Gabriel, who is the manager is amazing! We've been going to this Hot Topic for some years and Gabriel has always been great to us! If he's busy he will stop what's he's doing to make sure we find what we need, make recommendations and sometimes chit chat with myself and/or my family.. he's a huge asset to the the Hot Topic family! He's the sole reason we shop at this store. My 13 year old daughter is on the shy side and she will even say "hey our favorite guy is here!" ... customer service like this is far and few in between. an absolute joke of a company. i have placed two separate online orders for pick up in store and both times i called to make sure the items were in store because they were sold out online. i am not sure who i spoke with the first time but i ordered a backpack and two wallets and they sent me an email saying my items were picked up, however i didnt pick anything up and they told me there was nothing they could do. i called customer service and they fixed the first order. great. got my items WAY later than expecting but whatever i got them. then today they released the new york comic con coraline funko pops and i called and asked if they had them and the worker told me they had 10 available. i said perfect and placed an online order for pick up in store at 11am. by 3pm i was on break at work and decided to see if i got the next email saying that they had my order ready for pick up which i didn't get so i called the store and angelica said they never got my order even tho it already charged my card 70$ and when i tried to get more information she kept referring me to customer service. once i talked to customer service he let me know that they are actually sold out now of that product so they will refund me and it should be in my bank in 7 days. this company is a SCAM dont waste your money here the people are rude and incompetent anyways. will definitely be spending my money elsewhere. read more

Despite walking in with about 20 minutes to closing, I was greeted and helped. I went to just simply pick up an online order that was ready for me, but got stopped by some of the cute pins they had in their cases. The associate still assisted me in getting them despite closing. Before walking out with my order, the associate asked me if I wanted her to open my package and make sure everything was correct and up to my standards. Shocked I said YES! I didn't expect such a service but was grateful! Once I confirmed everything was correct I was good to go and was greeted again by another employee as i left. I have rarely gone in this store over the years but every time I do I always find a hidden gem that I love! They are so friendly and the way the store is set up is so fun and lively and you definitely get into the spirit. I have found numerous pieces of garments from a cute skirt to PJs and random nick naks that are so cute. I need to come more often read more

I have been to my fair share of Hot Topics, and this one is by far the best I've been to. The store is so well organized and clean. Their T-Shirt wall even had an organization to it. The whole store made me not want to mess anything up, which in turned helped me find things I didn't even know I wanted. Well played Hot Topix, well played. Also Christina was helpful enough to when I needed an associate help, but not hovering over me to cause me to be annoyed. I don't know if she's a manager or what, but she should be considered for that position if she isn't already. Damn it Hot Topic. Every time I come in I'm always so mesmerized by every thing you have that's Nintendo-related. I came in on 7/17/2014 looking for a new wallet and was greeted immediately. The employees here were very friendly they offered to help me look for what I needed. Then they had a t-shirt sale. Buy one get one 50% off. Damn it Hot Topic. You and your awesome sales. In the end I ended up getting a Pokemon lanyard, wallet and shirt and a Legend of Zelda shirt. And the cashier, didn't catch her name but she was so awesome and sweet! Always an employee following you as if they expect you to steal from the beginning. Prices are always higher than online by a huge margin. Always packed and the coupons can never be used in the same day and often just go unused and prices at checkout always seem drastically higher then what's calculate the price to be after tax. Better of going on Amazon or eBay. read more

This store has basically every fandom merch! I love this store sooo much and their clothes are really good quality. I just wish the store was not as dark and small so I can actually see what I'm buying and not bump into 15 people. And also it's a little bit pricey, but in the end it's worth it cause there is usually sales or hot cash you can get. read more

The first time I stepped into Hot Topic, was when on my thirteenth birthday. I was in such awe at all the beautiful black clothing, the jewelry, the music. Everything seemed so different and unique. I was smitten. Nowadays..... I cannot walk in and browse without a little boy wearing converse, women's jeans, his hair in his face and lips pierced oohing and ah-hing over some My Chemical Romance tee or Scene kid fashion. I hear at least one RAP/Hip Hop song every time I go in there. Everything is just so.... average. Nothing is unique, this store sold out to appeal to the mainstream. No..... this is not the Hot Topic I once knew. You have better luck finding real industrial/goth/punk stuff on-line. Even try Valentinos in the Tower District. That is the Hot Topic of my childhood. :) read more

This probably the best any hot topic can get as far as selection of band shirts and nice employees.

I ordered a top here a couple months ago and went in to pick it up. It took 20 minutes to finally get a manager so that I could get the order. Turns out if you don't come in 45 days it gets restocked. Luck turns out that it was still on the shelf. Went to order it, more lines, and finally get to check out. They wanted full price, I wanted it at the price I ordered it at, a $7 difference. The manager refused. I'll never shop here again. read more
