I am new to town, and for the only pub in town, at least that I know of, this place is pretty chill. Coming from LA, this part of 'downtown' is walking distance (even if you do not walk much; yes, it is that small). Parking was easy. The only thing is, if you don't order over $10, they don't accept credit card. Hence, make sure you bring cash if you do not order over $10. The music here is awesome! I just love the music here! If only they had a dance floor... I was really close to just dancing without one! Pretty nice place to chill and just kick it with some buddies. read more

Absolutely love this place. The bartenders are always attentive and sweet. I've met up with several different groups of friends and have always had a great time. I love their peach margaritas and burgers. I only drink margaritas and tequila so I don't know about the beer. I love hopper's food but I HATE their ranch!!!! The buffalo chicken wrap is amazing but you really need a good ranch to drizzle on it!!! It spicy so it's necessary to calm the spice!!! Alot of nights we will go else where for better sauces! But I love the atmosphere and the food is great!!! Just wish Hoppers would venture out and try better ranches!!! Just in town for a few day, and having never been here before, I trusted Yelp to guide the way. Being here alone, I was looking for a late bite and a beer, but without feeling like the outsider amongst a crowd of locals. The bar staff here is truly awesome! They treated me as if I had been coming there for years, and one of them being from near my home town, sparked great conversation. The food was great, and the beer selection was amazing. Went 3 consecutive days, prior to departing the area. Wish I would have gravitated toward this fine establishment sooner. The food is on point, as far as their chicken sandwiches, burgers, and wings which is all I managed to taste. Food is made to order as far as I am concerned, it was always hot and fresh tasting. What's not to say about the beer, 66 on tap and for great prices per pint. Definitely a place I would visit again, regularly, if I were to be back in the area. read more

Hoppers Pub has been a well deserved addition to our community. And what seemed to be only a bar has now become a nice establishment to even eat at for lunch. The food is pretty delicious. Would definitely recommend the buffalo chicken wrap or changing that from a buffalo into the honey mustard chicken wrap. They have awesome little incentives to try more beer. Ask them about the 66 beers incentive card. My only complaint would be how packed it gets in there. I hope to see some expansion because this place is a great hang out spot. Best burgers in the area and rank up there with some of the best burgers I've ever had. They have 66 beers on tap with a little something for everybody and it is fun to play the challenge to drink them all if you are a beer guy. The only knock I would give it is the size and it is very hard to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night. Service is subpar and hit or miss depending on who you get. They also hold tables which is good and bad. We went on a Friday and a party had reserved about 20 seats and showed up literally on the 59th minute. I could have ate, drank and been out by then making the place and the waitress even more money. Those are the only reasons I don't give it 5 stars. read more

Great pub. Beautiful wood work, awesome bar food, and 66 beers on tap. If you like pub style reasurants, then this is a place to stop. That is, as long as you stop in before 9 pm. At 9, they have a terrible "dj" come in and plug his iPad into the house sound system. He plays music that is just as bad as his taste in clothes. It turns this "Historic Route 66 Pub" into just another awful dance club. It's not just one night a week that this blasphemy happens, it's every night that it's open. If shitty club music is your thing, then good for you. It's just a shame to see it in this setting. Three stars for the food and decore. -2 stars for the dj. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's right in the heart of the town and the atmosphere is great. There's not to many places where you can go with a friend to grab a beer out here. You walk in your get a smile not only from the bartenders but the owners are always in checking to make sure customers are happy. The selection of beer is great for every taste and the wheel is fun! Drink all 66 (hopefully not in one sitting) get your name on a plaque thing and a freakin t shirt. You really only see places like this on food network and were lucky enough to have one in our town! I'm to old for trinity and they're young gi's military shake your booty contests I love trivia night here it gets us out of the house. This is the only real bar anywhere near St Robert. They have 66 beers on tap, the bar tenders and servers are awesome. The best part about this place is it is not flooding with boots from fort Leonardwood. It's awesome quite and has its regulars. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was awesome. After visiting Hoppers three times over the last nine months I can say that the experience has gotten slightly better each time, but not by much. The decor is probably the best out of all the restaurants in the area. There is plenty of seating to include the bar, tables and nice booths. Large parties seem to be welcomed. There are 66 beers on tap, which have gotten colder on each visit, making me feel like the owner may actually be reading the reviews. Now onto food and service, both being mediocre or just terrible. Their menu is limited to frozen, precooked garbage for the most part. The jam burger isn't bad, but the fries are the disgusting, cheap crinkle type. The menu could use some nachos, sandwich options, dips and fresh, house made items. Do not go to this place expecting a quality meal, you will leave disappointed. The service is terrible. If you are a group of military men or know the owner you'll be taken care of. If not, you'll have three different people wait on you, sit with an empty glass, never be asked if you would like to order dinner and have appetizers brought to you with no plates, having to eat off of napkins. If looking to have a few drinks with friends, this would be a good place to go. If looking for something to eat, save yourself the stomachache and go somewhere else. I like to give restaurants a few tries before I post a bad review and Hoppers just never gave good service or a good experience. read more

My mom and I dined here for lunch. Jam burger is fantastic and the fries are crinkle cut. I have a soft spot for crinkle cut fries and was pleasantly surprised to get them. Hoppers has a ton of beers on tap and I don't mean just loads of the standard plain beers. They have a good selection of beers from all across the spectrum as well as a couple ciders. The best part is that they are about $4-5/pint, which is totally reasonable in my book. The service was good. Our server made some key recommendations. The place has the atmosphere of a sports bar. Went to Hoppers tonight, third time I've been there, the other two times was with a large group and a guy in the group was dating a bartender... Tonight, was a small group and no one in it is dating the staff, the wait staff wasn't attentive my drink sat empty for more than 15 minutes more than once and they weren't that busy the second or third time! The DJ was taking request but didn't play either song I requested and there wasn't a long list of requests, would have been acceptable if the songs he was playing we're influencing dancing but that wasn't the case. Waitress apparently only knew how to say "your food is almost done" and really had no interest in getting us refills. At $4 per beer, you think she would have at least been on top of that.
