I visited recently and during my stay came with my 2 year old almost daily! I love this park! So sad that we don't have it back home in NY. There were certain days where there were only a few kids, and then there were peak times when classes would come and cause it to become a lot more busy. I was told that this park was designed for children with disabilities, which I am find amazing. There are several areas for children of multiple ages with age appropriate activities. The only improvement I would ask for is in the design. If possible, it would have been nice to have a way to have a single entry/exit for each area so I could sit at the entrance to ensure my child didn't leave without my knowledge. I would be nice to allow her to run through the park without a concern that she may move to another part without my knowledge. This is a minor inconvenience, but if I were asked for something to change, that would be the only thing I could think of. read more

Park is great. Like the other reviewers state, it's great that this is separated into 2 areas (younger and older), and only 1 entrance/exit on both. This place gets packed but there is so much to do that it keeps the kids busy. The ice cream trucks are always there so bring some money or face that battle with the kiddos. WOW, just WOW!!! Hope Park has to be one of the BEST and most AMAZING parks I have ever been to. There are two giant areas for kids to run around and play. On the right side of the pathway there is the toddler play area with a soft foam type flooring, so they won't hurt themselves when they fall. There are plenty of slides, swings, a spinner toy, saw horse and places to climb around. The play area over on the left side is for the bigger kids, which is nice so they don't trample over the younger kids. It has a giant jungle gym type play area with slides, swings, a rope walk to work on their balance and other fun stuff. The big kid area is covered with wood chips and one area has some sand. In between both of the play areas there is a covered picnic area with a bunch of picnic tables. Around the play area there is plenty of seating for the parents to relax while they let their kids run around and have a blast. The parking lot is very big, so finding a parking spot isn't going to be a problem. To the east of the parking lot are the public bathrooms and a spray park where kids or adults can go and cool off in the hot summer weather. The park is very well maintained. I have yet to ever see any garbage laying around. Defiantly a place I will keep bringing my daughter to, she absolutely loves this place. read more

What a beautiful little gem off of Main St. in Frisco! This is a huge, clean park with separate play areas for little ones and bigger kids. The toddler area is covered in soft flooring and has places for kids to climb, as well as little activities on the walls (like spinners, a chart with sign language, a mirror) for them to interact with. There are super cute toddler swings and a couple of baby swings suitable for teeny tiny ones, like my baby. I didn't check out the big kid area, but the playground is so expansive I'm sure there's something for everyone. There's a nice covered picnic table area, and it looked like someone was setting up a birthday party while we were there. There's also a splash pad area nearby that looked nice and refreshing. My baby is a smidge too young to fully enjoy Hope Park, but she had a great time on the baby swings and I'm looking forward to coming here as she gets older and can really start to explore. Lots of parking, too. If you have kids and live in the area, it's a must-visit! read more

Oh. My. Goodness! This park is the cleanest, largest, most educational and fun park I have ever been to. I took my best friends kiddos here and they absolutely LOVED it. It was sweltering HOT but they were having so much fun that it didn't bother them one bit. They only have one way in and out of each section of the park so parents should feel fairly comfortable not being able to see where their kids are at all times. Plus they have cameras all over the park for added security. There is a nice, shaded picnic area in case you want to bring some snacks. Also, if it gets too hot, walk a little ways over to the splash pad next door! It is fantastic! This is my go-to park for all the kiddos in my life! read more

What I tried to disguise as exercise was seen through by a little four year who asked if my husband and I were also playing Pokemon. Yes, kid, this place is a treasure chest for anyone interested in the game BUT multiple pluses come out of this experience of looking for hoards of Pokestops here. Hope Park is a HUGE park with tons of field space, which we plan to return with our friends to play some flag football, gorgeous water areas (have seen some people fishing each time we've visited), hills to run up and down, a deeper woods area if that's you're thing, and just a lot of long sidewalks to run on. I can't wait until it gets cooler so we can spend more time jogging here. I did bring my nephew and mom here a couple years ago. He was at the age where he was too old to go bonkers over a playground so we didn't really put Hope Park in it's full and glorious use. Looks fun and safe for the kids though! read more

This was always my daughter's favorite park before they did the renovation into Hope and Friendship Park. So after it was completed, I decided to take her over there to see the new place. She absolutely loved it! They kept the same layout of the old park, just looks like they renovated it a bit. Then next door, they have Hope Park, which is for all children, but made for handicapped or kids with disabilities in mind. Such a sweet concept. My daughter played in both sides and had a blast. It's so detailed with nice inspirational quotes painted on the equipment. Also very colorful and lively. Not like any playground I've ever seen. Definitely a new gem in Frisco! read more

This park is near my brother's house and it's so much fun that I almost want to drive to Frisco just to play there. Almost. :) It's enclosed and there are separate areas for toddlers and bigger kids and it's just cool. My only complaint was that it was kind of a hike to the bathrooms. read more

What a wonderland! I watched this park get built and I didn't appreciate how spectacular it truly is until I took my 4 and a half year old niece. She LOVED every inch of that place! She hit up the young tits section and the 5-12's and played her little heart out for over an hour! They have the coolest swings ever! I had read that it's handicap friendly/accessible which is beautiful (all kids should get to play!) and I think that these swings were but to that degree as well. It was warm and windy but in the park the elements were not harsh. I love that it was busy on a weeknight (but don't worry, it's so big you are not crowded).
