He suggested we wait in the hall until the previews were almost over since he explained that he could only turn down the volume so far. The young man taking the tickets did tell us that he would lower the volume of the previews, and he did his best. We went in when there was only about 3 minutes left of the previews before showtime. The volume was tolerable. We really enjoy coming to the Fallston theater since we drive all the way from Towson to do so. The price is so reasonable, especially on Tuesday when they offer the $7.00 ticket special all day for everyone and the seats are reclining and heated. You can order tickets online and reserve your seat ahead of time. Today, we came to see You, Me and Tuscany. It was a delightful movie with a great story line, good casting, and fabulous Italian scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the movies!

The workers are nice and are open to any questions. Popcorn itself was delicious. There is a counter to pour butter on your popcorn. A drink machine, napkins, lids, straws are all there. Before heading into the theater, there's a seating area with tables if you want to sit for a bit. To the left, there is a bar but I haven't tried that part yet ! Once movie started at correct time we noticed people coming in about 15-30 minutes after and the late people demanded the manager to restart the movie.... So about 30 minutes into the movie we already started, he started it over for them vs them just coming to a different time. Inconveniencing the people that actually arrived on time.... They did give us a gift card for the inconvenience so everything was handled but I just feel like since it was a new movie with so many show times they could of just been moved to the next showing since some people are running on a time limit.

I wouldn't go to see (for example) a drama or romance movie. Here are my pros and cons of my experience at the theater. IMAX THEATRE. We saw the Odyssey premiere and the experience was excellent. Highly recommended for the extra price. The visual and sound effects were incredible. The seating was very comfortable too. Unlike the past, all the theater patrons are very quiet and well behaved. MOVIE PREVIEWS AND ADVERTISING: This is one of the reasons I don't go to the theater regularly. They make you sit there and watch 30 minutes of advertisements and previews before your movie actually starts. Very frustrating. CONSESSIONS: The new kiosk / checkout system is much better than the old days of waiting on the ridiculous lines. You pre-pay your order and pick it up within minutes which is so much better. The downfall is the prices are absolutely outrageous. Like attending a professional sports venue. I figure they have to make money somehow. We bought a popcorn and one soda and it was $22. Totally absurd. Next time I'm going to avoid the concessions. RESTROOMS: They were sufficient, but they could use a little extra maintenance and cleaning. I went to a mid-day movie time during the work week so it was not crowded at all. I decided not to buy my tickets until I arrived due to the service fee of $3 and knowing I didn't have to worry about it getting sold out or not having seats that I would like. That's the number one change here that I appreciate and that's the selection of the seat. The main reason I cannot give this theater 5 stars is because while the seats function well the "leather" is severely damaged (at least they were in #5 theater). I also prefer the stadium seating though the recline of the seats do help to limit the seats in front of your row being in view. The bathroom was pretty clean and immediately after the show ended the staff was cleaning; not much since was only 4 people in my movie showing. Overall a good local theater that provides everything one would expect.

For $13.95 with no tax, the experience is a steal and I highly recommend to see whatever Hollywood movie they are playing.

We recently watched "Avengers:Endgame" here and here's what I think: PROS: 1) Ticket price is way cheaper than Imax tickets at AMC, or comparable formats at Cinemark, Landmark, etc. 2) It boasts of having the largest screen, and it really is. Very impressive. 3) It's at Inner Harbor, so there are lots of things to see and do before and after screening. 4) We went on a Sunday, and there was a concession stand with popcorn and drinks and other stuff, not much, but at least. CONS: 1) I wasn't impressed by the sound. They said it was surround, but it wasn't. Plus, you can hear other people's laughter more than the movie audio, very distracting. 2) There is no Wi-Fi at the Maryland Science Center where this is located. Which is surprisingly disappointing for an educational site. 3) There are no reserved seating so if you want to get the best seats, be prepared to line up early. For us, since it was the Avengers opening weekend, we lined up an hour before. The place was full. 4) The seats don't recline, they don't even swing back, they are fixed. 5) Others may find parking a problem if you don't come in early. So, to sum up, would I go again to this place? Yes, I might. It depends on what's showing. For me, the best movie experience is still the Dolby theaters at AMC with the clear visuals and moving audio: the screen is not that big but you get recliner seats and reserved seating. It just costs a lot more.
