Amazing little gem. We love this new winery :). We've been back several times. Wide selection of wines to choose from. Available for flights, glass and bottles. We absolutely loved our evening on the patio sharing a chilled bottle of wine. Definitely check this place out!

What a lovely winery- unassuming, super nice service and the wines were quite good. I got the tasting of five and liked them all. Loved the Sangiovese... it's only been open a little over a year so if you haven't been, give it a try. You won't regret!

Came here for a Father's Day Pig Roast.. service food and wine was all excellent. Small batch winery and fairly new winery. What he grows is what is made into wine. Nice and cozy atmosphere with live music.. will definitely visit again for food and wine. Owners and staff was all super nice. The owner is 5th generation wine maker from Sicily..

This is hands down the BEST winery I have been to in my entire life!!! From the hospitality, the food, and the taste, this place is amazing. The owners are extremely sweet and knowledgeable, as well as a fun time. We celebrated my 24th birthday there and it just so happened to be a karaoke night, my personal favorite was the Sauvignese, they also gave me a dessert wine and a small chocolate platter on the house! Their kindness, delicious food, and awesome vibes could not have made this a better experience. I will absolutely be back for one of their next events!!!!

    Wine tasting tower. Pretty cool.

My wife and I were out wine tasting in the area and were told about a new winery that literally just opened about a week or so ago. We just had to go try it and support a new business. We were greeted by the owners Otto and his wife Lily. They were so nice. We got the whole story of how it was his dream to own a winery. Congratulations to him and his whole family who worked so hard to make the dream a reality. The wines were all very good! We were given a sample of their white wine sangria slushy which I will crave everyday now. Special shout out to Cindy who is great friends with the owners and works there. She was so great to talk with. We entered as strangers, but left as friends. That is a testament to good people who worked hard to create a warm, friendly place of business. Beth and I wish you great success!

Beautiful family owned winery with delicious wines. Stop by and try a flight. I prefer the reds. Nebbiolo and Sangiovese were absolutely delightful.

The museum is dedicated to medieval art and architecture. The Cloisters itself is a stunning building. Our first Tour Guide took us around the wonderful medieval statues and gardens. She explained thoroughly about all the herbs and plants that are culinary and for their medicinal purposes. Our second tour guide Valerie was excellent for the "Highlights of the Met Cloisters. A major museum highlight is the Unicorn Tapestry Room (Permanent Display). These 7 tapestries were created approximately 500 years ago. (The Narrative: The Unicorn series tells a story ranging from the hunt's start and the unicorn at a fountain to its defense, capture, and, finally, the famous "Unicorn in Captivity" image). The museum does have a café (The Trie Cafe) on the premises. It's very good for a quick bite along with garden view seating. Museum times as follows: Sunday through Tuesday 10 AM - 5 PM Wednesday- Closed Thursday-Saturday 10 AM- 5 AM. It's best to arrive at the Cloisters upon opening. During the first tour, it wasn't too crowded, but the second tour was extremely crowded. The Met Cloisters is located at 99 Margaret Corbin Drive Fort Tryon Park, New York City, NY 10040. Highly recommend visiting the stunning Met Cloisters.

The Cloisters is a museum in Fort Tryon Park, governed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It specializes in European medieval art and architecture, and its buildings are centered around four cloisters --the Cuxa, Saint-Guilhem, Bonnefont, and Trie-sur-Baïse. The museum was designed to evoke medieval European monastic life, making it a very special place. It houses about 5,000 works of European art and architecture (doors, arches, columns) mostly dating from the 12th through 15th centuries. Perhaps its most famous works are the Unicorn Tapestries. When I visited this past weekend, it was quite crowded. And it's easy to see why. The museum is gorgeous and peaceful. Plenty of people were reading or journaling or relaxing in the sunlight in the Trie Cloister (I found a little nook and read my book for a bit as well). Many more were relaxing in the Bonnefont Cloister. Inside the museum was crowded as well - lots of people were enjoying a spring day at the Cloisters. I distinctly remember the last time I was at the Cloisters, and it was a cool, foggy day. I think I almost prefer the Cloisters then - it's less crowded and you really feel like you could be walking around a medieval monastery where the cloisters are under a blanket of fog or if it's drizzling. Whatever the weather, the Cloisters is a unique museum. A ticket to the Met gets you into the Cloisters on the same day as well (and vice versa), so you can make a full day of the Met art by spending time at both. It's accessible by subway (A to 190th St or 1 to Dyckman Street), so don't miss this special place in NYC.

