We visited Buffalo Wild Wings around 11:50 PM on the Fourth of July. The restaurant wasn't very busy--only about four tables were filled--yet we stood at the front for about four minutes with no acknowledgment. Eventually, my fiancé had to go find someone just to get us seated. The food came out quickly, which was great. I ordered six Thai wings with celery, ranch, and carrots. However, when the food arrived, the carrots already had ranch on them--as if someone had either dipped them or tried to wipe it off. My fiancé asked a nearby server if she knew why, and she just shrugged her shoulders. We asked if the carrots had been served to someone else, and again, she just shrugged. That same server returned with a new tray of carrots but didn't say a word--just dropped them off and wouldn't even approach our table fully. It felt odd and uncomfortable. When our actual waitress came by, my fiancé mentioned how rude the other server had been. I also pointed out the issue with the carrots. The waitress assured us that no one else had been served those, but explained that the back prep area usually has carrots, celery, ranch, and blue cheese all out together, and "my food must have gotten a little dirty." That comment really caught me off guard. I asked my fiancé if he heard what she said. She quickly tried to clarify that she didn't mean it that way--but the damage was already done. To be fair, our waitress did give us a discount, which I appreciated. But between the poor attitude, lack of basic service, and questionable food handling, this was a disappointing experience. Even the staff looks depressed to work, but have no other choice bc they need the job. Their hiring staff and sign are even amid of depression and sadness. When you usually walk into one of these it's lively, loud with its customers, and just overall enthusiasm are always uplifting. Open and empty tables, being told to wait 30-45 minutes to be seated bc the staff would be overwhelmed, awkward stares from the stewards bc they can't sit you at an empty seat and continually saying I'm sorry. It might just be me and we caught them on a slow day, but I've come back to this establishment bc of their food and prices, and will continue but if your hoping for a good time...find another place or if you want a quiet scenery with not a lot of noise this is the place for you; this is the place.
