So today I decided to clock out and go get a bite to eat I work in Howland/warren so I figure let me try the hot heads out here. Usually I go to austintown town one cause that's where I live. Anyways I get in there and the person serving me has an Attitude which I understand you're short staffed I get it but then to get skimped all the way down the line and on top of that not even having all the ingredients like put a sign on the door or something. I can at least say the guy the checked out my food was nice. But I just can't understand how you can let people pay this for 3 bites of food. The whole total included tip cause I'm not an animal but if I ever want hotheads again I'll be driving all the way back to Austintown cause this is a joke! I like hot heads because they have sauce. Lol no like for real I do love the sauce choices you get to add to your burritos and bowls. They actually give you a reward card that you get free stuff if you are a frequent flyer. I usually get a little rice and load up the rest of my bowl with all my favorite veggies and spicy chicken. If I am looking for a quick Mexican food fix that is a little more authentic than Taco Bell but not an super pricy restaurant then this is my place. Every time I stop in for lunch the guys are friendly and they actually act like they like working here. Fast and friendly is always worth a great yelp review. read more

I had a good meal but right when I was about to leave the manager approached me and said to me that I need to pay for my pop that I put in my cup. I told the manager that when I checked out my food that I asked for "a cup". Not a "water cup". Just "a cup". I was baffled that he would even approach me about paying for it after I told him that I asked for "a cup". I think when I checked out the woman at the counter should have asked if I wanted a water cup or a pop cup. But being the Good Samaritan that I am I payed for my pop. The store located in Niles, Oh in front of the Eastwood Mall The store is not very accommodating to disabled citizens, a manager was very rude and condescending to me because I had to stop in front of the door to let my husband out who is disabled and cannot walk from the handicap parking area. Just when I thought that all fresh-mex places are alike, I find Hot Head. I think they have the best burritos and bowls in the area, hand down. They have more protein choices... more sauce choices... more salsa options... and they are all really good, with a heat/seasoning level for everyone. I haven't been to hot heads in awhile like since Jennifer and I got sick the last time we ate their. That was when the austintown location first opened however. But my friend Ryan convinced me to give it a try, hopefully it would be worth it and we could support a local chain. I got the exact thing I usually get at chipotle. The comparisons are bleak Beyond the chicken bowl. The servers weren't friendly and not being familiar w the ingredients, they looked at me as if I was bothering them. Sorry enjoy your job or leave. My onions and peppers mix. Epic fail as the size of the chunks were huge and not cut to any rhyme or reason. Chipotle cuts them to good sizes, so they actually blend into whatever your eating. Beans were cold, corn was canned looking, salsa options looked dark like they had been sitting out awhile. Chipotle"s fresh salsa is fresh light and has a crunch to it from the freshness. The sauce options are nice but to many of them taste the same. Guacamole looked dated and a weird color. Lettuce was bagged looking limited portion sizes and drink options. Get the coke freestyle machine. Or more option, take advice from moes and get those machines. We need a moes in this area. Overall sad it's so easy to make a over priced burrito in a bowl for 10 bucks w only a drink. Sorry chipotle rules supreme. Sad I would rather support a local burrito place. And by the way they never did respond to how Jennifer and I got sick when the other location first opened. Keep customers and employees happy and profit follows. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I stopped to pick up food seeing that my husband is disabled and on dialysis and cannot walk very well and the handicap parking is so far from the building we stopped on the side of the building out of the way of other vehicles and patrons The manager stated that it was a fire lane which it was not marked so it could not be a fire lane he was rude and condescending and made me feel like I was a horrible person for doing it. Just because of the way I was treated I will never return to the store and I will tell everyone that I know and write as many as reviews as possible stating the story. Very poor customer service. Placed an online order at 5:45pm for Asap 15 minute pickup. Arrived to counter at 6:04pm only to be told they "don't know what happened to my order." It isn't made and they will make it. At 6:06pm my order is still not being made so I playfully ask the manager "can I at least get a free cookie or something for my wait?" He said, "you haven't been here that long for that." We then proceed to argue what time my online order was placed and how long I should wait. I should not have had to wait at ALL! That is the purpose of online ordering. Plain and simple they messed up and had no concern for customer satisfaction. Unacceptable customer service. I left at 6:11pm with what I paid for and no appetite. read more

Not going to blame this on employees because it's most likely a franchise problem, however, I ordered a steak bowl and was served some of the strangest looking steak I had seen. It was the gray color that meat takes when you boil it rather than grill it. But not only that, the steak inside was closer to raw than rare. The steak was so tough that I couldn't let it go. I told the manager about how tough it was and it may even be undercooked, and although he didn't have an answer he allowed me to pick a different meat, so I went with chicken. The chicken tasted like the bagged frozen chicken from a grocery store and possibly worse. They may have the lowest quality meats I have tried anywhere, and what makes it worse is overcharging by so much. I know customer service is one thing with the employees, which was not an issue here, but totally the franchise's fault for skimping on any sort of quality with the food. read more

Definitely beats Chipotle. Everytime I have went there, they seem like they hate life. Everyone was super friendly and chill. Service was quick and efficient. Food was fantastic and the restaurant was clean. Cody was the guy that helped me out building my burrito. Super friendly and had a smile on his face. You need more people like that!
