I was allowed to record with my phone as we're about 15 other people. This is a public venue open to the public and Ohio does not require approval of any second party to record and/or post. Conveniently a month earlier I was ask by staff if I had recorded the events leading up to a major issue of some adult running over a bunch of kids when the adult was skating the song direction at an accelerated pace. The incident had happened right before I got there, seems like if the recording would of helped their case they wanted it, other wise I was infinging on people's privacy. If you are afraid of someone seeing your kids having fun maybe they should be kept at home. You can't very well use your policies to suit your venue at your will, I would recommend you decide ahead of time and post them where everyone can see them. Them to maybe you should require patons turn over phones camera and other recording equipment at the door. I wonder how long the business would last at that point, I think you already have a poor business plan in the works, why not finish it off? Dennis Armstrong

Nothing special going on here but 10 year Olds skating and a couple middle aged men trying to show off to there wife's. Pizza is ok for a place like this. Went to Skate America in Grove City and don't ever plan on going back. Their parking lot is small,…read moregravel, and has many holes. This is a very small facility; I've never seen a smaller roller rink. There should have been a cap of how many people allowed in, because it made skating and just moving around inside so difficult. Everything looks at least 30-40 years old here, our booth was wobbly and unstable. The carpet was old and stained. It was very challenging to move around on the carpeted areas, but also the rink, due to the extreme number of people in the building. I felt like I was in a packed bar or club. I can't overstate that there were way too many people and children. The rink itself is painted concrete, which I've never seen before. It is somewhat uneven, you can feel the small rises and falls in the concrete, but it's not too severe. There were A LOT of children with the little PVC skate-aid things, but skating as an adult was made extremely challenging & nearly impossible because of this. The music they played was fun, and there was some interactions from the DJ, like a backwards skate only, and "all girls only skate," and then "all boys only skate," for a song each. I did like that there are ceiling fans over the rink, to cool you down. The ceiling felt really low, which I think made the whole place feel even smaller. The bathrooms were pretty clean and well stocked, but I didn't like that there were no hooks on the bathroom stall doors. They did let me bring my water bottle in, which I appreciated. There were lockers, but we didn't rent one. Overall, this place is probably fine if you're a kid, but terrible if your an adult skater looking to skate. Go to United Skates or America on Refugee instead!!

However, the skating aids (the little rolling walker-type creations) were $7 a piece to rent for the evening. The women's bathroom was very clean. Interestingly, the sinks, mirrors, and hand dryers are outside of the restrooms. Inside is only the stalls. This creates a nice flow of traffic and avoids any traffic jams inside the restrooms. That said, all the preteens and teenagers had to do their primping outside the restrooms and fully visible to everyone inside the skating area. While the party included pizza and drinks, many of us bought food items from the concessions area before the food came out. The food was a bit slow coming out but everything was good and the fries were top notch! I'd definitely come back just for the arcade or just for skating. It seems that doing both would be a much larger time commitment, and enough to fill a major block in the day if you wanted.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I recently had during Wednesday…read moreadult skate night. I have been coming to this skating rink since I was a child and have consistently attended adult skate night for over a year, which is why this experience was especially upsetting to me. The first issue occurred at the snack counter around 11:49 PM. I politely asked for a cup of ice water and was told the stand was closed, even though the posted closing time was 12:00 AM. Less than five minutes later, I witnessed another customer being helped at the same counter. When I calmly asked why I had been denied service while another customer was assisted, I felt the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. The second incident occurred on May 6th and involved my skate stoppers. One of my stoppers accidentally fell off before I could fully attach it, and I was trying to figure out a solution while also asking staff whether anyone had found the missing piece. I explained the situation respectfully and made it clear that I was not intentionally breaking the rules. However, I felt I was spoken to sarcastically and treated unfairly by a manager during the interaction. When I attempted to remove myself from the situation and seek help from another employee, I felt further confronted rather than assisted. The interaction escalated unnecessarily, and I was ultimately asked to leave and denied a refund despite trying to calmly explain my situation. I completely understand the importance of enforcing rules and maintaining safety. However, I believe all customers should be treated with fairness, professionalism, and respect. As a long-time customer who regularly supports adult skate night, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and disappointed by how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve customer service experiences moving forward -De'Aira
