The line got general admission was ridiculous. The line to express access was better but still pretty long. Instant access allows you to skip the line and go straight to the entrance of the haunted house. The music was too loud to hear the instructions but I guess the gist is, don't run and don't touch the actors. I loved the design and themes of most rooms. Some left a little to be desired. I do wish there were a little more actors and better system of separating the parties. There were quite a few times we were able to see ahead so we knew what was coming. My favorite times were any moment where the actors interacted with the guests, like when we were chased. After the haunted house, you're able to buy merch and take photos. Although we didn't do the escape room, I liked that there was an option to do so this adding to the whole Halloween experience. All in all, I enjoyed my time at the House of Horror. While there could be some improvements with setup, I would still recommend it for others wanting to check out a local haunted house.

There are sensors in the game that tells you when you get too close to someone else but I do question the accuracy. Cool part too is if you just watching, you can see what they're seeing as well as them wandering around the floor. they also provide stats of your game and it gets emailed. Lost a star because while we were playing, there was one worker who must've been talking on the phone or to someone else that we could hear on our game headset. Which distracted from the game. we don't want to hear your side convos. Also I think a different worker was legit yelling at us and called us dumb for not understanding where to go next. That's pretty rude when the arrow lines aren't obvious jn some points of the game. We were in a group of intermediate and beginner gamers. Dont have to yell at us. We also reserved this time about a month in advance, and one of the VRs was broken, so we had to break our group into two different sessions. Tip - bring socks with a sticky grip bottom! My Line Sisters and I wanted to come up with a unique way to celebrate our anniversary. We had done the usual dinner and movie, sip & paint, wine tastings, and restaurant hopping. To commemorate this year, we decided to go with TMMC and it was the best choice we could have made. We booked a private event with them. We had the opportunity to select our mystery based on the number of participants. We opted to do a one actor mystery centering around a masquerade ball. The actor arrived early to our private venue with such a fun and positive attitude. He took the time to understand our dynamics which was helpful in designating who would play which roles. We were provided props that included costumes and information about the role we were chosen to play. Please note, we are a chatty, free spirited group of ladies that love to fellowship. The actor managed to go with the flow and keep us somewhat focused and on mission...which was to solve the murder. We had a five-star good time. We all left with plans to do it again. Inside the room, there was an Alexa that we could use to play any music we wanted during our session, and plenty of different tools for us to smash things with. The staff were friendly and helpful, and happily took some pictures of us after our session. We also quickly received our smash session video by email after the session ended. Definitely a fun and different way to relieve some stress and have some fun!!
