Perhaps good for purchases, but were VERY disappointed with a vacation property we rented through…read morethem. Truthfully, I'm torn about the fault of the realtor here, but here's my logic: 1) Place was disgustingly (and evidently) unclean; I vacuumed when I arrived. 2) Place was sort of falling apart; bathroom floor tile was coming up around toilet (gross), holes in screens, mildew on bathroom ceiling; called realtor to let them know to not lose security deposit 3) Realtor didn't seem to care at all when we 'checked-out' and were pretty clear that the place was a disappointment. Realtor responsibilities that would have avoided this circumstance: 1) Tell owner to clean it - hey, here's the number of a cleaning service we recommend and it MUST BE cleaned before the renters get in. 2) View property before listing it - then you might say to owner, hey, dude, some of this stuff really needs to be fixed before we will offer it to our clients 3) Look for feedback? An obvious statement of discontent by the renters should trigger some inquiry. Once we were provided no venue to feedback (not even a simple: "How was you vacation?"), my thought changed from "I will never rent THAT HOUSE again", to "I will never do business with THAT REALTOR again". When our beach house grill missed the mark, the team at Meadow Marsh stepped in to help out like a good neighbor. When we accidentally left something behind at our property 'post' check-out, the team at Meadow Marsh helped us get things situated such that our property could be shipped off overnight while we were heading off to Logan Airport to catch our flight ! Meadow Marsh is 1st Class all around !

Howzer Property Management - The floors were kept so nice (I didn't want to polish the floors I'll tell you that!). Oh there's the cat!

I would say this is "reliable property management - even from afar"…read more As a California resident, it was critical for me to find a trustworthy team to manage my quad-plex property in Quincy, Massachusetts. My experience with Howzer has been quite positive, and I find their services to be dependable. (Phew.) One standout individual from the team was Cyn, who provided exceptional support during a period of anxiety about securing good tenants for the three vacant units. She not only eased my concerns but also successfully found excellent tenants--one of whom has even developed a friendship with my cousin, who lives in the other unit. The only minor issue I've encountered--an occasional visit from a neighborhood cat on our porch (as seen in the attached picture)--is clearly beyond Howzer's control. This slight inconvenience did make me think about lowering the rating, but upon reflection, it seems unfair to hold them accountable for this. So: if you're searching for someone to effectively balance proficiency with a genuine care for clients--even from a distance--Howzer Property Management gets my vote. (I've used a couple companies in California and those don't compare; I don't mean this as an insult but the customer service at Howzer made me feel like I slipped back in time and got very high touch customer service at Nordstrom's in the 1980's.)

She shows no partiality for any owner or unit. 5- Our Board of Trustees are all unit owners too... Having an Association Manager, allows us peace of mind and more free time, knowing Tina is the first point of contact to handle issues & emergencies, to resolve conflicts, and to enforce the rules. I highly recommend SouthCape Associates!
