The kitchen was closed already so we did not get to try the food on our next trip out. Definitely be back. This is a great thing to do if you're visiting Rhode Island the wine was excellent. It is not super sweet like the yogurt you buy in the supermarket. In fact it's extremely Tangy which is just how I like it! It reminds me a lot of European yogurt which is made very differently than the mass produced yogurts here. I cannot believe the price of the milk it is so reasonable and so is the price of the drinkable yogurt. If you live in the area and you want to try some fresh milk give this place a try I think that you'll be quite pleased.

We sat on the wrap-around farmer's porch a good deal, both from our room and at breakfast. Everything was clean and comfortable. The inn is beautiful. It's worth a climb down to the tap room/bar for its charm alone! Little Compton has a lot to offer, and we will probably come back, definitely staying at The Stone Inn.

I did summer camp here, and loved it. It was my favorite camp all summer!…read more The horses were so sweet, specifically Romeo, and Butters. They had so much energy for the walk, trot, and canter. There were also some counselors, who taught us a lot of things such as parts of a bridle and saddle. We also learned how to ride in both English, and Western saddles, and the difference. I also did multiple trail rides, which are great for beginner riders, and private lessons, which are good for all levels.
