It was my first time at Hot Nails Salon and I had Paula as my hand tech and she was beyond great. She went through the pricing with me thoroughly and when I chose the $45 gel mani instead of the $65 bio gel, she made sure to let me know I made a great decision vs. pushing me to get the higher priced serviced. My pedicure technician was great also! I forgot his name but he did amazing. In a nutshell I will be coming back!! Thank you Paula you're the best! read more

Most consistent, clean, friendly, and quality nail salon I've been to in the valley. I've been going here for about a year now and love this salon. It's family and female owned by Paula who has several of her siblings working alongside her. The nail color selection is literally endless! All services are clearly stated on their TVs that display all the services they offer at the salon. They now offer eyelash extensions, permanent makeup, facials, etc! I only ever get my nails done here and they're perfect every time. Ben is my go-to and is friendly and very detail-oriented. In all honesty, every person that's done my nails has done an excellent job and I feel like that's rare to find. I trust all of them completely! My big toe nails have been an issue for me at previous salons (idk they grow weird and are prone to become ingrown at the slightest deviation). NOT. HERE. If anyone has similar issues and is looking for a new salon, I highly recommend coming here. Again, everyone is genuinely sweet, caring, and hard-working. Plenty of parking in the back! HOT NAILS salon is hands down the best nail salon in CANOGA PARK and shouldn't only be in 2015 but should be named yearly!! I have been coming to their salon since the other location for a total of 5 yrs already and thank God Natalie called me to make sure I follow them. I cannot live without lovely LAN doing my kid's & my pedicure (very detail oriented & extremely gentle) Paula & Tony are always welcoming & accommodating with appts (best people I know ) They will work it out with your schedule I swear. Everyone there is like FAMILY!!! But lastly-- you guys just gotta ask for BEN he is amazing with nails. So I usually do my feet but from time to time I like to treat myself. Today I tried a new place on Sherman Way right next to Burger King. It must've been a long time since I've treated my delft because the price of a pedicure was $30+ I was completely SHOOK but I do realize that their prices are comparable to other places that do pedicures. I'm just out of the look. In the end I'm Disappointed because my toes look like I could've done this myself because my toe nails are uneven and the paint job is splotchy. FYI they charge an additional .99 cents to pay with card. Beware UPDATE! I see that the Business Owner Replied Thanks for that, Unfortunately you nor the lady who did my nails knew anything was wrong I didn't complain or say anything about my dissatisfaction. I paid for my service even though it was subpar. Im sorry that you either had me mixed up with someone else or just saying you did to make the business look better. Either way just another reason why I won't be coming back. read more

I had such a great experience here! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away. I got a gel pedicure and a full Gel X set, and they impressively finished everything in just about an hour. I was especially impressed by Benjamin's attention to detail--he took his time shaping my nails perfectly and made sure I loved the final look. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I rarely come to the Canoga Park area. Today I need to get a quick pedicure. Found this place on Google and decided to try it. I paid $30 for a regular pedi, which is a fair price. The nail salon is spacious and clean--plenty of mani & pedi stations. I noticed there are a lot of colors to choose from. I decided to do Neon Orange today on my toes. My girl Michelle is amazing! She kills ANY design I bring to the table. I love stepping out with her artwork. Unlimited compliments is what she brings. Never a dull moment. She is so sweet, has a great personality and a great conversation is always included. My visits are always a pleasure. Also, I can't forget to mention the best Pedicures in the valley done by Lan. Love this place! They do very professional nails and always welcome any design. Paula is very accommodating and they have reasonable prices. Walk-ins are welcome but if it's the weekend, be prepared to wait, talented technicians who take their time to make sure your nails look amazing. There's plenty of parking in the back. It's been 3 weeks since my last gel manicure and so my nails were lookin' pretty beat up by now. Nail salons are closing again on 7/14/20 due to COVID numbers on the rise and therefore I needed my nails done STAT. My lovely coworker, Ericka, told me about how she gets her nails done at Hot Nails Salon and was so sweet and kind to make an appointment for me. Paula is EXCELLENT. I loooovvvee the way my French Gel Manicure turned out -NO bumps, she took her time to take off the extra gel that seeps under the nails and she shaped my nails so evenly and perfectly. Thanks PAULA, for the TLC on my manicure. Gel French Manicure will cost you $45. BTW, variety (whole left wall full) of pretty color selections if you choose to do powder dip or other gel colors too. Legit COVID precautions here: temperature checks at the door, hand sanitizer available and given to you on entrance. Staff all wearing masks. Equipment used during my manicure came from a sterilized looking baggie and disposable bowl used to soak my fingertips too. Thanks Hot Nail Salon for adding even more awesome to my day :) and to the Vietnamese gentleman sitting at the front desk -You're funny! Thanks, for making me laugh today too :D read more

My boy Ben does some beautiful nails turns out the whole time I've been going there. His sister is the one who has been doing my nails, the past few months but today today she wasn't available yet, but I loved his work. He was patient with me and took the time to understand what I wanted even though I didn't even have much of an idea he showed me many options worked with me and they turned out absolutely awesome, I would say so far he's my favorite there at the shop. It's very comfortable there air-conditioning comfy places to sit even when you're getting your stuff done it is like the best I have found yet, and I will not stop going there not to mention I love the colors on the wall. The environment and the people are also friendly doesn't matter when I show up, they sit me down right away and take care of me. Love you guys read more

