The Slow Pour Pils is one of three beers that I would consider the unofficial beer of Denver. It takes five minutes to pour, is served in a custom made glass (really cool story behind this), and has the perfect floating foam (like a cloud) sitting perfectly atop the beer. I crushed two of their Italian Pilsners yesterday. This is simply a fantastic beer. The Helles and Dunkel surely are not to be missed. But do one thing, get their Oktoberfest when it comes out (usually around mid September). It's one of the best I've ever had. There's a lot of stories inside this building. The legendary pieces of equipment, the unique brewing methods, the different spaces to hang out, etc. There's a reason Bierstadt has been tapped as the brewery "where the brewers go."
