This place is alright. I ended up using my points to pay. Is it overpriced you get as the double bacon steak burger with fries is $15 dollars. I wanted everything on it, but they missed the lettuce as I requested for it. The burger was loaded with mayo, ketchup and mustard and burger was alright. The service was alright however and it took awhile for the burger to be ready. This place was okay and the only positive is it was opened 24/7 and I was indecisive of where to eat. read more

I been working at steak and shake for 2 years and they hired a new gm adleast a week ! I'm off wed and thur I walk in he tell me im fire today on a Friday ????????? no explanation no reason my services just not good for them ! Wrongful termination is what they did to me cause they can cause I'm a black girl and I don't fix in . Bad food maggots be on the burgers ewww and the place if always nasty it's bugs flying around! I mean really after 2 years of working with yall nasty ass cleaning up everything working my butt off for yall please ! This company is a rip off they make thoses prices and people pay for it lmao better jobs and better food that don't have bugs on it . read more

went in there the other day and it was a really great experience. the food was great, just wish it wasn't so expensive. but the reason I will keep going back to steak and shake is because of the top shelf service I received from Carrie Ladner. I felt like I was seeing an old friend and had the comfortable feeling of eating at their house. every restaurant needs employees like her. the overall experience was great but mostly because of her. read more

This is a restaurant to visit even if you don't gamble. Easy parking in the ramp garage and Steak and Shake is about 100 feet from the garage doors of the casino. Tracy was a fabulous hostess and representative of this property! She made us feel like valued customers. She was very pleasant and didn't mind changing our order!! The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and Tracy gave us wonderful service! Will definitely go there again before we leave for our trip back North! read more

Ooooo Steak 'n Shake is so good! I ordered multiple times around 2-5am after having a long night in the casino, and the onion rings were cooked to perfection, and so was the chicken tenders and fries! The butter burger was really good my partner loved it. And the people working work really hard and cook with love. I definitely recommend trying this place, or ordering for a late night eats. This spot in Harrah's food court was the best in my experience! read more

This was my introduction to Steak 'n Shake and I would like to try another location. I visited the Harrah's Casino hotel, so this was a great option to avoid the winter storm. On every visit, the staff was very friendly and my order accurate. The price is double what's shown online, but still do able. The food itself prepared well, but I may have a hamburger bias. My visits were done random times of the day, but they always had a line. My 3 stars definitely go towards acknowledging and appreciating the employees. It would help if they had a pickup option, that way you can pay and hold the wait times. The eating areas were well kept, even though they were busy. I ordered to-go and the food was done in a timely manner. I think maybe 1 extra employee could help, especially during the random burst of customers. They have lots of burger variations on the menu, hopefully I can try them at a different location. read more

Eight AM on a Tuesday morning at Steak 'n Shake located in Harrah's Gulf Coast and out of sour dough bread and creamer for coffee. Not doing a booming business, no one was waiting in line, so someone is not doing the job of ordering basic items needed for breakfast. My hash brown was packed in the bag so that it fell out of the paper wrapper and soaked the bottom of the bag in grease. Found out when I got back to my hotel room no ketchup was included for the hash brown potatoes. Also missing: salt and pepper packets for both breakfast orders. Unsatisfactory. read more

How do I spend my winnings from the penny slot machines? A couple of milkshakes from Steak 'n Shakes! Besides, it was right next to the machines! They have a few tables out next to the machines behind a railing and a few more inside the restaurant. The places was quite clean. The staff was very friendly and maintained positive attitudes as a crowd showed up behind me and wanted many shakes as well! They made the shakes quickly and had us on our way. The shakes were perfect in consistency and flavor! They were somewhat expensive, but to be expected inside Harrah's casino. read more

Anyone that knows me knows that i LOVE a good burger. Strolled in here to get a late night bite since this location is open 24 hrs. I ordered a single burger n fries bc i thought the double meat would be too large...first mistake. The burger was fine but the single patty was pretty thin. I liked the thin cut fries..wished they had been hotter. My coke came out in a glass with lipstick on it..eww. the server was apologetic n replaced my drink in a plastic cup instead. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu offers several different burgers and other non-burger options. Decor was sort of a throwback diner theme. I have wanted so badly to rate this higher, bc I love the food.. but I have been here 6 times now and every time I come here the staff is unbelievably rude. I do t think I've had more rude staff at a restaurant before; something g seriously needs to be done about it. My account was debited twice, and they insisted it wasn't even after I showed them the debits from my account. After, as they were preparing my order, they proceeded to speak badly about me saying very inappropriate things, as if I INCONVENIENCED THEM, by my account being double charged. I am very disappointed bc this is the only Steak 'n Shake around and, like I said... I have it several chances.. benefit of the doubt.. as if maybe I just had one or two bad employee the first few times.. but unfortunately that's not the case. So I am finally writing my review. The staff here is disgusting rude, I wouldn't put it past them to have done something to my food.. as I stand here writing this I can still hear them talking about me... I am not one to " go to corporate, bc I never know if it'll make a difference anyway... but I'm tempted to. I'm disgusted. I only got one name, and that was Leona Tate... but she was not the only one who was being absolutely unnecessarily nasty and rude to me for absolutely no reason, other than the fact that I asked her name, if my account wasn't fixed in the morning like she guaranteed it would be. The young lady working the counter on Saturday 3/18/2023 is a rock star. She is handling the entire front of house (taking orders, making drinks, making milk shakes, delivering food, cleaning tables) all by herself. And she's handling it as well as any one person could. She really needs help. The service was slow because she was overworked. That's the only reason for the 3 star review. read more

