Visited in November for my birthday and had such a great experience! The winery was so nicely decorated with wood and bright colored chairs. It felt very homey. We went to the back to do some wine tasting and you get 10 wines to taste! None of the ones I've visited gives that many choices. The lady who helped us was very social and attentive. She made the experience even better. We ended up buying glasses of wine. I think I got peach riesling but they were all good. We also purchased crackers, cheese, meats, and chips to have a little charcuterie set up. It's a bummer they don't offer it in a menu! Since we visited right before Thanksgiving we bought a bottle of Jersey Berry and it was a hit! I will definitely be back. read more

Such a fabulous, welcoming atmosphere exists at Cream Ridge winery. We went on Father's Day so they weren't doing tastings, but we got a couple glasses to enjoy on their enclosed patio. They have a few packaged snacks for sale, and you are also welcome to bring your own food. There was live music and a food truck, but the highlight was one of the owners (Jackie) who truly took the time to chat, learn our names and continue to check in while we were there. The Merlot was good and ordered 2 bottles of the cranberry Chardonnay for Thanksgiving. Nice indoor tasting area and indoor seating. Nice day for outdoor seating. Came after hurricane harbor, it's so close. It was towards closing time so didn't get to enjoy a wine tasting. Thanks to the lovely staff for letting us try a few so we could see which bottles to get. Got the Gewurztraminer to enjoy outside. It was delicious, sweet and well chilled. For to go got the Kiwine and Pinot Mojito. The Pinot mojito is so different! So good, chilled it right when I got home. They have the wine tasting room, an indoor patio and outdoor seating. I went here a Saturday afternoon with my wife and friends. We met Paul, Yardley, Odessa and Linda. All were very helpful and super nice. Paul was our server for a tasting. He helped my wife make her choices in wine. All the wines were very good. It was nice to see everyone behind the bar helping each other. After our tasting we sat on the enclosed porch which had tables that are old barrel tops. There was music playing in the background but it wasn't to loud that you couldn't have a conversation. I had a nice glass of Walnford and my wife had a flight of wines. We'll be back in the spring to try the spring wines. Keep up the good work CRW!! read more

After visiting the Grounds For Sculpture, which is about a half hour away, we wanted to find a winery to relax at on a beautiful June Saturday afternoon. Thanks to Yelp, I found Cream Ridge Winery. This small winery near Allentown, NJ was just what we were looking for. We had live music, Adirondack chairs, and a couple of bottles of chilled wine...what more could we ask for? My wife's favorite is Pinot Grigio so we chose their "Audrey" wine which was very good. If you're looking for a cool winery to relax at, check out this place. Stumbled by when I was looking for a good time after pear picking, really glad I did You first walk into their front lawn which has a really nice relaxing set up. Great for warm weather to hang out with friends! Then, walk in and ask if you can do a wine tasting. Totally worth it for $5 to taste 10 different wines. We came for the outdoor tailgate. Wow was it easy and inexpensive! $10 per person and you drive your car in and literally tailgate in a green grass area. Granted, the scenery is very basic...just a big plot of grass (not as pretty of a vineyard as others), but all you need is good wine and good company. You buy by the bottle so it is very inexpensive. This has been my absolute favorite winery since I first came here a few years ago. Everyone is super friendly, and always servicing their customers with a smile. I had the privilege of meeting the owner and his best friend one visit which they gave us a short tour of the wine room and shared some great stories. Onto the best part.. their wine! My absolute favorite would be Almond Berry and if you like coffee definitely try their Java Berry! Eastern White is great and they always offer new wines and a huge selection of fruit wines. Just like their newest flavor of Pinot Mojito which you have to try before they run out, you can taste the mint in it! Their tasting are just $5 with 10 different selections which is one of the best offerings compared to others. For a $1 you can keep your wine glass as well. The prices of their bottles are very reasonable! They also offer discounts based on how many bottles you buy starting at 6 bottles and on top of that offer military discount on bottle purchases too. Plenty of space outside to hang out, to include huge Jenga blocks and a small little library borrowing case. Overall, everything about this winery is great. Worth the visit everytime! read more

It's all about the amazing service and unique wines at Cream Ridge Winery. Cream Ridge may not be as large as some other wineries but what they lack in size they make up for in some of the most unique wines I've ever tasted. They had such an amazing selection of unique fruit wines and even a fruit/espresso wine that I made half my tastings from this part of their list. When we walked into the tasting room we were warmly greeted (even though it was pretty close to closing time) and offered a tasting menu. Red/white wines are tasted in the back room. Fruit wines in the front. You're given 10 chips to "spend" on whichever wines you want to try. Nobody really stuck to the just ten rule and we were offered pretty much the whole menu (although we didn't accept haha). Everyone was so incredibly nice at this place and very knowledgeable about the wines they were pouring. Definitely will be back to enjoy their outdoor area with some of their delicious fruit wines and will bring my pup next time. read more

