I brought my 2018 Audi S5 to Mike and his team because they had great reviews here and after calling him it was clear he was very experienced with the camera calibration process required on newer cars (which I learned needs to be done when the windshield is replaced). Every other shop I called said they wouldn't do the calibration or that "it'd be fine." Mike accepted my Geico request immediately and we made an appointment to bring the car in. They replaced the glass quickly, though the camera calibration process gave them trouble. He explained to me that my car's software wasn't cooperating with his calibration system but said that he'd continue to work on it. After a couple days and doing more research on his end, he told me he wouldn't be able to calibrate the camera, but then he did something that most other shops wouldn't do. He had one of his employees take my car to the Audi dealership and had them reset and calibrate the camera system, at no cost to me. Additionally, during the re-installation of the windshield, a small plastic trim piece was cracked. Things happen, especially with the small plastic clips that hold those pieces in. Mike made me aware, ordered the part immediately, and sent his employees to my house to replace the part once it came in so that I wouldn't need to drive over again. Called my insurance company on 4/24/24 to have a chip filled. I chose this company due to reviews and wanting to support local a business. Today is now 5/3/24 and I have not heard anything from Horizon Glass. Unfortunately my chip has now turned into a crack across the windshield and we will need a replacement. read more

I had my side wing window popped out by a protester. When I called other places, they wouldn't do anything for me as I already had the glass and was actually told they wouldn't make any money helping me as they make money selling the glass. When I talked to Mike, he told me to bring it on down to the shop and someone would put it in for me. Norm did a great job, was a very cordial and likable guy chatting while he put in the window and then said it was done FOR FREE! Pretty cool. I highly recommend Horizon Glass. BEST SERVICE EVER! I had heard of this place from a coworker who advised they were amazing. I reviewed a view alternatives and requested a quote via fax for efficiency. I received a quote right back at unbeatable rates via fax, as requested. When I called to follow up today on this quote from yesterday I was greeted by a kindly gentleman, Mike, who confirmed who I was and advised he could come out TODAY between 11-1pm. First & foremost I would like thank Horizon Glass Inc. for their prompt service & knowledge of their profession. I had my windshield replaced by another company called First American Auto Glass of Lincoln. They showed up late to the appointment in an unmarked vehicle, never introduced themselves & did a horrendous job replacing my windshield ; it had air leaks & they scratched my car in numerous places. When I called them to let them know about the air leaks I was told I needed to call back after 3pm to talk with the "warranty department." We set up an appointment for the next day, the tech never showed or called, I called the owner 2 hours after the scheduled appointment he told me "I cannot get ahold of my tech, I will call you when I do." by this time it's 5:30pm. No one ever showed up, they never called me back nor did they answer my calls or text messages. I was referred to Horizon Glass Inc. I called spoke with Mike, I told him my story; not only did he come out the same day & fix someone else's problem, he called & spoke with the owner of First American Auto Glass of Lincoln & had him agree to pay for the service's being done by Mike.
