Came for another overnight stay for a concert at Bethesda Theater. The hotel is about a 15-20…read moreminute walk to the theater. We don't park in the lot next to the hotel (it's $30/day). We park at the public lot on Montgomery St. that is enforced Mon-Sat from 7a-10p. It costs us around $12 for our overnight Sat. stay. The hotel was inviting and we were greeted by a pleasant young lady at checkin. Our room was clean with the usual amenities: microwave, mini fridge, iron and board, toiletries, including lotion, and a safe. Breakfast was included and there was a restaurant onsite including a bar area in the lobby. They also had a laundry room and fitness center. Tip: request a room on the top floors to lower your chance of hearing the traffic below. The hotel is within walking distance (~ 10 minutes) to the main area of Bethesda that included endless shopping and restaurants options. All in all, a great place to stay while visiting the Bethesda area.

Visited a friend in the area, and he suggested staying in Bethesda. Found this place online. Got it…read morefor a reasonable rate. The lobby was clean and well-appointed. They have a dining area for breakfast ($35 buffet, not many options) and dinner (sit-down), plus a bar. Also there's a long lounging/sitting area for people to work. Small convenience-store area in the front. Room was pretty clean, bathroom was spacious! View wasn't great, not much to see off the main road. TV was fine. Didn't seem to be any blackout curtains. Biggest annoyance was the parking structure. There's a clear area to go in, but the path to the lot is darkened (motion-activated), so I ended up driving in and out and back in. And the turns are tight. I drove a mid-size SUV and was constantly worried I was going to scrape the car doors against the stone walls. This hotel is just a few blocks from the Metro, so if you don't need a car, I'd advice not to drive. Parking fee was about 30 a day, I believe. Overall a pleasant experience and I'd come back.

Good TV channel selection. Got a little loud, but was fine by 10. Comfortable room. I did have to take a star off for the parking garage, pricy at $40 a night, and the in-out never worked with my digital key, I always had to pull a ticket, or buzz the front desk to be let out. If you're a Hhonors member, you get an $18 credit which will pay for most of breakfast.

I stayed here while attending a conference in nearby Washington DC. It was fairly close to the law…read moreschool the conference was at. It is generally well located. The staff is uniformly pleasant and professional. I have nothing but positive feelings about all of them. The room cleaning was done every day and it felt like they did a good job. Both the hotel and the rooms are a bit on the older side, which is fine. The rooms are fine. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have a walk-in shower that worked for me, with shampoo/conditioner/body soap dispensers on the wall. My only real issue has to do with something they need to modernize. Some of the electric outlets on the dresser area were not hooked up. The room is bereft of USB ports for charging. I have several devices that need a USB port for recharging. The room has one. So I could charge my iPhone, my Apple watch, my Apple earbuds, or my iPad. I could not charge more than one of them. That is a little annoying, but it is a small problem for just me. That is a rather simple upgrade that they should make. If I had been with my wife on this trip, the lack of USB ports would have been a huge problem. This place has a "bar" that is open limited hours adjacent to the lobby. There is a breakfast thing in the morning. The bar should be open earlier and stay open later. One of the evenings my groups was there, the World Series was on. We had to go to a place a couple of blocks away because it was not on in the hotel bar, and the hotel bar would have closed before the game ended. We would have rather stayed at the hotel. But we could not. The fact that there is no room service is a bit annoying. I know that is part of this kind of place. But it is an inconvenience. I'd say this place is more of a 3.5. But I'm rounding up because the complaints are small and the place was very good in general.

All of the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great. I did also have lunch one day, and the club sandwich was perfection! I love those French fries. My peers and I have enjoyed our stay here several times when we've been in the area visiting clients. It's a very convenient location, with lots of restaurants close by.

Liked being on the 12th floor, but seemed like I was put in an Accessibility room even though it wasn't my preference. But it was OK. The room temperature was kind of hot since it was at 75°, so had to turn it down to 65° to feel comfortable. Housekeeping was on time and did a great job while I was at work for a team seminar on Monday and Tuesday. Anyhow, dropped by the Bar down in the lobby a couple of times with my coworkers for a few drinks on Monday evening. Service was pretty good, but a little on the slower side. Maybe since there were a lot of people. Actually stopped by at 5:00 PM the first time. Then again at around 10:30 PM after going to our team Happy Hour. Drinks from the bar were well made both instances. Overall, it was an enjoyable time spending a few nights at this specific hotel! The staff kindly allowed me time to park outside to ensure I had everything I needed before moving my vehicle.