I found this place when I needed to urgently fix my ugly nails from a different place down the street. Came here and Paula took care of me. Over the time I've been coming here I've had almost everyone work on me. Everyone is great! Paula, Michelle, Natalie for my hands and toes I've had Lina, Kathy, Kim, and one more (I feel bad that I can't remember the name at the moment). She is always there though! Was able to get a same day appointment to get some bio gel removed. Ben helped me out and was so patient with me through the removal and was super meticulous in maintaining the integrity of my natural nail and was even able to help me keep a nice length (my nails were super long under the gel but THIN). I had a little bit of damage from the set he was removing, which was not done at this salon, and helped me pick a color to cover the damage and gave me some feedback on what we can do to keep them looking strong and healthy in the future. I will definitely be back! The salon was super clean and didn't have that "nail salon" smell, which is always a positive. Parking in the front is hard, but there is a large parking lot behind the building. read more

Literally the best full set I've gotten in my life. Nathalie hooked me up with my French v-tip coffin nails that are literally to die for. Very clean salon with a friendly staff who are always smiling and willing to help. Tina did my pedicure that was also very amazing. Literally changed my life, I had such a great experience with my newfound nail tech, very knowledgeable and help make indecisive decision making a breeze. Very patient and husband and wife duo is the best I've seen in years, everyone was trained personally by Paula and very well versed with designs if that's your thing, as it is mines. I would give zero starts if I could. If you guys want a nice looking pedi and mani avoid this place! I highly recommend imagination nail spa. They never do me wrong. I only came here because I was around the area so thought I should give it a try. Worst experience ever. First they beat up my fingers, and worst paint job. I kindly asked for it to be fixed or at least half priced. The rude man there refused to fix it and didn't care about how bad the nails looked even though more than 3 technicians came up and saw the job and admitted they were not done right. On top of this, they followed me to my car asking me to go back and pay more money because they forgot to charge me correctly. What kind of "good service" is this?! And they still had the audacity to ask for a tip. Save your money for a place that's worth it. "Imagination nail spa" the best! read more

I've been to this place quite a few times. I really enjoyed it at first but these past 2 times I have gone, I have been cut several times! I'm not one to make a big issue about things like this but the second to the last time I went, I was cut on my big toe. After pulling my foot away to let him know it hurt. He still proceeded to the same area and cut my skin. This very last time I went, the lady cut there toes on the right foot and one toe on the left! It hurt so bad for a few days. Not very fun at all! Not sure if this happened because they were so busy but it really shouldn't happen at all. I'm sure they use the same tools on everyone and I don't think they are sanitized after ever use. So i came to get my nails done about last week. The lady who did my nails was very nice her name was Michelle. I asked for a full set no gel just regular polish keep in mind i was referred by my friend who comes here every two weeks. Anyways back to my story i was very satisfied with the job she did that i was going to tip her due to the nails looking super fresh at that time and the shape was just right. she told me they did not accept tips if it wasn't cash so i told her i was going to post a super good review. The reason why i am giving this place a 1 stars is because the second day my nails looked yellow, the clear code was coming off to tell you i had to go to a different nail salon to fix the color. :( read more

Words can't describe how well the service is here. The work that they do is AMAZING, and they are inexpensive. If only I could give them 10 stars.. Not only do they do a great job with nails, they also offer great facials and waxing. The staff is really kind, fun, and thoughtful, which is really hard to find now a days. The owner Paula really has an attitude problem and was so rude. It's ridiculous how much she charges and continues to add all these additional charges that you never get charged for at every other salon. I payed $70 for something so simple and a fill. Then within 3 days the design started to come off and look sloppy to the point where when people would ask to see my nails, I'd be embarrassed to show them. $70 for 3 days of mediocre nails?!! I will never come back! For that price, I would expect long lasting quality nails and a high end salon setting.. Definitely not here.. It looks ghetto read more

Disappointed.... My gf and I read great reviews about this place .... First of all I understand it's the end of the day I ask if they have time to take us for pedicures and they willingly said yes if I don't mind waiting. We get in the chair and wait in cold water for about 30 min. They later warmed up the water for us and when we finally get to the actual pedicure they touch our feet for all of 10 min .... The man spent more time trying to remove the gel polish than scrubbing my feet . My gf got the callus remover and you can't tell the difference . Waste of time read more

If you can get Pam or Paula, this is a great place. If not, don't bother. Due to a horrible first experience with a gel manicure at Hot Nail, I will unfortunately never be back again. The woman who did my nails, unfortunately didn't catch her name, showed no workmanship or patience. She rushed through my nails leaving them blotchy and barely done. Making her have to do them all over again the following day. And now, 2 days later, my "gel nails" are chipping. Clean, courteous, walk-ins, & appointments are fine, reasonable pricing and ample parking in the back. What more could you want? Oh, yeah.... they do a very good job and they don't have that sappy canned music looped over and over again in the back ground. That just makes me bonkers. Jacob is my main man there. He is the bomb! I like this place. Been going every month for the past year. They are busy very often, but I like how my nails turn out every time, and I'm very picky with nails. Most ladies who work there do a good job and are always friendly. The prices are also reasonable and they never tried to "sell me " anything I didn't need or want. Friendly staff with excellent services. I came in 10 minutes late but they were still able to help me right away. I have had ingrown toenails for my whole life and they have always been so painful for me. Luckily, Lan is a true expert at taking these out. The shop is also very clean and spacious. I did voice how frustrating it is to be pushed back because I have an appointment at said time I expect to be seen in a timely manner not 30 min to 1 hour later each time when I have other things to do.
