Artist studios. Yoga studio. Massage and personal care, salon, event space, photographer, restaurants, farmers market, bakeries, tutors, kids arts and crafts, coffee, escape room, loft apartments. An old mill complex has been turned into a multi-purpose space. Rhode Island history is full of mills and I love that they re-purposed these buildings instead of knocking them down. There is on street parking, some in a courtyard (a tight squeeze for the larger vehicles) a small lot across the road on Main Street, a smaller lot on Dudley street and a large lot at the bottom of the hill behind the mill. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find your parking spot. read more

This was my moms first time being a vendor at the Hope Artiste Village. Dorine who I believe was the coordinator for the Holiday Stroll was in constant communication with me via email to help me set up the vendor station for my mom. The day of was so easy to bring my mothers items from the side door thanks to the clear instructions. Everyone was so helpful and it was a fun experience! Thank you! read more

Very nice open space. Checked it out for a fundraising function and enjoyed my time there. The directions were very easy and right off the high way. I was told there are many different functions to this space, entertainment space and a bowling alley! Has a warehouse feelings but still cozy and welcoming. I would recommend this space to rent out for functions. Not sure about the coordination I was just a guest. Nice work ! read more

As one of the very first tenants of The Hope Artiste Village I have seen this artist, designer and entrepreneurial community grow and now flourish. We have great coffee with New Harvest Coffee, Groovy good Karma with PeaceLove Studios, many talented artist and now two restaurants, The Bread Lab and Nosh. Starting early November the Winter Farmer's Market will begin again from 9am -1pm in bot the 999 Main Street, and 1005 Main Street hallways. I am a fan of this place. One of the best of these markets I have seen. Tidy and it didn't smell bad. Once you are in, it is spacious, easy for the customers and vendors to move about. The artists/businesses had a lot to offer, and people were willing to engage in conversation and purchase the goods without hesitation. Why? It is because the food and products were unique, fairly priced and local. What is there not to love about those attributes? Parking can be a challenge on a busy Saturday, but it is worth the effort and walk from afar. If you are lucky, local food trucks are parked outside as well. I went here for the Wintermarket, but I look forward to coming back for other events. read more

Lovely, lively staff! I attended a arts and crafts, meditation ceremony. The instructor cried a bit, saying she was overwhelmed with joy. What a sweetheart she was, We were all so different and yet so the same. Huge parking lot across the street and They also have a delicious restaurant with a full bar. This place is wonderful. Now I can only speak to how it is during the Winter's Farmer's Market but I'm sure any other time is a pleasure to go to as well. There is truly something for everyone here. I love the wide array of businesses that are in this old historic building. The spaces for each store, gallery, space is simply beautiful! The way the light comes in and the way the historic features shine is incredible. There are so many shops here. From what I recall - a floral shop, art galleries, restaurant a music studio, a fitness studio, gift shops, violin shop and so much more. You feel a sense of community when you walk in here and nothing makes me happier than history restored. I'd highly recommend checking this place out -- Saturdays during the Winter are my favorite time but anytime is great. read more

Can you believe it took me more than four years to get over to Hope Artiste Village? Me neither. This place is effing awesome - coffee roasters, yoga & pilates studios, galleries, performance art, restaurants and vintage shops fill every nook of this very cool, turn-of-the-century New England mill. They also hold larger community events, like the wintertime farmer's market and Craftopia arts fair. It's also a hub for food trucks, so get there on Saturday, pick out your goodies and then perch yourself on the steps or in the amazing courtyard. Street parking only, which can be tricky but it's well worth it! read more

Hope is one of my favorite places to go during the winter and now they have some great restaurants. Brick Oven on Main is delicious for brunch and has a full bar. The Winter Farmer's Market is my favorite place to get fresh veggies, delicious pastries, cute art items, and even a full lunch on a Saturday morning. I like to take a loop walk around, check out the items and prices, and then go back to buy my items. I always get the pea microgreens for some greens during the winter. I also like the still warm croissants to munch on while I walk around. There are also some citrus items which are a welcome break in the middle of winter. A lot of the vendors are the same each week but they bring in some new ones each time. read more

