Well me and my son always kinda have a father/son nite out at times and where do we go but Hooters we have been to this one now at least twice both times same waitress "Misty" both times her service was amazing we always order fried pickels and I get a corona and him a soda never had a hard time getting our food or drinks she was always on top of!! So here's the thing. If the waitresses and the kitchen staff are going to bitch at each other they should realize that doing it in full view and hearing range of the entire restaurant is stupid. Specifically speaking, short stocky guy with big, fat, fake diamond earrings in the kitchen, glaring at the waitress, sneering at everything she says, and muttering "motherfucker this" and "motherfucker that" - you look like a child. You take all of this stupid drama personally. Do that behind closed doors, do it at home, take it up with the manager, but not to the one there today because he just laughed it all off. To the waitress arguing back - good for you for standing up for yourself, but at the same time, drop it. Take it up with your manager, but not the one who was there today because he just looked away and laughed all of it off. I'm not sure if the tension between kitchen staff and waitresses is normal or is new. I'm not sure if one side caused the drama, it shouldn't matter. It's uncomfortable to witness, and it's embarrassing for them. To the manager there today - you are a poor leader. You literally laughed off continuous poor and unprofessional behavior among multiple employees. This happened the entire hour or so that we were there. You're a poor example for your employees. So the food. I ordered fried shrimp w/o sauce, fries, and a side of cocktail sauce. My husband got an order of wings with a side salad. We started with fried pickles. I got a soda, my husband got an iced tea. In total we were charged $49.22. Our food was good. The shrimp was actually really good. The longest part of our visit was waiting for the check. We're talking ten minutes after we asked for it. Our waitress, Christina, was really sweet and accommodating. She checked on us several times and apologized for the wait. She was great. Not to worry about he wait though. It allowed us plenty of time to see more of the employee drama and watch one of the other waitresses play on Snapchat at the bar. Maybe I'm traditional in the sense that I feel there is a certain decorum that business employees should display around customers, even casual places like Hooters. Will we be back? Ha! Hell no. Judging by your rating y'all probably won't be open for much longer. If the behavior of your employees is allowed to deteriorate I'd half expect food to start flying. Grow up. read more

High priced food and horrible service. The wings were cold. Our waitress, her name started with a D, served our food after waiting 30 minutes to recieve it, and literally asked us to let her know if the food is cold. If you knew the food was going to be cold why didn't you talk to the cooks? It is common for the food to be cold when you serve it? That's horrible. We didn't even bother. We ate our cold mediocre wings, paid a hefty amount of cash and left. Never coming back. I do not recommend going here at all. Again, the service was horrible. We went to the Hooters in Gulfport. We were told to sit anywhere we want so we picked a table near the kitchen. 3 of the waitress were standing by the kitchen flirting with the cook. There were others standing around doing nothing. 10 minutes went by and no one acknowledged us not even the manager who passed used 3 times. We got up and walked out. To say it was bad is a compliment. The oysters were BAD as in food poisoning bad. The Nachos were void of beef and the wings were so small I believe they are called "drumets" or "parts" in the food industry. The wings barely had any sauce on them and they tasted like they were sitting around for hours before I got them. This was my first visit to the Hooters here in Gulfport and I came away impressed. First, service was good. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and did a very good job. Second, food was very good. Had a mushroom/swiss burger that was perfectly cooked and came with a generous portion of curly fries. Had lunch there this past Thursday. Food and service were excellent! I had the smothered chicken sandwich and my friend had the chicken garden salad. I stopped in friday evening to watch a game, I was gonna sit at the bar but after seeing where the tv's were (Straight up), I took a table. After sitting a while I finally got a waitress to order some food. After waiting more I flagged her down to ask where my appetizer was. I ran a marathon sunday and was ravenous! I ordered Hot wings. They were not hot but some kind of honey. I told the waitress they were wrong, and the manager came out and wanted to know what I wanted to do about it... umm I just ran almost 27 miles, I want to eat! So I ordered the 3 mile island and it didnt even taste right- it tasted like chili powder and cumin, like they made up the recipe. We eat at hooters in different states all the time. Ordered Big Fish , ad lettuce and tomatoes, none on it. Her response was it doesn't come with that. I said, I ORDERED it to be added. Missing Buffalo shrimp ordered 24 and they only had 12 in the bag. After 10 minutes waiting the MANAGER had to go in the kitchen and cook them,, Ordered a POUND of Snow Crab legs, paid $19.95 for that pound, looked in the box and 2 little racks of legs. Ask the barmaid , you are calling this a POUND of crab legs?her response was oh yeah that is a POUND.. Didn't look like it to me, but after waiting 20 minutes for them to cook more shrimp, all our food was cold before I even left the store.. Got home and decide to WEIGH the Crab legs because it just didn't look right.. And I was right, 1/2 LB AND cold. Took a picture of them on my kitchen scale.. We will not be going back their again. Royalty is no better treated than I and my friend. Our glasses are never emptied without a full replacement. When other customers see our food and the servings, they often ask if they can have what we are having, or who it is that we know to receive such excellent service. Everyone that I see gets the same service, prompt and with a smile. The ladies are very attractive and keep an old man,s heart in rhythm. Oh goodness, where to even begin?? We walked in and there were probably ten to fifteen girls standing at the door. None of them greeted us, and instead, just stood around there gossiping and laughing very loudly. Finally, some other girl told us to have a seat anywhere. She was actually really nice. We ordered our appetizer, fried pickles. We got them, and they were undercooked. I got boneless wings, I've had these same wings before and loved them. When my wings arrived to the table, they looked like tiny little curled up turds. Yeah. They were burnt and had NO SAUCE on them anywhere. They were barely edible from now hard they were. So I asked for extra sauce, the sauce she brought me looked curded. Like rotten milk, but orange. I tried mixing it and got nothing. I tasted the sauce and it tasted like absolutely nothing. Not to mention the female workers have quite the language. The "f" bomb was continuously being dropped by one of the worker girls across the room from us. She was so loud that we heard every word all the way from the other side! I'm military and am not easily offended by crude language, but in a public place like this?! I had my little sister with me, granted this isn't all that of an appropriate restaurant since there's half naked girls walking around. But we wanted some wings! We stopped here for lunch Saturday and it was the second time we'd been here. It was clean and fairly busy. Ordered the cheeseburger with grilled onions and guacamole. Food didn't take long at all! The first time we came it took over 45 minutes. Had it not been for our waitress bringing us some celery with ranch we would have left. This time was different. Same waitress though. Aryn I think is how you spell her name. Anyway the burgers and fries were hot, made correctly and really good as far as chain restaurant food goes. Aryn was friendly and checked on us but didn't hover over our table which I prefer. I don't see why this place only has 2 stars. First-never do a pick up order during a Saints game. I had to wait till three parties were seated to be told to go to the bar to pick up my order. Then I was ignored for quite some time only to find my order wasn't placed yet. That's all fine and small but after ordering a cobb salad and wings I was on my way.
