Like I had accidentally walked into a staff meeting or a crime scene. At some point it hit me. Oh. They think I'm a cop. Not because I did anything. But because I was standing upright. And sober. And aware. Which, apparently, after 11 pm here is suspicious behavior. For the record, I am not law enforcement. I am just a guy who is cold and trying to hear music. I wasn't kicked out. I wasn't served. I was just... ignored. Like if they pretended I didn't exist long enough, I might fade away. So I left. Nothing dramatic happened. It was just awkward. Uncomfortable.
