    Seafood enchiladas.

I was here when the place first opened. Cant't remember what I had back then, but remember I thought...meh...it's ok. Haven't been compelled to go back. Decided to try it again tonight since I was craving some Mexican food. In the several years since I've last tried their food, it's...still...just ok. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa had a nice little spicy hot kick to it, but not overly spicy hot. The seafood enchiladas were just meh. They weren't terrible. But there was nothing particularly memorable about them either. The shrimp and krab were both chopped up finely, kinda like the stuff you find in can can at the grocery store. Mediocre taste. The Spanish rice was flavorless, unless you poured some salsa (from the chips) over it. Honestly, unless you love their table-side guacamole (which isn't my thing), I prefer El Jalapeno. Although I haven't tried the new taqueria in the Pine Tree Plaza yet...

This is so far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. We are used to eating Mexican food 3-6 times a week. The places we would eat were owned, staffed, and eaten at by mostly people in our Mexican community in Oklahoma. If you are used to good authentic Mexican flavor, this has been the only place we have found it in this area. We have been to over 10 different Mexican restaurants in the Youngstown area and none of which compare. The best items offered are not on the Menu so be sure to ask what else they have to offer. We were looking for tacos Lengua and finally found it. The only thing I wish they did have is Barbacoa. We had tacos asada, pollo, el Pastor, carnitas and chills rellano all of which were very very good. We tried a tamale which had good flavor but was a tad dry and crumbly and the flan was a bit over cooked but once again had a great flavor.

Food was cold and margaritas tasted like soapy water. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

Not exactly authentic Mexican, but everything I've had has been very good. Choriqueso and/or table side guac are a must.

We were greeted by our server and given water and drinks. Chips and salsa also came and chips were homemade. I had a margarita and husband sangria. Both were good. Dinner was a pineapple stuffed with fajita filling and Mexican cole slaw and rice. Cole slaw was yummy! I had a shrimp quesadilla and it was excellent. Plenty of food with leftovers for sure. Stop in and try this place.

This place being near the Mall we most frequent looked promising. We were certainly not disappointed. We did the Tamale's appetizer, and they were the best, and most authentic tamale's we have ever had. All of the food we tried was perfect i every way, including very generous portions. The atmosphere is a little upscale compared to any other Mexican place we have been to, but the prices are still on par, so affordable to eat here fairly often. One thing we noticed that we liked a lot, one of the wait staff cleaning a table just vacated didn't use just a damp cloth, she used a disinfecting cleaner also. This place is an obvious cut above the rest. This will be our go to Mexican restaurant going forward.
