    Using the air pillow to lower the hot tub.

    These guys did a great job of moving my hot tub. They were able to load it on the trailer drive it to the new location switch it to the side to get down a narrow passageway, then use a air pillow to drop it down and place it into the new patio. 3 men and a women. All did an amazing job and were really friendly. Amazing to watch the progress.

    I called Anna to get our hot tub removed over in Carol Stream, and it was scheduled for about a week later. Jim and his guys called ahead to say they would be early and they arrived right when they said they would. They guys were all very friendly and respectful while moving a huge 6-8 person gross hot tub from my yard. Anna was so pleasant to work with on the phone. Our tub was gone and done within about 15 minutes. I had a few questions for Jim about the electrical box and he was very patient and helpful with his answers. I would absolutely recommend this company!

    I had an old hot tub removed from my deck recently. The staff at Two Guys and a Spa Dolly were responsive and professional from my initial inquiry for a quote, to prompt scheduling and on time arrival the day of removal. The removal and clean up took less than an hour for a difficult task, with no damage to my home or deck. Reasonably priced and efficient, I highly recommend them.

My low rating is not a reflection of his work, but rather the lack of transparency in the pricing and communication I experienced. My concern began when two gaskets were replaced without my authorization or even a notification. I was informed only after the job was completed, and then charged $175 for the two gaskets, which can be purchased online for about $5 each. When I reached out to Robert, the owner, his response was that he once paid $875 for a headlight that cost $27 wholesale, an example that didn't address the issue and only reinforced my concern about unreasonable markups. Surprising customers with undisclosed parts and charges does not feel like good business. Before the appointment, we had agreed that since I already had the part they initially diagnosed as the problem, I would only be charged their hourly rate. What wasn't disclosed upfront was that the rate is $100 per hour. I was prepared to pay that once I learned it, but when I received a $375 bill for roughly two hours of work, I requested a breakdown. Only then did I learn about the added $175 for the two unapproved gaskets. The situation left me feeling like this was a bait‑and‑switch, especially since they were unable to charge me for the part I already provided. What makes this especially disappointing is that my first experience with this company about seven years ago was outstanding. At that time, Robert went above and beyond during the middle of winter, and I've recommended this company to others based on that great service. Unfortunately, something has changed, and this recent experience fell far short of the transparency and fairness I expected. My hope is that this review helps future customers who value clear communication and upfront pricing.
