We only heard noise one morning, there were guests staying for a youth baseball tournament and they got a bit loud. Other than that, I had restful nights. The buffer breakfast was pretty good! Several options for those with and without dietary restrictions, teas, and coffee. The location is also cool to walk around and explore fb shops and restaurants. So if you don't want to make the drive to downtown Charleston, there tons to do! It's also close to Shem Creek, which we enjoyed. This hotel isn't terrible, but it could use a few upgrades. For what it is, and the location, AND the yummy breakfast, this was a good choice.

The lobby has lots of comfortable seating with several places to charge your electronics. There's a very nice fireplace for a group to hang out. The bar/restaurant is pretty nice too. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The bathroom is nice with bluetooth mirrors! The hotel also offers a shuttle to downtown Charleston which is less than 10 minutes over a bridge. Since it's not downtown it's reasonably priced.

This I specifically called about so it was a disappointment that the shuttle service wasn't Available on a Monday or Sunday! The only bright spot was a delicious cosmopolitan from the bar! I wouldn't recommend this location unless you had transportation or need last minute booking close to downtown. The Uber cost was $10 to downtown.

Jenifer helped us with the check-in with all the little things that we needed throughout our stay from bottles of water to coffee in our room to laundry.. the valet which I had four of them while I stayed here at the hotel were all prompt. They had my car waiting for me when I arrived from out of my hotel room they washed and wiped down my vehicle every morning before I exited for a day of of shopping and dining and experiencing the local entertainment and museums. next if you've never stayed at a boutique hotel, you deserve to treat yourself to experience where they treat you like a person not a guest, where they know you by name not a number where your room feels like you're not far from home then in an airport and that's what the hotel Richemont delivers each and every day. the coffee in the morning was outstanding the croissants, Sweet and fresh. With the name of the hotel, I'm guessing the decor was trying to some La Belle Époque feel to it. The small table at the end with couch was a nice touch. I also appreciated the microwave and minibar, even though I did not end up needing it. The bed was rather comfortable and not too hard/soft. The small couch underneath the tv on the wall was a bit strange. The space could have been used better, especially since there's already the couch with the table on the far side of the room. The bathroom was decent and clean, though the shower looked very sterile. I kinda felt like being at a gym or locker room. But this is a ticky-tack critique. While there are closer hotels to the French Quarter and other spots, you're still pretty close to everything here. Yet, it's just off the main area enough for it to be quite cozy and quiet.

As you check-in at the front desk, you'll see that they also offer complimentary coffee and water at front. The also look to have a fridge of snacks and drinks you can grab at a cost and offer 10% off entrees at Delaney's oyster next door. They were beautifully decorated for the holidays, with an adorned tree in the front conference room/ lobby hangout space. I didn't spend any time there, but I imagine it's a good spot for sitting with a laptop to get some work done. One thing to note is when arriving very late after a night out, my key didn't open the front doors. I had to push the call button many times for 5+ minutes until someone came by to let me in. It was a bit unnerving standing out front alone in the dark, so they may want to make sure that is working after hours! The room was perfect and had everything I needed! I couldn't believe I found this level of boutique hotel in my budget, and highly highly recommend it for future stays!

This was my first trip to Charleston for work. After seeing that this was one of Drury's newer…read morehotels, I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. The hotel is excellent. It is not in the most scenic part of Charleston, but it is convenient to plenty of food options and only a short drive to downtown. Traffic can get busy in the afternoons, but that seems to be the case just about anywhere. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. You can tell this property is still fairly new. One of my favorite parts of Drury stays is the extras, and this location delivered. Free popcorn is available anytime, and the 5:30 Kickback was one of the better ones I have experienced. They serve a full dinner, and you get three free drinks. You could easily stay in and have a full meal without leaving the hotel. The pool was clean and well-maintained. I used the gym every day. It has your typical hotel gym equipment. The only improvement I would suggest is better cleanliness in the gym area. I stayed in a king suite, which was very spacious. It would be a good setup for a family as well. The bed was softer than I prefer, and the pillows were fine but nothing special. Overall, the room was comfortable and roomy. If you are expecting a luxury or boutique hotel, this is not it. That is not what Drury is trying to be, and that is perfectly fine. I have stayed at plenty of Hampton Inns and similar hotels. This was a much better experience.