I've only been here for events, but I've enjoyed seeing it come into its own over the past few years. Even though I am here for the events, the space makes me so happy. I made sure to bring my mother this past weekend, since she is a huge fan of architecture, and through her eyes I was able to take in all the details all over again. The wide hallways, beaten down wood flooring, large green metal doors, beautiful windows, well lit studios, and the list goes on. I'm so happy with the choices that have been made in the updating and occupation of the spaces. It is starting to remind me a little of Chelsea Market in NYC - one of my favorite spots there. What a beautiful space! Believe it or not - my first time at Hope Artiste Village was this past Saturday for the Winter Farmers Market. (And what a cool place for a farmer's market!) I contacted Jacqueline DuBose at Events on Main at Hope Artiste Village on April 21, 2019 to book the space for an event on December 21, 2019. She told me the rate was $75.00 per hour on Saturday, and sent over the list of what everything cost. I made the deposit the next day and sent her an e-mail advising her that a payment was made. Fast forward to November, and Jacqueline Dubose is telling me that the rental fee is $100 per hour and I have to spend a minimum of $1500.00. I only find out because I reached out to her, to add more items to my list. She never called me to tell me the prices changed or that I had a minimum I had to me. She is unprofessional, and a liar! I would never recommend this venue to anyone. read more

i love this place so hard. THIS is the MECCA of artists in rhode island... there are studios for days. If you haven't been it is a RI MUST. Check out the farmers market, host an event in the beautiful Greenhouse or check out an artist studio. Plenty of street parking + really easy to get to. Each entrance has a guide where you can see where the studios are located to help you navigate. It's just a beautiful thing. If you crave creativitly... this is your kinda place! read more

I love this space. I love how the areas that have been remodeled have been maintained in the historic style. I love the WIDE hallways and the beautifully dinged hardwood floors. I love each of the shops that lines the "main drag" where the Winter Market is. I love the Winter Market. I love the light that the skylights allow in many of the retail spaces. I have only been in the model artist spaces -- again -- GORGEOUS light. I love that the space houses so much local business --- be it retail, be it exercise studios, be it private business, be it coffee roasters. Energy pulses here. read more

Love going to this place so much to do and different things to see. Between the shops, bakery, restaurant, live music at the met. This is a wonderful place to make use of an old mill. More towns and places should loom into it. Has a little bit of something for everyone. read more

This is a great old industrial space being repurposed for art and business. Love the mix of tenants - farmers market, coffee shop, restaurants, artists, small businesses, and even a bowling alley and an escape room. Being new to the space, I found it a little difficult to navigate directly to things. A little more experience would likely take care of that, but a floor plan or directory would be helpful. At least it's kind of fun to just meander through and see what you might find. Seems like there is still a lot of empty space and it will be interesting to see what else crops up there. The location is easy to get to in that it is right off the highway, but it is not in a busy walkable area so I hope people find it. read more

My experience here made my wedding planning so much harder than it needed to be. The manager lacks professionalism, an example of that is she started her first email to me with "like I told you in the meeting" (which she never did which is why I sent the email in the first place.) I had asked her on 3 different occasions to update our portal to include 4 extra tables, one for the DJ, one for the dessert table, a small sweetheart table & a small round table for the cake. Jackie(the manager) never included these tables or updates the tablecloths to the color we needed. Until of course 2 weeks before the actual event date where she emailed me for final payment, which I was not going to send until my updates were made. Jackie proceeds to tell me that I'm asking for too much & she's worried about space, granted we had almost 200 guests BUT all of this I had been asking for months ahead of time and I don't think I was asking for anything excessive. We then met with the assistant manager, and I told her about the updates I needed, she was extremely nice & seemed to want to meet my needs but did not. The portal still wasn't updated until a week before my wedding date. Now my wedding was on a Sunday, I emailed asking if I could come in that morning to decorate. The assistant manager told me "of course! I'll get them to clean overnight" so I wake up bright and early on my wedding day to decorate the hall and walk in the a mess from the night before! When I ask her what happened so tells me well I was going to set up the tables but didn't want the cleaners to get them dirty when they come clean LATER TODAY!! So here I am, completely baffled as to why on earth she would tell me it would be clean and ready for me to decorate at that time!! Anyway I worked it out with her and my family & had the place decorated in time. Now the reception itself went smoothly, except for when the assistant manager decided to yell at my DJ in front of all of my guests because he was announcing the food too early, which he was annoucing based on the timeline that was printed for both of them and at the end of the night when they charged us almost double the bar tab because they "didn't remember" that we had paid more than half of it ahead of time along with the final payment. Bartenders and waiters were great but management was horrid. read more
