We love Stapleton Peds! Dr. Brandon is our primary. As a pediatric RD it was important for me to find a pediatrician that supported breastfeeding and was knowledgeable about nutrition. Not only was Dr. Brandon up to date on healthy feeding practices, he also recommended an amazing lactation consultant that came to our house. He makes us feel good about the health decisions we are making and encourages us to ask questions when we feel somethings off. He has great bedside manner and explains the "what's and why's" which is very helpful to us as new parents (especially for my husband). We have also seen Jordan, PA-C and his nurse Megan who were amazing and got us through our first ear infection. They both called to check on us over a holiday weekend and answered questions we had about additional problems that arose from the antibiotics. We felt supported and knew our baby was in great hands. I totally agree with the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." We're so glad Stapleton Peds is part of our village! read more

I have to fire Colorado Kids Pediatrics. My son has had iron deficiency anemia for *three years* and they never wondered why it wasn't getting better, even after oral supplementation. He's a super compliant kid, too - he took the pills. I was the one who had to ask for a hematology referral because they didn't ask themselves why an otherwise healthy BOY (not menstruating) would be iron deficient. He also had an elevated liver enzyme lab in February. There was no recommendation for follow up, so again, I had to have them order a repeat test to see if there was a trend. It took *6 phone calls* for them to put the order in correctly. The lab resulted with another elevated ALT. This is a meaningful indicator that he could have NAFLD, a totally treatable liver condition...if it's recognized. You bet your bottom I'm not going to follow up with Colorado Kids Pediatrics. I'd just have to tell them what the next steps are and what labs to put in. I'm so mad; why aren't they able to do their job? If I wasn't a provider myself, he wouldn't be getting appropriate treatment for his iron deficiency and the elevated ALT would have gone unnoticed. read more

It's not a bad doctors office. But it's definitely not the best care either. If your child has no sickness. You won't have any issues. But if your child has a more serious issue. I don't really think they care. Or they don't want to handle it. Our child had a serious respiratory illness. To be seen, they gave me lot of push back. As a parent, I know when things are off. My suggestion is either find another office. Or be prepared to fight for their care. I get they can be busy. But the medicine they suggested did not work. They suggested to wait it out. As a parent, go with your gut. If your child is not improving. Call, and go in. Fight for their care! I know if something is wrong. But to have them push back so much, made me think differently about them. It made me think they don't care about us. It don't feel as quality. read more

I was trying to find a good place to take my son who is in the foster care system so I used the health first Colorado website which stated that Stapelton Pediatrics would take medicaid and new patients but when I called, I was told that they no longer take new patients with medicaid. When I was still a couple months away from have Baby N one of my good friends delivered her little girl at the same hospital as I would be delivering at in the near future. When we stopped by to congratulate them and meet the little one we also happened to be around for their first pediatrician visit and the doctor was from Stapleton Peds. Nick and I stuck around for that visit (we were invited to) and really enjoyed the doctor's general personality and the way he handled the baby so we set up a met and greet with them about a month later. Unbeknownst to me at this point and until I was actually in the hospital myself when a nurse told me, one of the main doctors (Dr. Noah) that started the practice has been 5280's top of the town pediatrician for several years running. That's not our doctor. But, that's okay because all of the doctors here are fantastic. As are the nurses, the front desk people, and pretty much everyone we interact with ever. Our doctor happens to be Dr. Bryan (who is unfortunately leaving the practice at the end of this year), which was really just luck of the draw as we had met him, Dr. Noah, and Dr. Brendan all at various times and just picked the one that had the next appointment time that worked best for us when Ephraim had to go to the doctor for his very first visit (which happens about two days after you leave a hospital if you didn't know.) One of the things I like best is that our doctor always offers us a Western medicine option and a more natural, homeopathic option for any questions we ask about during visits. And never makes us feel like he's judging whichever we choose. The offices are fun and friendly. I've never seen a nurse give a shot so quickly and excellently every time as the lady that does Ephraim's shots when the schedule calls for it. And they have a separate waiting room for newborns since they're immune systems aren't super strong. All in all it's a lovely place to take your be-bes if you are in the Park Hill or Stapleton area. read more

