Horizon cafe's busy kitchen - Look at all of those eggs!

Horizon Bagels is very clean and bright, and there is a good amount of comfortably spaced seating for dine in, savoring your food and drink. We, like many others, ordered take out, but quite a few were dining in. The ordering was efficient, friendly, and 100% accurate even with 4 similar but different orders. We took two breakfast sandwiches: bacon, egg and cheese, one with cheddar cheese and green chile cheese bagel and one with pepper jack cheese and everything bagel. We loved both of them, and they are quite large. We were tempted to order the special on offer: Denver omelet on a bagel (peppers, onions, etc,), but that will be for next time. Everything is made to order and you can watch the large prep and cooking area while you wait. We also ordered two blueberry bagels, one with regular cream cheese and one with the special cream cheese which was lemon blueberry. Again, both very good, and the bagels were delicious. They also offer many different coffee drinks, and our cappuccino was tasty. Last, we took four bagels and some cream cheese to go. On this day vs yesterday,, order at two other coffee/bagel places, Horizon was 2-3 times faster. Horizon's service and wait time from order to delivery was less than ten minutes. We know this because we went to Horizon on Monday, but they are closed on Monday, so we had to resort to other places.

Stopped here while passing through Albuquerque on our way to Colorado and yeah this is a good bagel. I can confidently say we don't have anything like this in San Antonio TX where im from. I love that they put a very good amount of schmear on the bagel for you (none of that ridiculous little container of schmear on the side my goodness I hate that so much). Not much more to say about this. The bagel is a fantastic bagel and the schmear is the best I've had in months. It did take a good amount of time to actually get the bagel (a to go order), maybe 20 minutes. Mostly because of the line.

My best friend always gets bagels from here and I'd never been. There at so many options and delicious flavors of bagels. I got a rosemary Parmesan and a biscochito flavor to try it out. There was a bit of a wait but it was good! I want to come try other things that they have as well.

Snow in April demands matzo ball soup. Enter: Horizon Bagels & Cafe. With two lacrosse ball-sized matzo balls per serving, I was left a very happy, first-time customer. Broth is clear, savory, and just the right amount of salty. Plenty chunks of chicken, carrot, and celery. $13 for 32oz, and it warmed up nicely in the microwave at home. Will return to try their breakfast burrito and NM special - the red chile bagel with green chile cream cheese!

Good bagels in a comfy space - fresh roses in vases on the tables, nice amount of seating and mellow music playing. Service was attentive. They had a good selection of baked sweets. Bagel sandwich that I had was tasty and made with quality ingredients. Serve-yourself water cups on the counter and bus-yourself afterward (with staffers hustling around cleaning up anyway). Complimentary WiFi. Good place: absolutely worth a visit.

    - Denver breakfast sandwich on green chile cheddar bagel - "New Mexico Special" - red chile bagel + green chile cream cheese
    Aubrey C.

Stopped by for a Saturday morning breakfast and we were not disappointed! Got the "New Mexico special" (red chile bagel with green chile cream cheese) and a specialty breakfast sandwich - the Denver (eggs, onions, bell peppers, ham, and cheese) on a green chile cheddar bagel. Everything was great! The breakfast sandwich was hot and tasty, and both bagels were toasted to perfection but perfectly soft on the inside. We agreed that our favorite was the red chile bagel, but would get both again! Got a baker's dozen bagels to go. Very kind staff, quick service, clean place and clean restroom. Check them out!

Great place! Order at the counter, sit and they bring your food and coffee. Bagels were fresh and the pastries were really good too. Coffee is ok, food is definitely much better!

These bagels are so good!! I love a classic everything bagel, and it was so yummy with a solid slathering of cream cheese. They've got great flavored cream cheese offerings, and also a selection of different espresso drinks. Service was quick, and there's indoor seating if you're wanting to relax and enjoy your breakfast.

Came here over the weekend and it was plenty busy. For good reason! Plenty of choices to choose from. Their house viewed coffee was good quality. They have a very efficient system which doesn't have you wait in line for too long. There is plenty of seating and a couple of tables outside so you can bring your dog. Today's special was a red chili bagel with green chili cream cheese.

Great local Cafe that makes thee best bagels! Stopped by to a breakfast sandwich. It was light, flavorful and checked all the boxes. The staff was friendly. It started to get busy but they stayed on top of the order and drinks. They offer custom lattes and cappuccino and also make prepackaged home made schmears.

Always the best !!! Such a great selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and baked goods!

Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

After being seated, our party of four waited a long while before someone popped her head into our seating area to direct our attention towards the menus. The Tearoom offers a curated three-course tea as well as a lengthy menu of options to substitute from. We all said we'd like the curated tea and some water, but the staff person said she'd come back in a while after we had some time to look at the menu. Hmmm. Another ten minutes passed before a different staff person returned with glasses of water. She listened when we repeated that we'd like the menu on offer and returned with the first pot of tea. After a while she brought the first course of a scone and savory strata. The scone was dry. Meh. The strata, though, was tender and flavorful. Then came the second course of tea sandwiches. My, my, meh. A slice of mass-market white bread with butter and cucumber slices. A slice of mass-market wheat with something pasty, sprinkled with what seemed like garlic sesame bagel topping. If there was a third savory, I don't remember it. The tea with this course tasted exactly like Harney & Sons Paris blend. Desserts were a mini chocolate and toffee trifle, a brownie-like confection, and a red velvet mini Bundt cake. Meh. The tea for this course was a basic rooibos blend. But maybe I was already over it when this course was served. It was many minutes before staff appeared to ask if we'd need anything further, like boxes.
