I had lunch with my partner. We like the ambiance of the restaurant. The lighting, light colored wood, windows and access to the outdoor seating area make it a comfortable place for having a meal. It reminds me of a French bistro. We had a simple meal consisting of a Fiesole Burger with Egg and Linguine & Clams. The food was good. Our server was attentive. Our only issue was that there was a regular patron who was very loud and vulgar. The hotel is beautiful, and decked out for Christmas, even more so. The food was very good, but the prices are out of bounds for certain things. As we got there very late, almost before closing at 10 PM, I wanted something light. I opted for French Onion Soup and the Harvest Salad. With tax and tip, the bill came to $40! My friend had a full entrée for only $3 more. I would go back again, strictly for that soup. The first version that came out, they forgot the cheese. I don't know how you forget the cheese on onion soup, after all that's the central component, but once they put the cheese on it was absolutely phenomenal! It had a very rich broth and was not salty, as some of them can be. I will repeat that it was outstanding. The salad needed a magnifying glass to find the components aside from arugula. Butternut squash was chopped up ridiculously small, as were the pecans and whatever else was in there. It was basically a plate of arugula. For $18. I keep harping on the price because I can't believe that I had soup and salad for $40! My friend did enjoy her Chicken Francais. It was a large portion and she ate every bite. If I want something light, I will stop in again for that soup. There are many good places in Skippack, so I'm not sure I would come back for another reason. read more

We went there for our traditional Thanksgiving dinner this was our very first time after our visit this will be our go-to location for everything's giving dinner from now on. I ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner my husband ordered the Chilean sea bass both of them work Beyond outstanding I've never had turkey dinner that was so flavorful and the best part the plate came out and all the portions were very hot I'm never a fan of getting some parts of my food coming out hot and parts coming out lukewarm and then even cold but every item on my plate was tasty and hot and I couldn't eat it all took half of it home and reheated it 3 days later and it tasted just as good as the day I was served. My husband's not a fan of turkey and tried my turkey and actually raved about it but he also loved his Seafood dish we have never been to Hotel Fiesole before this and we plan on making more trips. read more

We were in Skippack for the Dog Days of Summer event. Before we left we decided to stop and eat lunch. This was our first experience at the restaurant at the Hotel Fiesole. Since we had our dog with us, we chose to sit outside. Greg, our server, was very helpful finding us a place in the shade. He also brought out a bowl of water for the dog. We ordered the following: the bruschetta appetizer and the roasted Brussels Sprouts. They were both excellent! We also ordered the Wild Mushroom Truffle pizza, the Roasted Red Pepper pizza, and the Roasted Pulled Pork sandwich! We would highly recommend these dishes and highly recommend the Hotel Fiesole restaurant. Greg is a great server! He was very attentive and responsive. Excellent job Greg! read more

Soup cold served without a spoon. Runners are rude and just put a plate in front of you even if it's not yours you have to serve yourself the right plate as they walk away. We came here to celebrate my mother-in-laws 60th birthday. This place had a lot of potential to be great, however it just seemed to miss the mark on some key points. Our group started at the lower level bar for some drinks before dinner. This bar/dining room combo was definitely more casual than the upstairs, which was nice. The bartender was friendly and attentive as we sipped our drinks. I had high hopes for dinner at this point! Once we were seated upstairs for dinner, I was able to take a good look around at the decor. There's no other way to put it - this place needs a bit of an update/makeover. The atmosphere gave off a creepy haunted parlor vibe. It would greatly benefit from updating something as minor was the window treatments or even the carpet to something a little more light and airy. I was surprised at some of the items on the menu, given that we visited at the end of April. There were items like butternut squash soup and pumpkin risotto. I wasn't sure why such seasonally-specific dishes would be mainstays on their menu, but I tried not to be too judgmental at this point. Our table started with 3 different appetizers - the calamari ($15), baked Brie & raspberry in a pastry crust ($15), and the scallops ($17). For these steep prices, I have to say I was expecting a little bit more in some aspects. The baked Brie was delicious, and seemed to be a favorite among the table. I was told the calamari was perfectly done as well. Lastly, the $17 scallops came with TWO scallops. I am sorry, but that is absolutely insane for $17, no matter how good they were. For my entree, I got the twin crab cakes served with roasted asparagus and whipped potatoes. The presentation of the dish was an A+. It was beautifully plated and I appreciated that. The crab cakes were very good, but I personally do not think they were worth $30. The potatoes were good, but lacked a bit of flavor. The asparagus was done very well and tasted great! Overall, our table agreed that while the food was very good, the prices were just too steep for what it was. The service from the waitress was severely lacking (she was taking care of dining room tables as well as bartending the entire bar). In my eyes, that is poor service when you're paying $30+ a plate for dinner. Unfortunately I do not think I will be returning. read more

