I'm a U.S. Army veteran who was exposed to biotoxins affecting my immune system. I'm in Tijuana getting treatment at bioadvanced medical center with Dr Calzada. In their elevators they have synthetic perfume sprayers constantly bombing the elevator making me sick. I asked them to shut them off. They did NOT. I have to walk 3 flight of stairs to go to and from my room. I can't recommend this hotel if you're sick going to BMC. I'm staying at your hotel because it's supposed to be high quality. Your treadmills in fitness center are very OLD. 2 are broken. A third sounds like it's getting ready to break. You need new treadmills. You can buy 4 high quality treadmills online that have been refurbished from Planet Fitness or other fitness centers. Out of respect for your customers please get new treadmills ASAP! I will increase the rating when you get new treadmills and shut off toxic synthetic perfume sprayers in elevators.

Hotel check in was easy and the many lovely amenities were very well explained. The staff member checking us in even asked what my pronouns were! I don't get that level of kindness most of the time from anyone in Los Angeles. The room is clean and comfortable. They were even so kind as to accommodate clean mini fridge for our food items. I called two weeks ago requesting a mini fridge and it was in the notes for our reservation. They realized this after we checked in and had a bellhop, a very kind gentleman named Fernando who had helped us with our bags earlier, personally carry the whole mini fridge up to our room and install it. The hotel has complimentary WiFi that's not password protected so I made sure to keep my VPN on because I'm neurotic like that. One thing I will report is that I couldn't find a wall port to plug in an ethernet cable in the room to set up my TP-Link Travel Router. Not a big deal at all because I'm probably the only person who would try to do something like that while on vacay anyway. Long story short, this place is probably the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed at in our 13 years together. I slept like a baby on night one, and I look forward to the rest of our stay here. It's quiet, except when they're doing construction in the day. The stay comes with breakfast (7-10am) and there's a coffee machine and an ice machine available all day. I really liked the breakfast. It's a small spread, but the food was good. There was oatmeal, pancakes, scrambled eggs, beans, nacho chips, papaya and pastries. The room is alright. Mine did not have a window to the outside (it was facing the hallway), a little stuffy, but it was bearable. The hotel looks pretty new; it feels minimalistic in an Ikea kind of way. The power went out for 45 min or so on the first day I was there; but that's probably outside the hotel's control.

Wanted to check in at lobby and got very confused because as I open the door, it looked like a cafe and thought I was going into the wrong place! The staff was helpful but could only issue one key which was fine and it was a very easy check in process. Upon getting into my room, it was not very spacious but it was me new, neat, comfortable, and had all the basic necessities. The only thing that could be better is the TV quality, it's 720p with no HD. The breakfast downstairs was one of the better ones, eggs, beans, yogurt, cereal, and 24/7 coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate! We got to the hotel at 7pm on Friday and our rooms were still not ready, even though check in is at 3pm. We weren't able to get into our rooms until 8pm. All of the other wedding guests had similar issues, showing up at 3pm for check in and not having a room until 7pm. No discount despite getting our rooms late. Then, on the 2nd day, one of the elevators stopped working, so the whole building was using 1 elevator. The elevators are small, so it took forever to get one to your floor. You couldn't even use the stairs because the doors are locked on every floor. You couldn't even use your key card to access your floor on the stairs. And to top it all off, our keys would randomly stop working throughout the day. It happened to me and all of the other wedding guests. We'd have to go to the lobby to get it fixed every day. This hotel is severely understaffed and needs better management.
