The neighbors had untrained dogs that barked aggressively at me every single time I used the only stairway to enter or exit my apartment. This happened multiple times a day, for months. It made coming home feel stressful and unpleasant--like living in a chaotic environment, not the upscale community Bentley Ridge claims to be. When I finally confronted one neighbor about the constant barking, he became aggressive and got in my face. On top of that, Ring cameras from neighboring units record every single entry and exit for end-unit residents. As someone on the second floor, my movements were constantly monitored without my consent. I found it invasive and creepy to have strangers knowing exactly when I was home or coming and going. I asked management to help mediate these issues and find a reasonable resolution. Instead, they told me to call the police. They showed zero willingness to get involved or enforce any community standards. Overall, Bentley Ridge has nice-looking buildings but terrible neighbor issues, major privacy problems, and completely unresponsive management. I would not recommend living here.

Our second floor apartment is actually the size of a three bedroom ranch house, with an added on sun porch that I use for my crafting room. The interior features original beams from when it was a working warehouse. There is an open floor concept to the main living area which makes for convenient use of the living space. All of the doors in our apartment were originally doors from historic buildings, and the genuine antique brick floor in the kitchen area, is. perfect match with the vintage, industrial theme of the building. There are so many details in this unit, that, the list is too long to post here. But let me say, Sam and Cindy are the best landlords we have ever had. They get things taken care of in a timely manor, when there is a problem, and they have given me free reign to land scape the left side of the building, resulting in my own little sanctuary garden. we are VERY happy here and happy having them as landlords, and I always tell them the only way I will leave is to go to the nursing home, or to the funeral parlor!

You cannot beat them for the price, space, and uniqueness of the 60+ units they have (comparable square footage would be least 30% more in the apt house developments). Many of their properties are in historic buildings, therefore do not expect any kind of real insulation or weather proofing. In the winter I can literally put a piece of paper down on the floor and watch it blow around....it's a trade off. They can be slow to respond to routine/non-emergency maintenance issues but are usually quick on emergency maintenance problems. All in all I would recommend them.

We asked if we could early terminate our lease on the 15th of the month after giving 2 full months of a notice and they said yes, we could leave on the 15th. What they failed to mention was we would be charged for the full month regardless of us "leaving" on the 15th because they "don't prorate" therefore we would've needed to give 2.5 months of a notice and leave on the last day of the month. They are intentionally cheats and major *ssholes about it.
