Honey Greens has been one of my favorite matcha spots for a while now, so I decided to branch out and try a few other things on my last visit. I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte with Sweet Cream Cloud Foam through the app -- paid about $8.50. It was too much on the sweet side but honestly, the sweetness was on me since I added the cloud foam, but the drink itself was about a 6/10. My order was ready when I arrived, and the girl who greeted me was genuinely sweet and welcoming. On my way out, their pastry display caught my eye and I went back to grab a Matcha Pistachio Croissant ($7.50). A different person took my order and she seemed a little bothered when I came back to order, which was a bit off-putting. The croissant itself was disappointing -- it didn't taste fresh, and this was only about 30 minutes after opening. For $7.50, I expected a lot more, especially compared to other spots serving matcha pistachio croissants that are both tastier and more affordable. The shop was nice and clean and it has plenty of seating. That said, their matcha is still easily in my top 3 -- that part never disappoints. This place was POPPIN'. The line was out the door when we got there and stayed that way the entire time. Not sure if it was New Year's Day or if this is just Honey Greens behavior, but wow. I ordered the gingerbread cookie butter iced latte with oat milk and added the vanilla bean cold foam for an extra $2 (plus a Grinch picture because obviously). The drink was delicious. The cold foam was THICK thick - I had to stir it a bit so the coffee could breathe - but once mixed? Chef's kiss. Sweet, cozy, and worth the sugar rush. My boyfriend got the sugar cookie iced latte, and his review was: "magically delicious." He doesn't even like sugar cookies, so that says a lot. Also, apparently it's caffeinated enough to wake the dead. The interior is really cute, but because it was so packed, it was loud loud. Like everyone yapping at once. The cold foam with the holiday designs were what drew me in. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. It's a very small shop so prepare to feel a little cramped on a busy day. It was nicely decorated, for the Christmas season. The menu was a little overwhelming, but it had a decent variety to choose from. I got the Spanish latte with vanilla cold foam with coconut milk first. It was a pretty drink but the taste was not it. The coconut milk was not sweetened and it tasted more savory. On top of that, there was 2 fibers of lint that appeared like strands of hair in my drink. I returned it and they remade it with regular milk, but it still wasn't that great. I've been to Honey Greens Café twice already and will continue to come back. My favorite so far has been the Honey Vanilla Cinnamon latte hands down! My experiences has been be prepared to wait, but worth the wait. There are a few indoor tables and chairs inside but can get crowded very quickly with the line growing. They're quick to take your order but there's a couple of workers and they are trying to get orders out quick but it's a small location and they're doing their best. Like I said, worth the wait! I want to try the avocado toast which I heard is popular. The drinks are made well. I was recommended to come here to get a matcha drink after work!! I needed a pick-me-up in the afternoon, so matcha sounded great.. After looking at the menu, I ended up getting the matcha creme brulee with coconut milk, and added a special to have a foam design ontop for additional cost. It was pretty good!! I think it tasted weird at first sipping it from the top, but that was just due to the foam I think ontop being separated from the rest of the drink. Updating my review from before. The drinks are way too expensive for the size. My hand is average size and look how tiny the drink is for $9 or $12 if you get a design. I asked them why is the cup size so tiny and they said cuz I ordered no ice. So if you get a drink here, know this is all you're getting. I originally came here for their 4th of July Lana Del Rey drink (which lives rent-free in my head), and now they have a Christmas menu that is actually cute and festive, not corny.