I love this place! I had been taking my son to see another pediatrician and really hadn't been happy with them. As a first time mom, the last thing I needed was for the doctor to make me feel bad every time we went in for an appointment. My son was a big baby when he was born, but dropped down on the growth chart after that. So after doing some research (and taking Tiffany's suggestion) I made an appointment with Dr. Noah. He's been rated as one of the best doctors in Denver, and for good reason. He made me feel 10 times better about everything. Because of an insurance company change and a move across town, we experienced three different pediatric practices over a short period of time. We're sticking with Stapleton Pediatrics though because it's such a standout practice for so many reasons: the quality of care, most importantly; the outstanding front desk staff; and the great office space. We see Dr. Amy, and she is wonderful--very knowledgeable, empathetic, and a great listener. The nurses are also wonderful, very knowledgeable, empathetic, and great listeners. Being able to call and talk with a nurse is so helpful and has provided me with much needed peace of mind a few times. We've seen a couple of the other doctors, when we needed a same-day appointment and Dr. Amy wasn't available, and we were impressed by the other doctors too. Which brings me to the front desk employees. I so appreciate how friendly and accommodating the front desk employees are, especially after a very different experience at another practice. The front desk employees have gotten us in same day when we've needed that. Our daughter has fun in the waiting area and likes getting to look through the nice variety of books in the exam rooms. Unfortunately, my preschooler kept getting RSV and giving it to his baby brother throughout the winter last year. It was a very hard time, we were in an out of children's hospital for week long hospital stays. Baby was on inhalers, oxygen, etc. it was really tough! Dr Matt was fantastic through this! The Colorado Kids record system is connected to Children's, so he would read the notes and he would listen to what was going on and help us plan treatment, appointments, everything! We have since moved to Littleton and are sad we are no longer near Colorado Kids locations, but I think they are a wonderful practice. Highly recommend Dr Matt! read more

We love Dr. Noah! He has really helped with my FTM syndrome. He calms me down and has taken excellent care of us. I like that they have a room for newborns (up to 9mos) and a separate area for sick kids. The rooms are friendly and inviting. I think, once they finish their expansion, the facility will be incredible. I also love their website. Often times, I don't have to call because the information I am looking for (how high is too high for a fever? What is this rash on my baby?) is on the website... but when I have had to call the on call line, we are called back by pediatric staff and they make me feel at ease. We love this office! Stapleton Peds came to the hospital when our twin boys were born. They communicated with the NICU and tracked our babies progress. Luckily, it was a very short stay in the NICU and Dr. Amy and Dr. Noah have been our primary care providers ever since. They have helped with weight gain and nutrition, as well as successfully been troubleshooting things like acid reflux. They take a whole body approach and don't rush into masking something with a drug. We highly recommend this group of doctors. read more

I do not understand some of these reviews, I have never had a problem here. We have been coming for about 2.5 years now with first my son and now my newborn daughter. The front desk staff did change several months back but I never had a concern with the old staff. The new staff is FABULOUS. Noriko is amazing, the best provider my children have ever seen, I know that she truly cares for my children. Amy Nash is wonderful, even Dr. Noah (who I have not physically met) helped me battle Apria on a Saturday two days after Christmas. I am not sure what folks are looking for but they are not too busy to provide care. I literally just called (why I saw these reviews) and was given an appointment for tomorrow at 8:30am. Blame baby brain, I am not articulating myself well- but I can not imagine trusting my children to any other provider. read more

I love Stapleton Pediatrics! My newborn had high levels of bilirubin and his first 2 weeks were spent under the care of the PA Dr. Robin and let me tell you we adore her! She is so patient and answered all our silly first time parent questions with grace. We got a kick out of her calling our baby meatball (too cute)! We saw Dr. Brandon for my sons 2 month check up and he answered all our questions before we could even ask. He also walked us through what to expect for the future and made this mom feel like she actually knows what she's doing haha. He builds parents up and was so gentle with our little one. The on call doc even was SO pleasant despite the fact that I called in the middle of the night. Everyone in this practice has a big heart and you can't help but feel like your young one is in GREAT hands under thier care! read more

My son just turned two and we've been seeing Noriko (as well as a few other providers) at Stapleton Peds since his first week of life. Our experience has been great; she assures us that everything is normal at his regular check-ups and has recommended we get extra attention for things that may not be without freaking us out. Billing has always been a breeze with everything going straight to insurance. They also helped immensely with breastfeeding! They checked out and fixed a tongue tie with so much explanation along the way as well as recommended the best lactation consultant ever! I took my little lady here to get her ears pierced at four months old. We have kaiser insurance so do not go to this pediatric office for wellness checks but were welcomed with a smile anyway! For $100, we received numbing cream, experienced piercers, a doctor's check in, a starter set of sparkling earrings and an EXTRA pair to be used six weeks after the initial piercing. Our son's primary doctor is Dr. Brandon whom we always see for check-ups, but we've seen a few other doctors for sick visits and they have all been wonderful and very informative. The office staff is friendly and helpful, the waiting room is large and divided into areas for well visits, sick visits, and newborns. I have been with SP since my son was a newborn. He is now four and I have an 11 month old daughter and we still love SP. They always fit us in when we need. They don't ever scoff at my concerns. I love the attention my children receive when we are there. We see Dr. Noah most of the time and we just love him and his medical assistant, Janelle. Recently, my daughter was diagnosed with RSV and we saw the new PA and he was absolutely wonderful. He took such wonderful care of my daughter. I've never had a problem with the front desk staff or any other administrative person. I'm so happy my children are so valued here! read more

