Hooters is a chain with no pretense. As with any chain your experience has the potential to be very different from visit to visit. I recently ate at this location twice within two weeks. Our first waitress was really bad. I hesitate to say she wasn't bright but her lack of attention to detail in what we ordered and what she delivered (and how she reacted) led me down that path. The second visit Jamie waited on us and she was phenomenal. She was fun, engaging, quick with refills, didn't mess up our order, etc. The food here is very good for what it is. I am left to wonder though, do they serve different wings on "All you can eat" nights? They seemed of lower quality than usual. read more

There were five of us going for dinner tonight & the most positive part of our visit was our wait person "Kayla!" She was phenomenal, constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. She was absolutely "on top" of everything ( she was a five star) but the rest of our visit( my husband ,3 teenage grandsons & myself went to dinner) at Hooters, West Spfld., was a one star "if that!" I gave it 2 stars due solely because of Kayla's fantastic service! We entered the restaurant tonight at around 6:00 pm, w/ only a few cars in parking lot. We went inside, were greeted right off by friendly wait person , to find, every single booth we tried to sit at, without exception, that we thought at first glance were empty , " were all dirty!" We went to at least eight booths & they all had trash ( dirty dishes & empty cups, used napkins) strewn about. Honestly, we couldn't believe it for plenty of wait staff around talking & in the back , where food comes out. We could see them all talking & no one approached us or attempted to lead us to a clean table, never mind being concerned about cleaning one off or losing business. 4 wait staff just stared at us as we moved fruitlessly from one booth to another, looking for a clean place to sit! I also was astounded that, that many tables had not been cleaned off, but the big thing was, wait staff were not attempting to clean any of these tables either. There was some empty high top tables in front of restaurant ( only one of those tables was occupied) but my husband has problems w/ his back, so sitting at one of those was not an option for my husband, with lower back problems, We could not find one single clean booth & I would say only 5 booths were occupied! The rest were all dirty!!!! We started to walk out, but then my grandson said "What about sitting outside?" They have an outside "area with doors that were pulled down tonight, for it looked like rain!" I usually do not like sitting in "this isolated area, " but seeing nothing was cleaned off or available inside, I said O.K., go ahead out there, for it was late & frankly, I didn't feel like going somewhere else! The area in outside room, at first glance appeared clean but closer examination found two of the tables had crumbs, bits of food & liquid on the tables. Honestly, I was surprised that this restaurant was in such disarray, for they seemed to have plenty of staff everywhere, just no one apparently was much in the mood to clean off tables. We sat down & I was leery for told my husband "No one will see us "out here" , for where we were relegated to sit, felt & was isolated. I felt like we were sitting in a large garage, w/ that giant pull down door. I was not happy sitting out there but nothing else inside was clean. We were there only few mins & Kayla immediately came out, so my fears of being left in limbo out there were thankfully unfounded. Our food came out promptly ( few in restaurant too), that we had ordered. We ordered 50 wings naked & I noticed that the wings ( quality) seem to have gone down considerably & are a huge disappointment ( like our whole visit was ,quite honestly ).They used to carry larger meaty wings ( such a better quality) but these wings were definitely smaller, which means they tend to get hard when cooked for not much meat on the bone. Love the honey bar-b-que sauce but wings were just so-so, if that. I only ate one( to hard)!! We ordered one-half lb of steamed shrimp & they were excellent. The boys had boneless wings (22 pieces & they were tiny too). I think the ten piece for $1.49 @ Burger King could do circles lol! around the disappointing sm sz of these boneless wings at Hooters! The price, for what you get here, was definitely not worth it! I felt the same way about our 50 wings( chicken hard as a rock) for $56. Or $57.00 too! Absolutely not worth it with the quality of the chicken! Very disappointing! The boys also ordered curly fries ( not many in order either) & mozzarella sticks , which looked fine. How The bill came to $149.00 & with the $40.00 tip added to bill, the whole bill came to almost $200.00. Kayla was well worth the tip but the food we received was honestly, just not worth the price.Last few visits here,have been mediocre visits but after today, I don't believe we will be returning. We have been going here since hey opened & it used to be a favorite place of ours( loved their wings ), good food selection, their management & wait staff but this visit tonight kind of did it first me & we won't be returning. I also need to add , that the bathroom was absolutely disgusting! I went in there to use & trash was all over the floor,bathroom stalls were gross & hadn't been scrubbed or cleaned forever, trash was over flowing & to sum it up, their women's restroom was totally filthy!The only good part of our visit was "Kayla", our waitress, quite frankly for food was most definitely not worth what we paid for. read more

Been hankerin for some really hot wings so we stopped in to sample some. I got two flavors the habenaro bbq and the triple dog dare. The habenaro one was really good but not as spicy as you would think and the triple dog dare was spicy and made my lips burn but wasn't over the top hot. I had some cheesecake for desert which was good but the portion came in a thing a little bigger than a shot glass. The service was good and our waitress was great. I just like chicken and Guinness. And they got some new fries now, and I like fries. I've been coming here for about three years, and I really really really miss all of the girls that used to work here. But, luckily I know where they work now, and go see them when I can. However, I like chicken. And Guinness. And football. And I like that they have the lights on. And I'm a hair guy. Did you know that part of their uniform is that they have to have their hair down? How cool is that? I love that. I learned how to draw hair just from sitting here eating chicken. And Guinness. I also learned how to draw hips here, but, well,... Lots of tvs, good nusic. Staff is really down to earth and cool. Prices a bit high for what you get so thats my only drawback. They only offer military discount veterans day but say they are a vet friendly place. So heads up on that. read more