I visited Steak/Shake while staying at Harrahs and ordered $22 worth of food and gave the clerk 2 - $20 bils to which the clerk responded "Out of 2 20;s". The clerk then gave me $3. When I said I gave you 2 - 20's so you owe me $15 more she said no you gave me a 20 and a 5, we can pull the video. I agreed and asked her to pull the video even though it was using up my vacation time. The clerk then said the manager Dustin had to pull the video at 61m. I returned at 6am and was told he wouldn't be in until 9am, I returned at 91m and was told Dustin just comes in whenever he feels like it I checked in several times over 3 days and never met Dustin or got a return phone call, and no refund. Now I am trying to reach corporate or the franchise owner. What a horribly managed business. read more

This spot was one of my favorite hidden gem places to go. It's never that crowded even during cruisin the coast. The quality and taste were great but the last two times have been super disappointing. I visited this Steak and Shake again on 12/28. I was deeply disappointed with the service, but first the good part of the review. I had the Country Skillet which is an big skillet containing biscuits, sausage, eggs covered in gravy. Very good and filling. Now the bad part of the review; the service was horrible. I had to wait several minutes to be seated. The employees saw me standing at the reception stand and dozens of tables were open, but here I stood. After being seated it took a long time for the waitress to take my drink order. Then it took a long time to get my drink and give my meal order. You get the story. We were staying at the Harrah's hotel/casino in Biloxi and this burger place is located inside the casino near the gaming tables. My spouse picked up a to-go dinner order here on 11/11/2020. The employees were friendly and our food was prepared fast and it was all piping hot. They have a breakfast menu which we were not able to try out, but I will post it. Located inside the casino of Harrahs where this is your only choice for late night food but a good choice! Open 24/7. It's rather a tight space but offers a full menu including breakfast. I found it to be reasonably priced. We visited twice. Burgers, hot dogs,fries, chili, grilled chicken salad and onion rings all good. The grilled chicken salad was surprisingly my favorite very fresh and chicken was excellent. Not so much fan of their chili or shakes though. Employees were friendly. Food came out fast. read more

I got a double cheese burger (around $13), chilli cheese fries(around $7) and a milkshake(around $9) it was so expensive. The bread on the burgers is like McDonald's bread. They should look into getting sour dough or something. The chilli cheese fries ingredients are low quality, and my shake tasted spoiled so that was all a waste of money. The people working were very very kind so the service is the only reason I didn't leave a one star. I regret paying over $30 for the crappiest meal ever. It's also inside of a casino so if you wanna gamble with your money by eating here, good luck. read more

Got a triple burger, the meat was so thin it looked like a single. Ordered 2 large fries, both were small... extremely small! Like barely a handful even though we paid an up charge of 80 cents each. There was no way these could have been a large size. Long wait. It wasn't bad food actually but it is expensive. It is inside a casino which is understandable of the high prices. I won't go to this location again. Next time I want Steak 'n Shake I'll go to a different location. read more

After having issues at the restaurant and not getting dinner, I went for a late night snack. There were two people taking orders while we stood in line and when we got to the counter they both walked away to to other things. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come back and take our order only to tell us they were out of the flavor shake we wanted. We ordered a different flavor and cheese fries. We sat down at the counter to wait. It took over 30 minutes for them to realize our fries had been sitting there the entire time. They didn't even think to make fresh ones. We ended up with lukewarm cheese fries that got thrown away. I know it's challenging times but customer service still makes a difference in businesses. read more

I told the waitress to take it off the bill cause we had to go to the Hard Rock and my companion was done. She said they don't do that and told me she would check with Manager. She came back and told me they were almost done with it and would box it up to go. I told her I didn't want it because it would be sitting in my vehicle until probably 2 in the morning. She told me she wasn't taking it off the bill and got smart with me. I proceeded to tell her to just go get the F-ing bill. Next thing I know security is over at my table. He told me they gave my Poboy to someone else and was making me another. I told him I didn't want it. Anyway, I left Poboy on the table and paid my $90 bill. I can promise you I will never be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone else ever again. They really should fire our waitress! She has a smart mouth, never came to table to ask if we wanted refills nor did she care that I didn't get to eat with my friend and lied about why I had not gotten my Poboy yet. You can check my reviews everywhere I travel around the country and see I am not the one to complain unless service is horrible.

I expect there to be a mark up, but just know what to expect. I enjoyed this restaurant in Florida ...so I went there while in Biloxi over this weekend food was ok Not as I expected of you all tho no full menu like others . it's inside the Harrah casino so I couldn't take my kids which was a boomer I thought .. Customer service should always involve basic respect and professionalism. Accidents can happen, but the complete lack of accountability or apology afterward made the situation much worse. No customer should feel disrespected or physically struck, even accidentally, when simply picking up their food. I hope management takes situations like this seriously and works on improving how customers are treated.
