okay" looking. So it's hit or miss. We visited again for lunch few days after and on saturday night hoping to get our new fav waitress but she wasn;t working both times. and we were harrassed by our waitress to buy stupid shot glasses and toys. The service was severely subpar - Kayla was our server and seemed disinterested in giving great service. She had to be reminded about water with lemons. When a mixed drink was ordered and was watered down with juice she had the most disgusted and annoyed face and even had the nerve to cut her eyes when we were explaining why the drink tasted like a lemonade versus the tropical long island ice tea which she told us was the same version of the original long island but with a twist. The Hooters in Columbus is the worst I've visited in the nation. Compared to other Hooters restaurants nation-wide and similar restaurants in the area (Buffalo Wild Wings, Smokey Bones, Cannon Brew Pub); the service is terrible, the food is worse, and the ambiance is stuffy. The few times I've visited, the servers are conceded, rude, and act as if they're doing me a favor. The food is sub-standard and does not reflect the quality Hooters markets toward. Overall, this Hooters misses the mark. If seeing attractive women is the only reason one would visit a restaurant, they can visit Buffalo Wild Wings and get great food at the same time for the same price.
