Hotel key stopped working during the middle of the stay and had to waste time at the front desk to get it fixed. We saw that they allowed others to check in early, but we weren't allowed when requested.

Disgusting. Horrible chemical smell. Filthy. Creepy. Definitely one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at

***Beware*** I Booked a room last night at 11 pm, this morning my boyfriend requested a late checkout and decided to rebook the room in his name since I needed to checkout and leave. The heavy set girl Leslie in the office asked my boyfriend for his ID and credit card and rebooked the room leaving it in my name. I called the front desk and told her she needed to ask for his ID and rebook the room in his name to which she replied that she did ask for ID. I told her that my boyfriend and I do not share the same last name since we are not married nor was he listed on the room and that she needed to book the new reservation in his name. The heavy set girl Leslie who apparently doesn't understand how to do her job, then began cussing and threatened to cancel the room and call metro PD since it was 11:30. I told her that was fine because I was leaving anyway. I video taped the room just to ensure I'm not being accused of anything since they're shady. I told my boyfriend that he needed to get a cancellation receipt, which he went back and did and again the heavy set girl Leslie began cussing at him about me. I printed the cancellation receipt and attached it to show that last nights 1-16-23 reservation was booked in my name with my CC and todays reservation 1-17-23 was booked under my boyfriend's CC but the room remained in my name and no where was his name included. Also we called early this morning around 4:21 am to report our neighbors fighting and screaming and they did nothing. The fighting continued until a little after 7am. Believe the reviews when they tell you this place is a dump and the employees are just as ghetto.

So as I write this I'm currently laying in the bed. I booked this room about a week in advance, and it was for a specific event I was going to so to me it was last minute which caused me to be on a budget. I was not expecting the greatest but hoooly cow I wasn't expecting something like this. It is completely run down. Our sink didn't have a hot water knob The pool was closed for the season, understandably, and the staff was not rude in my interaction. However I also think my car was hit, left the room at 630 and came back around 1am to a new car dent on my passenger side. Let's also talk about the fact that while waiting for a taxi driving from the aria, and the taxi driver asked, I QUOTE, why are you guys staying at that shit hole? Lol that one actually made me and my partner laugh It's cheap and it's Vegas so it's sleazy, we booked last minute and only stayed the night. Overall I hated it here but it worked for the time

Place is infested with bed bugs and offers no refunds even if you are in the habit of checking the room for pests before leaving your items unattended. Motel told my small claims attorney 3 days in a row the manager is planning to call him the following morning, only to block all private numbers so he couldn't call from his law office, that's when I realized I wasn't dealing with people, but vermin. I suspect management posts positive reviews under sock accounts so I hope they read this, the state health and tourism boards cannot be pacified with a $50 refund, and as you were screening calls to hang up on my attorney instead of coming to a conclusion I spent the better part of the afternoon learning the terms and conditions on your website are a lie waving any power your refund policy shield holds, but I contacted every state entity willing to listen and the visual and audio evidence collected by my attorneys law office will leave your criminal galaxy condemned. The owner want to consider throwing yourself at the judge's knees when you are summoned to small claims court for a class action lawsuit.

Yeah, so, it was a cheap hotel room. So it's not great, except at being a cheap hotel room, LOL. On the non-strip side of highway 15, this place is fairly convenient (aka easy walking distance of southern strip casinos like NYNY and Excalibur). I only paid $67 (plus fees and taxes) for a room whereas most of the big name hotels were at least double that. They've got plenty of rooms, plenty of parking, free wi-fi, a laundry facility, and a pool. The room has a microwave and mini fridge in it (the latter of which I've found to be less frequent an amenity in Vegas cuz they want you to buy drinks in the city while you're out and about), so big kudos to this place on that. The room was clean, though there is linoleum for the flooring rather than carpet so not particularly cozy. Small flatscreen TV. The shower has pretty low pressure but had enough hot water for me to enjoy getting clean. Sadly only one small towel and few linens provided for two people but plenty of soap/shampoo? The beds were a little hard but not atrocious. They have a policy for quiet hours after 10pm so we even had a restful sleep! Though of course there is significant constant road noise from the freeway (more like white noise to me). All in all pretty agreeable for a cheap stay! Just don't expect any level of luxury and save your money for those slots! ;)

If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. I don't know what's worse: the fact that there were nasty stains all over the sheets, the fact that the A/C was broken and stuck on one temperature, the fact that there was literal shit smeared on the walls in the bathroom, the fact that there were cigarette burns on the blanket, the fact that despite the room being a "non-smoking" room, it REAKED of nicotine the moment we stepped into the room, or the fact that they made us pay over $250 a NIGHT and tried to charge us an extra $30 to stay until noon. This all doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of how nasty and dirty this place was. It should be shut down and considered a public safety hazard.

    Roaches on the walls
    Marlene G.

Wow this is the most disgusting hotel with the worse service. I have pictures of roaches in our room, the floors were disgusting, they turned the water off without notifying us, they do not supply towels and their idea of complimentary breakfast is 2 stale bagels and a brown banana. I have tried to contact the owner/manager Carlotta Mckeever everyday for 8 days and she refused to talk to me and passed a message thru the receiptionist that she received my pictures and complaints and will not refund me and will not talk to me. How professional is that???????????????? I honestly hope they shut this crappy hotel down! I will post this all over social media!

A single towel on the toilet tank. Not a single towel bar in the place.

After checking in to the Hotel Galaxy, I wish we'd just slept in our car. I should have gone to Yelp and checked out the reviews before booking on Hotels.com. (And Hotels.com should be ashamed of sponsoring such a terrible place on their site!). We got a nail in our tire on the freeway just outside of Vegas. After changing to the spare at 11:00 pm, there wasn't any repair place shop open, so I reserved a room at this horrid place. We unlocked the door to our room and reached in to flip on the lights, but no light came on, we made our way by cell phone light and discovered a single bulb in the bathroom would have to illuminate the entire space. At the front desk we'd been assured a nonsmoking room, but this room had been smoked in for years. The walls were oozing nicotine and even in the dimness we could see the burn holes in the bedding. The sheetrock behind the door was caved in. The AC had a hole punched in it and a wad of toilet paper was squished into it. There was a smear of blood on the molding next to the bathroom door, another on a chair, the walls were covered in more things I won't even list. Wires hung down where the smoke detector should have been. And the curtains were ripped from the window rod. There was only one thin graying towel laying on the toilet tank. I marched down to the office and started down my list of complaints. The front desk girl just looked at me and said, "no refunds" as she slid another dingy towel to me through the slot in the window. We spent the most miserable night on a bed as hard as cinderblock and the AC roaring like a cement truck full of gravel. We were waiting in line to check out by 6:00 am and were parked in front of a tire repair shop by 7:00 waiting to fix the tire so we could get the hell out of Vegas and put as many miles as possible between us and the Hotel Galaxy.

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

The lobby where we checked in was super dark and moody. There was a lot of seating and nice decor. It was chilly in there which felt like a nice escape from the Vegas heat. It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There is a desk, flat screen TV, sofa, and small wardrobe. The closet is pretty spacious and has some robes, slippers, and a steamer. The sofa was very stiff and honestly looked a bit dingy. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
