At the time of my writing this, there are only 3 Yelp reviews of this restaurant and they are all over the place, so hopefully this provides some more definitive guidance to you...
Punchline: Solid lowkey option for traditional Czech cuisine near Prague Castle.
Food: I ordered the Roasted Duck with Cabbage and Bread Dumplings (265 CZK), which is a traditional dish. While it was certainly not the best duck I've had, it was still decent. I think it was a bit tough at parts, but the rest of the duck was not bad. The bread "dumplings" (more like soft bread circles) were decent too and paired nicely with the flavorful cabbage and gravy-like sauce. The prices are very reasonable considering the location.
Environment: Although this place is located a street away from Prague Castle (so convenient if you are visiting the castle), it has a sort of local / homey vibe. The space is not particularly large, but there were only a couple other people dining there when I went for lunch.
Service: The staff are pretty friendly and the service speed is super fast- so fast in fact that it made me question if the food was actually made to order.
Overall, U Dvou Slunců is a solid option for a traditional lunch right before you explore Prague Castle nearby. read more
