As a patient she not only treats YOU, she CARES for YOU as a (human being) person. The staff is fulll of All-Stars as well. Kristie (front desk) and Kayla (technician) were very helpful, professional and polite. They both had remarkable communication skills and super sense of humor. They make going for an eye exam enjoyable and entertaining. On a scale of 1-10 they're an (11.5) eleven and a half at least!!

The staff was busy, as many medical practices are, but I was never greeted or asked what brought me in, what concerns I was having. The technician never made eye contact (which is ironic, given she does eye exams), or showed any interest in learning why I was there. The doctor was in a hurry and spent maybe five minutes with me, and was so impersonal I feel certain if I passed him in the grocery store he'd have no memory of ever seeing me before. But worst of all, he left out a key measurement on my prescription, and it took multiple phone calls from myself and my optician to get a corrected one. My phone calls and the optician's calls were never returned. Eventually, after a week, I had to return to the office and ask for a correct one, only to be confronted with the most surly employee I have ever dealt with, who very begrudgingly printed out the corrected prescription.

The earliest appointment available was approximately six weeks away, and my parents had to drive an hour to get there. The appointment was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. I arrived at 11:23 a.m. and informed the front desk that my mother was still on her way and would likely arrive about 10 minutes late. I also explained that, because of her disability, she needed additional time to walk from the parking area and take the elevator to the second floor. I specifically asked whether she could still be seen, and I was told that as long as she arrived by 11:45 a.m., it would not be a problem. The staff provided me with a tablet to begin completing her paperwork. While I was finishing it, my mother arrived. I briefly stepped outside to direct her where to go and left the tablet on the table. When I returned, the staff had already taken the tablet and informed me that the doctor would not see her, despite the fact that it was only 11:44 a.m. and she was literally walking into the office. After I explained the situation, one staff member indicated they would try to work her into the schedule, while another said the doctor had refused and that we would need to reschedule. We then spent another 10-15 minutes discussing the issue, during which time the appointment could likely have already begun. What is most frustrating is that I was initially told she would be seen if she arrived by 11:45 a.m., yet that commitment was not honored. Had I been told from the beginning that there was absolutely no flexibility, I could have made other arrangements or sought care elsewhere. My mother has a serious eye condition and now faces further delays in receiving treatment. Given her disability, age, and the effort required to attend the appointment, I expected a greater degree of understanding and accommodation. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling that her circumstances were not taken into consideration.
