The parking is street parking for $4.5 an hour unless you find a nearby garage. The lot that is close to them goes for $15 an hour. It's worth it to look around a little for cheaper parking.

They provided us with maps and advice on getting around the area. Parking is free. We were always able to find a spot for our mini van rental. You just need to display the provided parking permit paper you receive at check-in on the driver's side. The room is spacious with a two seater couch, desk, desk chair, tv, dresser, closet, two queen beds, nightstands, and two sinks outside the bathroom. Bathroom is a tad small once you lay down the bath mat towel and try to avoid stepping on the towel with your slippers. We didn't spend much time in the room in the daytime. At night we could hear neighbors tvs on. It didn't prevent us from sleeping but in the future I would bring ear plugs and request a room on the third floor. You can also hear steps from the people above you. The sheets were soft and cool. I'll miss that. The two sinks were convenient so nobody needs to wait for the bathroom to open up to get ready. If you leave up a do not disturb sign they'll add a sign on top of it that your room was missed and to request anything needed. I like that there was a dead bolt inside the room. Check-in desk was also kind enough to mail our postcards for us on our last day when we were leaving for the airport. Location is a small drive to downtown or a 15 minute walk to places like Baggu, Barista, or Pinky. It feels like a safe area as opposed to staying directly downtown.

I liked that the room with the 2 queen beds also had 2 sinks separately from the bathroom which makes it more efficient to get ready or wash up. I wish the TV had an option to cast what you want but it only had cable. The only downside is you can hear the people upstairs moving around so if that bothers you, just wear earplugs or request the top floor. There's a bus right outside the hotel which can take you downtown pretty quickly. The hotel isn't too far from downtown either if you wanna drive to it. You can also walk but I would suggest using public transit to cut down on time. The area felt relatively safe too. There's also a fridge and microwave in the room.

Baked goods and coffee available all day, fridge space for your leftovers and booze, plus bonus for long stays: you can use the washer and dryer! Cozy nooks for eating, front porch with swing, comfy couch in the parlor. Friendly staff, and friendly fellow guests, & comfy rooms -tho we were in a basement room, not the best view from there. There is another room on the 3rd floor. St. John Suite is very spacious with 2 balconies, 2 closets, double vanities, one large walk in shower with 2 shower heads on opposite ends. The common area on the first floor is very charming (mostly). Kinda made me feel like I was in a movie, the floor/stairs creak, the decor can make you feel creeped out. There's on site parking which was wonderful but the entrance can be easily missed in the dark. There are "linen closets" in the hallways if you need more towels and toiletries. There is a washer dryer in the basement which was convenient.

The property faces Waterfront Park along SW Naito Parkway at the corner of SW Pine St. I was able to book this brief stay online on 6/26/26. After parking nearby, the perimeter and entrance was clean and staffed with upbeat doormen. I checked in around 530pm Wednesday at the front desk and then was directed to the concierge area where I received a VIP gift, helpful tips and recommendations which was greatly appreciated. I wished I had noted her name - she was a standout with her professional and personable demeanor. I checked out by 845am Friday and it was straightforward. I stayed at a studio unit while reacquainting myself with Portland. After WorldMark/Wyndham stays at Depoe Bay, OR in 2024 and Long Beach, WA in 2025, this was a welcomed improvement. The main lobby was clean with pleasant indoor decor and seating. There's also a mini market, exercise, and laundry facilities on the main level. I appreciated the information kiosk area where one can pick up maps, activity, and destination flyers. Overall a well maintained property from perimeter, entrance, lobby, elevators, and the room I stayed in. Despite that I was within proximity of the elevator, my stay was safe and comfortable. Quiet, respectful guests above, below, and adjacent sides. Good sound proofing with faint traffic noise (just some random fireworks and an early AM train) and light blocking blinds. My studio room had a well appointed bathroom (great shower!), streamlined but well stocked kitchenette, nice modern layout with the furniture, lighting, AC, and flat screen (great viewing of a FIFA World Cup match). I appreciated that the Murphy bed was already pulled down, couch cushions set aside. However, the bed itself was not comfortable. I later found out upon checkout, that a board could have been provided to add more support. Next year, all rooms with this set up will be replaced with new mattresses. There's also limited and oddly placed outlets. Pro tip: there is no onsite parking. Valet parking is $50/day. I ended up using the AirGarage at 95 SW Pine St, which is literally around the corner and across the street from WorldMark PDX. One can book online via airgarage.com or use the QR code or pay station at the corner. I paid $19.50/day with a 65 cents payment processing fee. The night before checkout, I moved my car before midnight and found a street parking spot adjacent to WorldMark PDX. No payment required overnight. I had downloaded the Parking Kitty app and screenshot the specific parking area number. Starting at 8am, parking payment is required. Checkout from WorldMark is 11am. There are various sights, retail businesses, and cafes/bars/restaurants nearby. Folks get around on foot, roller blade/skates, bike, bus, and streetcar, light rail, and car. I did not see much in the way of rentable lime bikes or scooters, or uber lifts. Just exercise common sense and be aware of your surroundings when out and about. Decent location for an urban getaway.

The felt desk staff was super friendly both when I checked in and out, the room was clean, super comfy bed and overall loved my stay. The area this hotel is in is a bit sketchy but that's no fault of the hotel, just be aware when walking around especially at night.

The staff: friendly but cannot compensate for the state of the rooms. We survived one night with the worst sleep while still wearing earplugs. We abandoned the rest of our stay and are eating the cost even though we did ask for a refund. We asked both the front desk and were instructed to email the generic line. We have not gotten a response.
