Decided to try something different from the usual chain liquor store and this place has what I like! Had a sign on the door the said "curbside orders only", I called and asked about it because I usually like to browse and get a feeling for the place. The staff accommodated my request and I was met by very friendly and informed employees. They had a few bottles of Buffalo Trace which is getting harder and harder to find these days but I ended up getting a bottle of Bookers bourbon that was amazing. If you're looking for rare finds and a friendly environment, DEFINITELY LOOK ELSEWHERE. My husband and I just moved into the area a few months ago and I've been in here several times... Unfortunately, that's not enough to be in the "regulars" club. You see, we asked if she had any Blanton's or Weller 12 in the back and her response was, "Absolutely... but we reserve that for regulars or MOSTLY for us as employees in the store." She also mentioned to be considered a "regular" you just need to "buy everything you need in here (nervous laugh, shoulder shrug)". Now, it should be noted that your "regular" status comes at a high price tag... At least 30-40% higher prices. While I can appreciate the attempt at loyalty and exclusivity and I ALWAYS want to support local businesses, it would seem as if Chicotsky's Liquor Store is doing just fine and they don't need your business. Unfortunately for them, I had to go elsewhere to buy all the booze for my 25+ Thanksgiving party. The total (receipt included) was over $700, which clearly must not matter to them. However, imagine what that might be at 30-40% more Chicotsky's (example: Kentucky Owl $197 was $300 at Chicotsky's... And Basil Hayden was $51!!) . Not a bad little Monday in my opinion. The store wasn't impressive but it was respectable. The selection of spirits was the underwhelming part considering the size of the store but I understand it may not be reasonable to fill their shelves if they're not getting much traffic. I always look for hard to find items and compare their prices to regularly available spirits. I found nothing that had been eluding me and the commonly priced items were marked up. Better off going to a total wine if you want to get a good deal for pretty what they were offering. If you want to just support what seems like a small business, feel free to shop with them. Store has an antique shop feel and staff wasn't dismissive. It was organized and felt warm but I don't see myself stopping by again. read more

The "Booze Brothers" are doing all they can to help us through this trying time. I gave them a call this afternoon, with my very vague order, "Three bottles of a nice white wine, dark rum, Grand Marnier, I trust you." Gave them my payment info, drove over and opened my hatchback. Worker came out with my box of necessities, and I drove home, all set for the weekend. They seemed to be keeping busy. I hope so, because I would hate to lose the best liquor store in town. This store is horrible. I went in on a sat morning and there was one guy working. He barely acknowledged me and instead took 20 minutes to help another customer not even caring that I was standing in line arms full and didn't offer assistance whatsoever. I dropped what I was going to buy and left. Never again will I go here. read more

the people here are just great. we had a party not too long ago and i bought alot of beer and they helped us take the beer out to the car. its a bit pricier than other liquor stores but its in a very cute area with wealthier ppl so i guess they can afford it. love every thing abt it read more

I just moved to this side of town and tried to go there tonight(Sat.) at 8:15pm. They were closed and I did not see a sign with their hours anywhere. That does not work for me if they claim to be a liquor store. By the way, I don't shop at Walmart. read more
