Palisade Bri & house made salt & vinegar chips

I had the Palisade Bri & house made salt & vinegar chips. Very delicious!! And serving was great, didn't realize I walked in 15 mins before they open, but still served me Can't wait to come back & try other options!

Killer sandwich place! Stopped in today for the first time and ordered the Aspen melt with tots (truffle seasoning). My husband got the Pueblo cheesesteak with tots (bacon jalepeno cheddar seasoning). Both were to die for. Came out quick, decently priced, and huge portions. The tots were crispy and both of the seasonings were fantastic. Highly recommend grabbing one of the chocolate chip cookies. We made the mistake of skipping it and I regret it now lol.

Whew, after a super hot day out at Pride.. ZEPs was just what I needed to get back up and running. They have an interesting menu with lots of cool sandwich options. I went to ZEPs with a vegan and GF and we all found something tasty on the menu. I did feel like it was a bit pricey for what I had for lunch, but all in all an oasis amid some of the other choices available.

The epiq italian at Zep's was great! As seen from the cross-section, it's pretty close to the picture they advertise the sandwich with. I stepped in to pick up the food, and the ambiance was fun and lively. The food took a little bit of time to come out, but you could see them make it fresh, so I was happy to wait. I felt the price point was relatively fair as well. As for the sandwich itself, it was delicious! It was well packed with meat and veggies. A little more meat would have really sealed the deal, but when isn't that the case? The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the acidity of the pickled ones cut through the richness of the meat well. If I lived in the area, I would stop by regularly and sign up for their rewards program, which seems like a good deal.

LOVED this place! We did our normal "order too much food" menu sampling, but everything we tasted was spot on!! I love that all of the selections have CO names (even if the server couldn't pronounce Palisade correctly, haha). I was craving a good toasted (warm) sandwich, and that is exactly what Zoe's Epiq delivered!! From the Colorado Cubano to the Spicy Shrimp Po' Boy, the Palisade Turkey and Brie and the Breckenridge bourbon Dipper - not one of them was even mediocre! We also sampled the tomato bisque! EXCELLENT! We'll definitely go back to try others, but hands down, The Breckenridge dipper was the BEST!!!

It's a slightly better subway imho...but still good. Sandwiches use great bread and the ingredients" were fine if not a little "institutional". Food comes out pretty quick. Service is great. The star of the show are their tots....cajun tots....omg crispy goodness.

Meh... it was alright. I don't think I would go back. But, it served in a pinch. Perhaps it was the late afternoon, but the food wasn't hot.

All that said, my first time at Strange was two weeks ago. I'd heard about this place for years from one of my friends, but never been. What a low-key, great place! The bartenders were chill. The prices were incredibly reasonable for craft, microbrew and a most excellent selection as you could want. The folks that seemed to be regulars were friendly... can see why my friend has been going there for so long, now! And, hello, shopping center parking in a quasi-industrial area that totally felt safe?! I'm definitely throwing this place back in the hat for another rotation here!

Tucked inside the Free Market alleyway at Dairy Block, this smaller satellite location delivers big on atmosphere. The tap list is thoughtfully curated, and the real standout is the space itself. The seating areas feel intentionally designed, cozy, and creative ~ and they rotate the layout every couple of months, which keeps things feeling fresh. When I stopped by, the main room was set up with comfy couches, lounge chairs, and bean-bag-style seating that practically invites you to settle in. I got so relaxed I ended up hanging out for several hours without even realizing it. It's the kind of place where time disappears in the best way. Shoutout to Joy, the beertender working that day ~ she was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful when talking through the beers. Great service without being overbearing, which always elevates the experience. If you're looking for a spot downtown that feels laid-back, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, this taproom absolutely delivers. Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.