Our experience could not have been better. First time here and I've been to a lot of wineries in NJ. I decided to send my birthday here and I had never been before. So glad that I did. They welcome dogs and children which are was really impt to us. Every group that came sat spaced out. The staff was so lovely and kind. There was live music, ample parking and a variety of wines. The wine tasting was a great deal 10 for $10 or you could just buy a bottle or glass. They had bathrooms inside which were very clean. Definitely recommend it here. read more

This is a top notch Central Jersey winery! I wish I had more time to actually spend a full day here. Stopping in with a friend today, we did a quick sweet wine tasting session. I had four complementary samples: Cherry, Cranberry, Almondberry and After Dinner Black Raspberry wine. Staff was welcoming and helpful, giving tips on the best selections based off of my request for sweets. They also have some neat gift ideas, including $3 Cream Ridge glasses and even honey. I walked away with a bottle of Cranberry (so good!!!) and the after dinner dessert wine, which comes in a small bottle. I've already told my boyfriend that we will be taking a trip up north to visit this winery! On this future day, we'll most definitely be getting a $5 glass of wine each and enjoying the beautiful landscapes from one of the cute tables around the vineyard. Cream Ridge is most definitely one of the best Jersey wineries I've had the pleasure to experience and I so can't wait to uncork the cranberry. read more

The manager made up rules based on her discretion but is actually not a part of the winery rules on the website. We are adults and her "made up" rule of taking someone else wine who brought it by accident and confiscating it was ridiculous when you can put it back in the car and leave it alone. If you're going to make up rules at the door then it would be wise to put it on the website because the reasons made absolutely no sense. You can see two attachments I have added. Beau and I were celebrating our 6th anniversary and decided to spend the day down south and wanted to come here after our visit to Grounds for Sculpture. The staff and owner were so amazingly friendly that we already cant wait to come back and visit. The winery is nicely decorated outside with a good amount of seating. Although the shop is small do not like that fool you; they have a great amount of selections to try. Their wine tasting is only $5 for 10 tastings. They have a great amount of whites and reds to try. There were so many great ones between both reds and whites. I really enjoyed the Sparkling Personality and their Almond Berry. It was hard to decide which bottles I wanted to take home since they were so many favorites. We had read reviews beforehand stating to bring some snacks which I was glad we did because we were able to see how good the wine paired with cheese and meats. And of course of cheese snacks came from Jersey City. If you are coming to the area definitely check out this little cute winery. They truly have so much to offer. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a winery since he had just turned 21 and it was a new experience. I am a huge wine fan, him not so much. Every staff member here was so helpful, explaining not only the wines but the process of the tasting and how everything worked. For $5 you can try 10 wines (and honestly, the employees gave me a handful of extras to try on top of that). After you find the wine you like, you can pay $5 for a full glass or purchase a bottle to share with friends and family. Their prices for bottles do not exceed $20 which I liked, and I noticed the wine tasted ten times better than what you would get in a liquor store. Niki at the fruit wine tasting bar was so kind and helpful!! I will definitely be returning here. What Cream Ridge Winery lacks in size, it makes up for in quality, satisfaction and great business! My boyfriend and I set out here on a sunny Friday afternoon. When we arrived we were greeted by three very friendly workers and then each did a wine tasting. For $5 we tried maybe 13 wines each. The older woman helping us out was so sweet and informative. With many great tasting wines we narrowed it down to purchase two bottles each at quite decent prices (15-19$). In the sweeter varieties we enjoyed: Catawba (blush), Jersey Berry (Cranberry Chardonnay), Almond Berry (Raspberry White Niagara white) and Chambourcin to save for a grilled steak dinner. We opened the Catawba and enjoyed our mini picnic we brought along out front where they have plentiful seating. There is a space that is shaded from the sun which is helpful. This small place is a hidden gem and we will be back in the summer to try some more. Happy to give an establishment like this our business! read more

Cream Ridge Winery was a very busy place on the mid-afternoon Saturday that we visited. Although a bustling environment inside the people working there were very nice and did their best to accommodate the large number of people waiting for tastings. You don't get much but for $5 you do get to sample 6 wines. We did the dry reds which were similar to others we have had in NJ. Outside they had music and a limited number of tables and chairs and so we were glad to have portable chairs in our car. Didn't buy any bottles but were tempted. Maybe on our next visit. read more