We've been here since 2011 with Dr. Bryan Kono. We followed him to his own practice because he's that good-and Wash Park to Highlands isn't a small trek. After moving near Stapleton in 2014, we reluctantly came back here. For this entire year we've been in a handful of times for colds and annual physicals (they scheduled us with various PAs and nurses every time-all very nice, but, never a doctor). The front desk staff seems...out of the loop. A little awareness and consideration wouldn't hurt. If you see someone with a screaming red-hot fevered child, please help them first. I doubt anyone would be that put off. While waiting at the window, Frances took 2 new phone calls and helped 3 new people who came in after me. I interrupted to ask if I could quickly pay my copay (since she told me they charge an additional $15 to mail it to you) and was given the "please wait" hand. It was clear she was taking some aggression out on me passively. Then after all was cleared out she looks at me and asks what it was I wanted to do (she knew - I inquired 3 separate times). The entire wait my child was crying in my arms and begging to please go home with a 102 fever. It was simply unprofessional and sort of cruel. Additionally, I've heard other parents voice frustrations at them while in the waiting room over the years. I hope they figure out how to improve their efficiency and find friendlier staff. After today's clusterF, we're going to find a new practice. (*Relieved*) read more

The office staff seems very unorganized. They never called to confirm my appointment. So I called their office the day prior to make sure my insurance and appointment that I made two months ago were good to go. They told me everything was fine and in order. So, when I arrived the following day for the appointment they told me I was an hour late! What?! This is why I called (actually 3 times throughout the 2 months). I was seen anyway because I had two of my kids scheduled. So one did not get seen. The other did. They did not appoligize for their mistake or make it right. They just shrugged and even acted put off by me. This was the most stressful doctors appoinment because I had waited so long and I felt like I did everything right. I was told that I could talk to the office manager, he or she never came to see me. This place was a big mess for me. My impression: They have so many patients your are not important or needed. When I told them I will find someone closer to me, they just said okay. They did not care. If you don't mind being treated like you are lucky to be seen by them, this place is fine. I like being treated like I am a valued customer. I have never experienced a doctors office being stuck up. read more

We started here in 2011 with Dr. Bryan on the recommendations of several friends. I really liked Dr Bryan but switched to Dr Brandon when he left :( Dr Brandon is also fantastic. Whenever my child is ill though and we call for a sick visit, if we can't see Dr. Brandon, I love love love Robin. My son had an inexplicable high fever (102-103) for a few days with no relief from advil/tylenol so we went in. Robin let us sit there for 2 hours in a cool darkened exam room for observation which was very reassuring to me and felt very comforting. I think the practitioners are all great actually. I do have trouble with the front office staff though. When you call, you are placed on hold for a long LONG (5+ minutes) time. They also are not great at returning calls which is frustrating if you are trying to get in for a sick visit. And just as a side note, Children's has an excellent app and a great 24 hour nurse call line if you do have questions about your child's illness or symptoms so i always turn to those 2 resources if I ever need any reassurance. read more

Make sure you send them your insurance card before you drive there. I spoke to the office several times, told them what type of insurance I had, and they even made a special accommodation to see my daughter for a well check on a Saturday - which they don't normally do. I drove 30 min to get there and they said they didn't take the insurance and couldn't treat my daughter unless we wanted to pay $800. Just beware. read more

We used to love this place. They were attentive, appt.'s were easy to get, the staff was friendly. But that all changed the day I called to schedule my 18 month old his well child visit. My husband was let go from his job so I called trying to get our son in before our insurance runs out at the end of the month. The lady I spoke with was rude when I told her our situation and seemed incredibly indifferent when I expressed my concerns about getting my son in before our insurance ran out. Danny the PA was an excellent caregiver it's just too bad this place seems it's gotten to big to care about their patients as people. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more
