My low rating is not a reflection of his work, but rather the lack of transparency in the pricing and communication I experienced. My concern began when two gaskets were replaced without my authorization or even a notification. I was informed only after the job was completed, and then charged $175 for the two gaskets, which can be purchased online for about $5 each. When I reached out to Robert, the owner, his response was that he once paid $875 for a headlight that cost $27 wholesale, an example that didn't address the issue and only reinforced my concern about unreasonable markups. Surprising customers with undisclosed parts and charges does not feel like good business. Before the appointment, we had agreed that since I already had the part they initially diagnosed as the problem, I would only be charged their hourly rate. What wasn't disclosed upfront was that the rate is $100 per hour. I was prepared to pay that once I learned it, but when I received a $375 bill for roughly two hours of work, I requested a breakdown. Only then did I learn about the added $175 for the two unapproved gaskets. The situation left me feeling like this was a bait‑and‑switch, especially since they were unable to charge me for the part I already provided. What makes this especially disappointing is that my first experience with this company about seven years ago was outstanding. At that time, Robert went above and beyond during the middle of winter, and I've recommended this company to others based on that great service. This company came out in November to service my hot tub and told me I needed new thermostat parts to fix the heater from not working. I was getting message code 30 heater to hot. They wanted to charge me $475 for $20 parts and 2hrs of service. We agreed on $375 and after the job was complete and they were paid the same problem still happened. I called them back and they said they would come back out but it took me numerus times of me calling them chasing them down for the work. Finally 5 weeks later they come back only to tell me that I needed a new partial mother board replaced. They were not working till after Xmas and said to call them the following week. I was wondering why they would not call me but whatever. I did call back and they said that this new partial board piece would cost $1200 to replace and he wanted 1/2 down to proceed. I said Im worried about providing you with funds and me always being the one who is calling asking when can you come back. I offered to pay the parts via Zelle after I saw what he bought but nothing ever came from it. Finally I called another company and they came out the next day. Saw the partial board piece that was faulty and said it was a $109.99 part and $275 service charge. Tub works now but I was almost had by this company. Do not use them. Not trust worthy. Once he arrived, Mario checked out our new-to-us 2007 (used) hot tub & gave an honest assessment & told me how to maintain it, no major issues from the check up aside from needing a new filter. Called Robert to repair our hot tub. Repair tech Mario showed up the following week. After running diagnostic test for no heat, he tells me what needs to be repaired. And quotes $625.00. That includes fixing a leaking jet. Turns out that after Mario makes repairs that it's $700.00. He replaces 2 other parts without telling me. Never mentions this either. I'm not happy about being over charged. I ask him if everything is working correctly. He says yes. I give him the check & ask for the receipt. He doesn't handle that. Tells me Robert will send it to you. Next morning, I get up, open hot tub cover & find water level has dropped 1foot! Unbelievable! I immediately call Mario, leave message. No response. Doesn't even respond. I call Robert, also goes to voice mail. No response either. Finally, after several days I get Robert on the phone. Tell him what happened. He gives me a story about how busy his company is & that they cover 6 states. maybe they can come out in 2 weeks. Not happy as my hot basically drains in 3 days because of the leak. Finally, Mario shows up & sees the thermostat gasket is leaking. Did I mention he replaced the thermostat? Used the old gasket. Great job Mario. So, after this is repaired, He sees the connection to the jet is leaking. Now this was supposed to be repaired on the first service call. So, he makes repair on the jet union connection. Asks for $150 for this call! What?? You never fixed the leak the first time! So, I paid the damn thing. My wife comes house & finds out what happened. She is furious! She calls Robert & wants to know why another charge for a problem that they never fixed. He tears up the check. Which is the right thing to do. Next day though, surprise! Jet is still leaking!! so I open everything up & see that Mario has cross threaded the union connector & has used basically a tube of silicone to stop the leak. So as of this writing I'm repairing the leak myself. As for the receipt? Nothing. Called Robert again this morning, no response. Not surprised. I should have done a search on this company. It's out of a house & Mario is probably the only employee. This is not a real company. Be warned. There is no professionalism whatsoever. There is no integrity or quality no warranty or simple respect for customers. You're making a terrible mistake in calling them. You will regret it. I do. read more

