It had some peach flavor, but honestly, nothing out of the ordinary. I was told the peach donuts were just all right, not as standout as others (apple cider donuts). What did stand out was the peach Bellini, which was really good, especially because it was such a hot day. We wanted to check out the peach orchard, but unfortunately, they had sold out for the day, so we weren't allowed to go. This was a great decision! Our household has just two adults, so we decided to split the CSA with our neighbors (also two adults). It was $250 for each couple (and the CSA lasts at least 4 months), which has turned out to be a great value for all the food we get each week. We pick up our share at Albemarle Baking Company, and it's organized such that all the stuff is in bins and you pick out your own produce. It is seriously an overflowing bounty of vegetables, herbs, and flowers every time we pick it up. As an example, this week's share included: head of lettuce, mesclun mix with edible flowers, swiss chard (or kale), 2 green peppers, 3 summer squash, 1.5lbs big tomatoes plus a bag of cherry tomatoes, a sunflower, 2 zinnias, 3 cucumbers, 3 onions, beets (or okra), and basil.
