From…read morestart to finish, Iman and his team did absolutely everything they could do to make the wedding planning process seamless and our wedding day exactly how we imagined. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We also want to give a special thanks to Wake on the sax, Farzan on the drums, and Cyrus on the cello. These three gentleman made the music come alive and our guests could not stop raving about how talented they were. My wife and I still talk about just how great it was working with Exclusively Entertainment and we would absolutely recommend them for your events!

Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

We reserved a private space with a private tasting, which made the day feel extra special and perfect for a large group. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. If you are looking for a great place for a birthday, celebration, group outing, or just a relaxing day with friends, I highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. I'd recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a nice winery north of the beltway!

I love La Boheme!! They are one of the few restaurants in the city that creates these super special…read morethemed dinners. And they really deliver with the food, the ambiance and experience. The first time we went was for their Tolkien themed dinner. My husband is a huge Lord of the Rings fan, so he was really geeking out. They decorated the restaurant perfectly for the theme with posters, pillows and music. Every dish was named for the theme like a "raw and wriggling" crudo and Samwise's "po-tay-toes". They were served with a story from the staff as well explaining the relevance of the dish to the movies. So much fun!! And the food?! DELICIOUS!! They throw in a few surprises like Elvish bread wrapped in a banana leaf and a precious chocolate ring of power for dessert. We came back for a Queen themed dinner that was just as fun and delicious! I can't wait to see what they do next. We'll definitely be there.

Thank you so much. I think the Lord of the Rings theme is such a creative idea and this review is not meant to be a bash at all. I am not a restaurant owner. It's only feedback to encourage/empower! As a fellow creative, I just want everyone's cool ideas to thrive. So I have lower back and neck problems. The seating felt old. It was very uncomfortable for me. The booth seating tilts a little forward and the chair sinks a little too much in. Might not matter to some but it was painful until my boyfriend swapped with me. Like I said they were super accommodating with food. But I think what I felt was that they're stretched a little thin/over booked. The food I've seen in the awesome Instagram ads or from last year, wasn't exactly what we saw last night. Some dishes were good, others missed the mark/were not warm (when supposed to be) or were a little under seasoned probably due to being rushed. The decor also appeared rushed. Again, I'm not a restaurant owner I can't imagine the amount of work it must be to think of all the little details. But those little details go a long way for a fellow creative like me . Like the decorations, I encourage the creative behind it to brainstorm further. Like an entire wall of fake moss instead of the plastic tarp looking tapestry with "Lord If Rings" on it instead of Lord of The Rings. Or even taking inspiration from Bilbo's birthday from the first movie might help the decor. You got this or even pulling inspo from those trending dark green/forest themed weddings and using more of the dark evergreen colors. Fairy lights in little jars rather than on the white hanging fence. The theatrical storytelling. Maybe have an option in the beginning or when people book reservations, to select whether they want that or not. Or include a little note card that looks worn and old, with a little story written on it with each dish. Because the thinking behind this idea is smart, it just needs to be accommodating to maybe those hard of hearing, neurodivergent, or just uncomfortable. Some people are socially awkward, like myself and won't say "ok no more story time, I'm ready to eat." Lol I really hope this helps and is not interpreted as negative. Just wanting your creative idea to thrive.
