The way they were able to accommodate a large party of over 10 people, was pretty impressive, and the live music was a bonus! We had been having mostly red wine, so it was an awesome continuation. I'm always a sucker for a good Cabernet Sauvignon. The service was quick and effortless, would definitely come again if in the area.

Me outside the winery by the wood burning pizza oven. We did not have food here to comment on BTW.

We walked on (party of 13) and they found a comfortable table for us immediately. The wines were very tasty and the surroundings were modernly rustic in a warming way. We stayed about an hour as we were in a party bus waiting to take us home. They had live music which was nice too. I'd go back to this winery for sure!

Haven't been here in awhile - pre covid, and things have changed. The wine is still really good - especially the reds! No bueno on the plastic cups. For me, it's all about the vessel. Unlike other wineries that may serve flights in plastic, this one doesn't provide a glass if you ask. You have to purchase for 4.00 so bring one if that's important. It was a Thursday and it was early so we were the only people. The woman that helped us was very pleasant. Just not wowed by the plastic. Other than that, it's a really pretty place

Plenty of parking. Relaxing environment. Pleasant service. The winery is very beautiful. The scenery and setting is so beautiful. Lots of seating inside and outside. A lot of people just enjoying and having fun. Live music, good wine and delicious pizza. Great service! We highly recommend this winery.

Cute winery in Pennington, NJ about 1.5 hours from North Jersey and close to Philadelphia. They have both indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. They also have outdoor seating under a roof which was perfect because it started to rain but we were still covered when sitting outside. We ordered 2 bottles of wine to share, the bread, and each a wood fired pizza. Everything was excellent! The staff here are very nice and helpful when trying to pick out which wines to try.

Bad Hombres band played our party at Hopewell Valley Vineyard.

Cute little winery! Went on a Sunday & they had great live music. Due to it being busy we were unable to do a tasting flight which was disappointing since it was our first time there. Wine, brick oven pizza, & service were good. Would definitely like to return & try some other wines.

I've visited here twice now and each time had a very loved the experience. They are one of the few vineyards that stay open late in the area with live music and fresh food coming out of the oven. They literally have a brick oven making fresh pizza! My go to's are the white Merlot if you are into sweet, the "Berbosa" prosciutto pizza, and the brownies. You can't go wrong with that combo. There is a ton of parking near the entrance. The staff is nice. The prices are some of the most reasonable of the vineyards in the are ranging from around $13-$35 for a bottle. Some of their bottles are a bit smaller than the standard wine bottle though. Overall a great option for a date night or relaxing day with good drinks and eats.

This vineyard is a little far from home but I'm glad I got to experience it. We came right before tasting ended, but the guy behind the bar, was kind enough to let us partake. He explained all the wines very thoroughly and was super friendly and I think that made our experience so much better. There's both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The indoors is very cozy and there was a band playing. The outdoor are would have been super cute, with the lights decorating the area, but it was a little too cold that day. We got a bottle of the cab and a pizza along with it. The cab was good, the pizza, not so much but it was fine in a pinch.

Beautiful venue, we hosted our engagement party here and it was 5 stars! Jess in Events was easy to work with, Violetta the owner is extremely knowledgeable. We would host another party here any day! Thank you all.

This is such a cute spot! The first time I visited was in the spring, and at that time it was possible to sit on the deck and watch the sun set with a lovely (and reasonably priced) glass of wine, so it was a great intro to the place. Most recently I was there for "jazzy Sunday." The band was good--not overpowering so conversation could still be heard--a nice background complement. And ever since my first visit when I saw spanakopita on the menu, I knew the owners must be Greek (bless the heavens!!) Turns out one of them is, but I have yet to meet her. An afto to diavasete, thelo na sas gnoriso! Sorry, I had to interlude in Greek. The spanakopita itself was great, but I wasn't a fan of the accompanying tzatziki. (I'd actually planned to order the pizza, but I read "thick crust," and I'm not a huge fan of that style, so we just had wine and meze.) The Chardonnay was definitely different from most...my friend liked it but I think I prefer more buttery? Either way, I like this winery whenever I'm visiting the area, so I'm sure I'll be back! **follow up note: I just found an old photo and realized we had eaten the pizza before and it was NOT thick crust! (At least not how I'd envision thick crust). A revision might be necessary for the description!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the staff behind the bar (wish I knew her name). The customer service is impeccable! The staff was very friendly, and attentive! She was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave us a little history about the tasting. We chose to do two tastings (you can choose 6 wines) so we intentionally chose different wines so that we could broaden our horizon. The wines were great. All tasty however, some did not sit well with my pallet. I really like that they offer oyster crackers to eat while you are tasting the wine to clean you pallet prior to the next tasting. I wish some other wineries would do that. If your pallet is clear prior to tasting different wines you will really be able to identify all of the notes of the different wines. The ambiance was nice as always. Tomasello Winery in Lambertville, NJ is a small quaint tasting room in the middle of old town Lambertville. There isn't much room however, the small space offers a more intimate tasting experience. Overall, it was a great experience. I especially enjoyed all of their ciders particularly the apple cider and watermelon cider. I was able to take some bottles home as well. I thought it was really nice and sweet for the lady to hold our bottles while we went shopping in the town so that we would not have to carry our bottles from store to store. They were heavy bottles so that would have been impossible and not enjoyable. We had a great time and we will be back soon! Please check out Tomasello Winery if you are in the Lambertville area. You will not regret it. Cheers!

Views of the vineyard and Sourland Mountains are stunning and I couldn't stop gazing at all the beauty. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed in the outdoor spaces which includes a seasonal tented area, the cabanas along the building, and they can walk around the property. The vineyard tent provides great shade from the sun and weather conditions and is an expansive space with lots of tables and waiter service. Come hungry and thirsty because the menu has so much to offer including Spanish-inspired tapas and entrees. We cleaned off our plates like Brie cleans off her bowl showing how much we enjoyed the pan con tomate, potato leek soup, and patatas bravas. Options include ordering items individually or opt for a wine & food pairing. On Saturdays and Sundays between 11:30am-2:30pm, brunch is also served with some nice specials and offerings. The wine selection is extensive too and we highly recommend a wine tasting flight to sample six varieties and I really enjoyed the reds, with Darryl Mack Cellars Red being my favorite. In addition to tastings, you can order a glass, or a bottle to enjoy with your meal. Live music and other events round out a wonderful experience and makes for a nice day out! We chatted with the manager, Omar, who is very friendly and attentive and was intrigued by Brie's doggy dance to get attention. This place is popular and reservations are recommended as seating cannot be guaranteed for walk-ins. Easily book your visit on their website and check out all that Old York Cellars has to offer.