We had an absolutely incredible experience visiting The Metropolitan Museum of Art yesterday!…read more If you are planning a visit soon, the museum is alive with some of the most spectacular collections and temporary exhibits it has hosted in years. The overall energy of the museum was fantastic--even though it was predictably bustling and crowded, the crowd was incredibly respectful, especially when everyone was taking photos/videos. Here is a breakdown of what made our visit so special, including a few insider tips you definitely need to know before you go... The Resident "Secret": Recommended Admission If you are a New York State resident, here is a massive tip that isn't highly advertised but is essential to know if you are bringing family and friends, or if you are simply in a "season of saving" while trying to enjoy the city: Pay-What-You-Wish: If you bring your New York State ID (or another valid form of ID proving NY residency, like a student ID or utility bill), admission is entirely recommended/pay-what-you-wish. Literally a Quarter: You can literally pay a single quarter ( or penny!) at the ticket counter to get in. It makes world-class art fully accessible, allowing you to do something deeply enriching and fun without breaking the bank. Exhibit Highlights From Our Visit The New Raphael Exhibit (Raphael: Sublime Poetry): We were absolutely blown away by the new, landmark Raphael exhibition currently on display. It is the first major international loan exhibition of his work in the U.S., and seeing his masterworks up close is a surreal experience. The genius of his linework, the harmony of his compositions, and the pure poetry of his paintings are completely mesmerizing. The Costume Art Exhibit: Taking place in the brand-new, massive Condé Nast Galleries, the Spring Costume Institute exhibit--Costume Art-- is an absolute must-see. Rather than just a historical timeline of fashion, it brilliantly pairs stunning couture garments side-by-side with classical fine art, sculptures, and paintings. It explores how fashion interacts with the human body as an art form itself. The Egyptian Wing & Hieroglyphics: As always, a trip to The Met isn't complete without visiting the Egyptian Art galleries. Walking through and seeing the incredibly detailed, ancient hieroglyphics up close, alongside the preserved coffins of the mummies, never fails to give you goosebumps. Knights in Armor: Another massive highlight of our day was walking through the Arms and Armor courts. Seeing the gleaming suits of armor, the historical weaponry, and the intricate craftsmanship of the medieval knights' gear feels like stepping directly backward through time. A Taste of France in NYC: If a trip to Europe isn't in your budget right now, The Met offers the perfect alternative. If you can't afford to fly to France, you can always visit the pools of the Versailles gardens right here in the museum. They have a stunning, meticulously detailed period room that serves as a beautiful duplicate of the historic French gardens and royal interiors. It is an exquisite, peaceful escape. Note on the Rooftop Garden: We actually had no idea until we arrived yesterday, but the iconic Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden is currently closed and will remain closed until Spring 2030. The museum has broken ground on its massive new Tang Wing for modern and contemporary art, meaning the roof is on a multi-year hiatus. Final Thoughts & Staff Shoutout: A huge shoutout goes to the incredible Met staff. The museum is a literal labyrinth, and whenever we had difficulty navigating or finding certain areas, the staff members were exceptionally gracious, helpful, and clear when directing us where to go. Between the world-class art, the helpful team, and the polite crowd, the entire museum just felt vibrant, welcoming, and filled with great energy. Whether you are a local or playing tourist for the day, it remains one of the best spots in New York City

By the time we left those lines were still just as long if not longer. There is so much to see here though! But it's super cool with so many good things to see and totally worth every bit of it! Hoping to take my kid here someday.

We were there the Saturday the day before Mother's Day - me, my husband, and two kids (6 yo, 18 mo). We sat inside because the weather was gross outside. We went back this past Saturday to take my parents who were in town and love going to wineries. The kids were with us. As we all know, this Memorial Day Weekend had awful weather. It was high 40s and raining sideways. We got there and the person (not sure if server or owner) said we were not allowed to sit inside with the kids. I asked how that could be given our experience to the exact opposite 2 weeks ago? I was informed that it said so on their website. But not to worry! We could sit outside in the frigid, rainy weather with an 18 mo old to eat. There were heaters after all - 8-10 ft above our heads. I checked out the website since apparently it said kids could only sit outside. When you navigate to "visit us" it has a picture of happy kids frolicking in the grapevines. Kids are welcome, enjoy a picnic, etc. etc. Buried within it says that the tasting room and veranda are reserved for adults, and that dogs are not permitted in the tasting room or veranda. So look, I get that some people want to go places and be in a kid-free bubble. I'm a whole adult outside of my kids and will happily go places that are kid-free so long as I have childcare. I'm also a respectful parent and if an establishment prohibits kids, I'm not going to try to take them there. For example, there is a winery near PNC that very explicitly states no children - on their website, on the signs in the parking lot, on signs at the entrance... so we didn't take the kids. But to say families and kids are welcome, to allow us to sit inside without ever mentioning that it was reserved for adults and this was an exception, and then to tell me while the dining room was 75% empty that my 18 mo old had to sit in cold and rainy weather because kids are inconvenient... Not great. Therefore, we didn't stay because I can find somewhere else to have good wine where people can make the empathetic decision to treat my kids like humans.