The manufacture suggested him, since then I have used him 3 times and would recommend him since they are very fair and fixed the problem quickly. They came out to fix the tub as I was having a leak. Told me one of the pumps was bad and that I needed to drain the tub and get it raised so they could more easily access the area the needed to be repaired. I did that and now they tell me they have left the area and will not be back till December, leaving me with an unfinished repair. Not cool and not ethical. Would highly not recommend. read more

I was having issues with my spa motor in early January. As I was trying to wait for it to get a little warmer outside to have a service guy come, I also noticed a leak that hadn't been there before. My tub was draining significantly every 24 hours and I couldn't wait any longer. I called the previous company that I dealt with and got absolutely ZERO help. Feeling frustrated and angry, I decided to go elsewhere. I found Robert and his company due to the many positive reviews listed for his company. I called him around noon.....he answered immediately and had a service technician at my house by 4:30pm. My issue was resolved, much cheaper than the last company and SO MUCH MORE EFFICIENT!! You can't beat same day service and lower rates for parts and service. I will recommend Robert and his team to anyone that asks, and I will use them for any and every issue I have in the future. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Robert repaired the issue on my spa as quoted and vet the phone, but didn't bother to reinstall the panels he removed properly. Charged $375 to replace a part that retails for $75. For $300 in labor for 45 minutes of work I expected to not have any concerns. When I called him to complain I got arguments and excuses. They came right away and replaced a pump for $600 but we still continued to have a leak. They came back out once after that and said they need to come back but left our panels not attached properly. Despite multiple calls and text messages they have not come back out to look at or fix the problem. On 3/9/21, they came to fix my hot tub because I got a message saying "The heater is too hot." They looked at it and suggested replacing the circulation pump and two heat sensors. It cost me $825.00. So, I had them replace them. That night, I used the hot tub and still got the same message. Finally, on 3/20/21 they came back to fix the hot tub. This time they told me it was the control panel and that they would not charge me for the labor (took 10 minutes to change the panel out). The control panel would only cost me $350.00! They still didn't know for sure that it would fix the problem but still wanted me to pay for the control panel! I called Robert(person in charge) and he didn't answer! Mario (repair man) called him and he answered his call! I told Mario I wasn't paying for their mistake and they needed to fix my hot tub! I paid $825.00 and still don't have my hot tub fixed! Instead they replaced a circulation pump and two heat sensors that weren't broken! I have called numerous times since 3/20/21 to talk to Robert about this, still no answer or call back! Called Robert in a panic because my hot tub stopped working And it's December. My regular hot tub man took my money for a diagnosis, wasn't sure what was wrong and refused to return my calls. I found Robert on the Internet and he called my back within 5 minutes. He was very personable and was able to get out here immediately! I had a flo error on my tub and called these guys. The tech came out and changed my circ pump for $575, but the tub seemed to be working. Two days later the tub was dead. The tech came again, he diagnosed a blown fuse which he fixed for $100. The tub was 12 years old and I had never blown a fuse. A week later, I went to use the tub and upon starting the jets, it was dead again. I called another company and they diagnosed a bad circuit board ($1000 to fix). I choose to buy a new tub. I reached out to the tech for Hot Tub Services to see if I could get some kind of a refund. Either he broke the circuit board or did an incomplete job of troubleshooting. After avoiding my calls for a few weeks he told me there was nothing he could do. The don't stand behind their work obviously and their prices ar high. Called FVEC for Spa repair. I was called back within 10 min and Robert showed up later that same day. He replaced the heater and had my spa up and running very quickly. He was polite and explained what he did and called back the next evening to make sure everything was ok and ask if we had any questions or issues.