Hooters of West Springfield is the best of the bunch.. The service is the best of any Hooters I've been. Excessively friendly, loud, obnoxious, the hooters charm. I was welcomed as I walked in the door.. and no fewer than 3 servers came over to make sure I was taken care of.. (aww how sweet).. Great group of people.. especially Justine (She knows ;-) ). I also can not fail to mention Audra, and Sierra too.. I dont want them to feel neglected.. they made me feel right at home by not hesitating to pleasantly inturrupt me while I was writing this online review (Yes, they Have FREE wifi too), I work in Springfield quite a bit.. This place makes me feel like a celebrity.. The manager has done an excellent job of hiring people who work really well together to make each customer be excited to come back. This spot has a bit with their wings & various foods (burgers, shrimp, steaks& other things) plus this spot will get your beer fill no question but with other spirits this one o me seemed to not exactly have that but though true I dined at the bar this was maybe a misread of perception. This day in particular they got their wings & on Tuesday they got the classic wings all you can eat & Thursday the boneless variant (which this day was). Now if you wonder these guys got 20 sauces and they have the low one but also the very high heat but if there's a plus I will note they will let you sample the sauces so you know what you're getting into beforehand (one little thing is I hope you never get the sauces get toward the back of your nasal cavity especially the high-heat one like what happened with me because with some of them the heat blast man you think you're blowing out fire out of your nose (YEOW!) & that's real. Prices are reasonable so this is great & now one bit so it's not forgotten they got desserts so if you still opt for sweet you're all set. read more

The thing about this location specifically, the food is great... if you can get any. We go around 10 so the place isn't even packed. Took us nearly an hour for one plate of wings. We constantly went up to ask for our food and they continuously ignored us. It's like they're trying to not get tip at all!! I have only been here twice but it is one of the best Hooters locations I have been to (I've been to 82 different locations so far). The layout is nice with garage-door style openings to enjoy the weather and the bar has a straw roof over it like a tiki bar. The service was great both times I've been here. read more

Came in with the family for dinner from out of town. Ordered 2 pepsi, 3 water got 3 (and was charged for) 3 pepsi, 2 water. Asked for 20 wings medium, extra crispy - they were not medium, mostly butter and definitely not crispy - very rubbery. The rest of the food was satisfactory at best. At the end of the meal, the waitres s knocked over a full glass of ice water all over my daughter, soaking her clothes, her shoes and getting her phone wet. She said "oh sorry" and pulled off some paper towels. THAT WAS IT.....We were going to continue on elsewhere for the evening, but now her outfit is wet, so forget that, you would expect a little more in the way of an apology, perhaps bring her a dry t-shirt to wear, maybe even a discount on the check, but nope...nothing...let that girl walk out in wet clothes....Really????? read more

On all you can eat boneless wings night, the service can be hit or miss... HOWEVER, no matter what, hooters of west springfield is always a fun, lively atmosphere. The wing flavors are very good (especially the grilled fury). I prefer boneless wings over bone-in, and the breading is quite good. Ordered carry out from here yesterday since I wanted to try the food here for the first time. I ordered the 10 piece traditional wing 3 mile flavor, fried pickles, tater tots onion rings and a shrimp po boy. It was all fresh and when I arrived but all of the waiters where sitting in the back so I just guessed where I would pick up my order since no one figured to ask me what I was there for. I got the food at the bar and the waitress didn't bother to confirm or verify all the food was there. She just plopped the two big bags on the bar asked how I was paying so I checked it myself. There was no thank u or any greeting after the payment was received neither. The food was ok minus some of the wings being under cooked. Customer service was horrible and the food was low rate. Won't be going back anytime soon if ever. read more

I was seated at a table in a corner and there were very loud guys getting drunk around me and it echoed off the walls and gave me a head ache. Service is awful. Waitresses are borderline special needs. They tried to make a jack and coke 3 times and could not get it right. Each time it tasted worse and worse. Just placed a pick up order the other day. Prices were somewhat high during standard hours. I got 50 wings and they cost about 50 bucks. Kinda seems expensive, especially when you buy in bulk. Staff was friendly and the ladies were very attractive. I was only picking up, but I didn't like the atmosphere. It has a bar atmosphere, but the lighting was really bright like a family restaurant. Visited this place on 07/03/13 for the very first time. We ordered the fish tacos, the big fish sandwich, and curly fries. The food exceeded our expectations. Let me start by saying Shaila was our waitress and was fantastic. She was by far phenomenal. She did not hurry us, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us fresh drinks with to go cups because when we first sat down we mentioned we were on a road trip. I usually get wings in Tuesday's here. Went here one Sunday and got a mushroom Swiss burger and is was amazing. Better than five guys and some of the other places. Fresh non frozen beef too.
