I spent the night feeling like I was being held hostage here. We were on a road trip and needed to eat late, so we stop without checking Yelp first, unfortunately. Plenty of staff, friendly enough, but they stood around a lot. Took awhile for anyone to take our order. Then, the food took 30 minutes to arrive while the place was nearly empty, so it wasn't like they were busy. Food was ok. Overpriced, but ok. I'm writing this review while I'm STILL waiting to check out. Hopefully I get out before they close. ****Edit to add - I finally got out of there 5 minutes before closing. Been going to Hooters since they opened up in Texarkana. Our group of several 50-60 year old men and wifes. Got there yesterday @ 3 very few customers there. Waited at door to be seated two waitress just looked at us and ignored us we sat at nearest table and first thing the girl asked us was how many was is our party, told us several more was coming. We moved to very back of room as others arrived . ended up with with 12 people with one waitress, took at least 10 minutes to get drinks. We was told there was drink limits which was stupid never has been. manager told us to listen and she would tell us her rules. We said forget it. Just bring us the tabs and we was leaving. Service has been slow last few times wife and i was there cause girls were seated at tables flirting with patrons. Other places in town has wings and beer and none of us will be back read more

I am generally not a fan of Hooters, Twin Peaks, or other restaurants where the focus is not the food. I guess I just figure if I want to stare at women and have them pretend to be interested in what I am talking about, I would just go to a strip club and not have to pay for mediocre food. My brother insisted that we eat lunch here, so I went. These places actually are kind of depressing to me. I don't know who is being more exploited, the attractive women who are getting minimum wage plus tips in exchange for their dignity, or the loser men, most of whom had no dignity to begin with, that think the girls working here actually think the girls are paying attention to them for anything other than money. In the end, the only people that come out ahead are the franchisee and Hooters corporate. That being said, I must admit that most of the women working here were very easy on the eyes, and one was drop dead gorgeous. I played it safe and ordered a burger. It was not horrible, although for some reason the cook decided to pour what tasted like a whole shaker full of salt on top of it. The fries that came with it were decent as well. One of the worst Hooters I have been to for service/friendliness. Food is standard fare. Unless you are a regular local (who they seem to almost provide service too,) I think ordering to go might be your best bet. I have visited Hooters all over the country since they opened in 1983 and this review is based on multiple visits to this particular Hooters over a few years. read more

I went there yesterday to get some wings and fries and the lady that served me seemed pretty nice at first until I gave her $100 bill for a $90 check and never received change she continue to make a scene out of it and even started to cry over $10 I was pretty upset about it more so the principal that my money was never brought to me when she claimed multiple times she did bring me my receipt which she never did as I continue to watch her talk to someone at a table next to me and not serve me the entire time I was there to the point even the person I was eating with had to receive their check from a different person I ended up having to leave my $10 for the Girl that was supposed to but did not even really certainly when I wanted to give it to the other girl that was being very nice and taken care of the section that was not even hers. management claimed I was intoxicated and had no clue what I was talking about when it came to my money and I only drink one margarita I told him to look at the cameras and they claimed they were going to but as I said I left I did not have time read more

Yummy food and great deals! Got the pitcher of beer and wings for $15. Wings were very good. Also got the Tex mex nachos and they were perfection! Friendly service. Ok. Came back for a couple football games and we got a table. The waitress didn't really smile at us until a lot later when we started getting very drunk. Then we started ordering massive amounts of beer and playing quarters while rooting for Bama while they were playing Arkansas. The food was actually not too bad here. I got the naked wings with hot sauce which is so much better than their breaded ones. I hate their breaded wings. Also got a steak quesadilla which was pretty good except that I had to ask for a fork and a knife separately because they never brought me any silverware. The food was fine but the service was horrible. My friend ordered a quesadilla and our server asked if she wanted ranch to go with it. She did not mention any cost for that ranch. When we received our bill she was charged $0.99 for a very small cup of ranch that was offered to her. First time at this location. Sunday night 700pm til close . I found the normal amount of sports fans there but and Rangers were playing Detroit and won so good nite. i ordered beer and watched the restaurant function. My server was Amy and she did everything right to normal operating procedure. Beer was cold and was delivered in new frozen mug each time . Amy showed me special attentional and i felt special. per procedure Everything went normal with the exception of a manager checking with me as i was there 3 hours. Would have liked to met the mgr and complimented on service but Amy seemed like she had all under control . Good job i will return to this location and advise friends to do the same read more

I have been to this location numerous times! Even though today is Christmas still doesn't make an excuse! This place has been way busier than today! My family and I sat there waiting on our food to come out for over 2 hours! The waitress kept on bringing other families their food even after they came in after us! The manager never once came out and then come to find out there was 2 managers there working tonight! So if Erin and Lorie are ever working avoid going there! They stay hidden under pressure! The only reason to go to Hooters is to look at sexy girls and watch free UFC fights in my opinion. The food isn't very good, and I have found the service to usually be pretty bad, unless of course you're the boyfriend or friend of one of the waitresses. There are some ladies there that do try and do a good job, one of them being Alex (I think, I'm bad with names), and a couple others in there, but most of them seem horrible to me. This particular Hooters has been a stopping place for myself and friends who ride motorcycles to stop in, have a decent meal and enjoy the atmosphere. After our latest visit this past Saturday evening it will be a thing of the past. We arrived as a group to treat a friend to a night out for his 40th birthday party. We had requested to our server to arrange with the others to make our friends night by simply singing Happy Birthday as a group, ( by the way, this is a common courtesy in almost every restaurant in Texas who APPRECIATES your business). After several attempts, our server returned and said the others simply didn't want to do it. REALLY, for a restaurant that has as it's selling point the friendliness and attractiveness of the waitresses, so we then asked for the Manager. After explaining our request to her, she assembled the group to perform the request, and it was miserable, the Girls were visually and very apparently MAD to have to do such a thing. I have never seen such a rude set of servers in any restaurant, but their haughtiness and their unapproachability was clearly on display this night, our last one to dine there. After their obvious displeasure of having to lower themselves to treat a customer with a good time on such a special occasion, it was embarrassing to be part of the party and have to endure such an ordeal. One server in particular looked entirely pissed off the entire night, so much so that when she passed the table, I offered her a quarter, when she asked what it was for I told her just to have her smile once. With the feeble attempt she made, I should have asked for change. I can understand that everyone has a bad night, but with the exception of a couple of appreciative servers, this is the general mood of the servers on any occasion. It would well serve the restaurant to review its servers for both professionalism, and WARMTH, you know, that thing that makes customers want to return. read more
