Food Went for lunch and ordered the Magnifica a Sandwich that is tasty but very expensive 16.95!!! With drink and chips total for lunch 24. Ummm I have visited this spot for a few years and have seen the prices go up and up. Buyer beware just know you are gonna pay a price for lunch downtown. They do give free refills for fountain drinks I felt I had to refill a couple of times to get monies worth lol. Service is exceptional the staff is so so friendly. Ambiance tables and chairs nothing fancy. Overall Food is very good however 4 stars as this place to expensive for just a sandwich. read more

Well this place sure did turn my day around. I had to fill paperwork down town, through two different court systems- needless to say I was in a foul mood. Between walking back and forth between buildings, I noticed a long line outside of Roma's. I decided on my way back to my car to stop and see what all the fuss was about. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the nicest man and we exchanged pleasantries. I decided on the breakfast burrito "lite" carne adovada. It was huge! I cannot imagine what the regular burrito would entail. It was delicious, warmed my belly and cold heart. While I was there I noticed a customer saying good by and giving hugs to all the staff. It's the same menu since the beginning, which is both good and bad. Same delicious sandwiches, bakery treats, to-die-for bread, amazing chocolate chip cookies and the lobster bisque. That said, having a new item in the menu seasonally wouldn't hurt. The service has always and continues to be 5-star. Oscar is just lovely and treats you like family, whether it's your first time in or 1000th time in. read more

All around an amazing experience! The atmosphere was so welcoming and intimate along every wall is beautiful artwork. I walked around the entire restaurant and restroom, I'd have to say it is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been too. My coffee was just what I needed to get my morning going. Our breakfast burritos were the best in town! The empanada's were so delicious they were crispy yet soft and the filling were great it wasn't too sugary. Oh let's not forget about their top tier homemade chocolate chip cookies, these cookies were so heartwarming to me(they reminded me of home). Wonderful! They make their own croissants, which is reason enough to search this place out, but we also purchased an Almond Chicken Salad sandwich that's served on their homemade croissant which was still flaky on top. Big chunks of white breast meat with a hint of dill. It was very good. The picture is of my half of the sandwich and without the large slices of tomatoes, which went into my husband's half. Sometimes the customer service drives the taste of the food and that's exactly what happened when I stepped foot into this deli. The owners made the experience, it just so happened that their food was delicious too! We got the NM sandwich and a deconstructed burrito. The sandwich was delicious and definitely lived up to its name. I was being very picky with the burrito and not once did they bat an eye, instead gave me more options on how to customize it! When I told them I wanted to skip the bacon, one of the owners asked if they could give it to my dog because he looked hungry. After saying yes, she proceeded to take the time to feed him and play with him. I felt like I walked into my Tio's and Tia's house, maybe an even nicer environment. Haha! read more

The owner is a really nice guy and I can sense his passion for his business, food, and customer service. Staying two blocks away in a Local hotel. Ordered the breakfast burrito combo special (a super deal at $7.15 including coffee). Egg, potato and I asked for the Carne Adovada. They state that they cook with no salt and they hold true to that statement, so just be aware and salt your food first if you're salty like me. Stew had beef, tomatoes, and potatoes and of course green chile. It was pipping hot which was nice a on a chilly(pun intended) rainy day. It was spicy!!! I'm a big wimp when it comes to spice level and it had my nose running! It was pretty run of the mill. Not bad but I probably wouldn't order again because it was too hot for my poor burning lips. Just make sure you enjoy spice. It was clean and wasn't too busy. I'll go back and try a sandwich next time. The chicken salad croissant is probably more my speed. read more

Each was packed with flavor and hefty sized pieces of chicken-but sadly there was more bread than filling. Sandwich served with cookie for $11. The baked goods were bland and a bit dry, out of the 3 we had none were impressive. Also ordered the magnifica and the bread/sandwich contents looked DELICIOUS. I would definitely order this again if visiting the store! Purchased a chocolate croissant for $3.50 that was a disappointment. Pastry itself was flaky and buttery but only contained a quarter sized amount of chocolate inside. Overall opinion was the food was good put overpriced for what you got and it was disappointing. read more

This place is always so good. Hadn't been here in awhile but got a craving for this specific deli because, well, it's tasty. My go to is the Florentine sandwich - always tastes fresh and is always filling. Their soups are also good. Basically any cookie or pastry you have here will be yummy especially when you're lucky enough to get one fresh from the oven. Owner is also an amazingly kind and welcoming man.