The main dining room was absolutely beautiful, the buffet in the Charlie car was so unique and the food was very good!! He began the search for a Marriott and came across Hotel Fiesole. What a find!!!!!! The team, well let me be more specific. La, Donna, Luke and the Chef couldn't have been nicer, accommodating, caring, compassionate and thoughtful. In passing I mentioned to La (Pamela), that we came out from California to spend time and help out his mom. Every time we returned to take a break, we were asked if we needed anything, down to what time we would prefer breakfast - without being invasive. I literally felt surrounded by really great friends. Our cup runneth over. I have no doubt that the passing of time will require another visit and we will make sure to stay at the Hotel Fiesole. My wife recently hosted a dinner party here with over 30 guests in a private room. It went off well as it is a very nice location. However, what happened since then is despicable with the Manager/Director Ms. Bronwen accusing my wife of having utilized a room over night after cheating and overcharging us for extra guests. Ms. Bronwen was extremely rude calling my wife a liar and saying she snuck out of the room at 7AM the next day after the party. When asked for the video to prove this she indicated that housekeeping stated she snuck out. Absolute lies and deceit, we paid $100 for a room for a few hours prior to event as it was used for a couple of my family members that flew in as a surprise for them to change in. Apparently, this crook who is also the Manager doesn't report to anyone. Nice way to shrug off responsibility and I hold the OWNER complicit in this by nature of inactivity. Service the night of the event was also very poor with most of the wait staff grumpy and looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. All in all I would skip this place and they won't be getting our regular brunch presence ever again unless some serious action is taken. We also had other guests stay overnight and wish we had never recommended them staying over. Trust me when I say I will get the word out in Skippack about these scammers and it is an absolute shame after we gave them so much business. Guess they were all sweet until they got paid and then their true colors came out. Staff is RUDE and Manager/Director -Ms. Bronwen is a CHEAT!! read more

I attended a celebration here and was expecting to be blown away by the ballroom in this quaint and cozy hotel. To me the ballroom was tired, musty and in desperate need of a refresh. Our luncheon buffet is easy forgettable or another way to put it - it sucked. I recognize you get what you pay for but show some pride in the food preparation! The chicken was dry, the tomato sauce needed to be cooked and some spices added (I hate when you can taste the tin of the can because the sauce was dumped in a pot and warmed up), and the vegetables were swimming in some butter water liquid. The food earns zero stars! The servers were very nice, helpful and attentive to all the guests. The adult guests had a great time socializing and the children had a blast hanging out and playing games. It was a very nice afternoon catching up with family and friends. I came here for drinks last night, so I can't speak to the food and this review will be short. The ambiance is just lovely. We came here last night for the first time (mid-November) and the entryway was adorned with stunning Christmas trees. Of course we had to snap a photo! We stopped in the bar on a lower level. The crowd was lively, upscale but not too stuffy or overbearing. My boyfriend had a whiskey sour called What Thyme Is It? and enjoyed it. I had a Rose. The beverage list isn't extensive, but I'm also not a big drinker. The service was at a reasonable speed.
