This place is beautiful. Very well run. All of the staff and especially Dave took excellent care of me. The attention to detail and going beyond is what sets this hotel apart. I do a lot of traveling and can tell you with experience this hotel is rare. I look forward to my next trip to El Paso.

Mid-century modern is my favorite housing style and décor, and this is exactly that. Hotel Indigo El Paso Downtown has that flair to it, that's stylish, hip and cool. Plus, the downtown location, walking distance to many restaurants and establishments is convenient. We checked in on a Friday evening and the lobby is actually upstairs after you drive up to the garage area where the parking is for guests. They only have valet parking here, which is $18 a day. When we arrived at the lobby, we heard live music playing, which was nice. We were told that they have live music until 1am on the weekends, and they ask guests to sign a document acknowledging this. For us, we didn't mind. But I can see why this would not be good for others if they need a quiet space for sleeping, etc. It's definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking at booking here for a weekend. The hotel had everything we needed - AC, wifi, a big, comfortable bed, etc. Our room had a TV, plenty of lighting/lamps, good shower, toiletries, teas, coffee and a kettle. However, it didn't have a fridge, which was surprising. The amenities are nice here. There's a pool that's right by the lobby and is off of the patio area where the bar and live music was. They also had a gym here, as well as a restaurant on site. I did notice that it's dog friendly, which is always a big star in my book! My partner and I were only staying here for a night as we were making El Paso a starting point for our road trip. However, I wouldn't have minded staying another night, especially to see more of the city. But next time! Good stay.

Pool time yall! It's 102° but in the water it's perfect.

Okay! Cute, adorable, chic, new, trendy. D (at the bar/restaurant by pool) AMAZING! Fire alarms going on "this has never happened before" well into the night not so cool or chic. The room is perfect with a view of the pool. It's gets hot y'all so keep window blinds shut. We had to get a small fan to help. It's 102° of course it gets warm. The staff has been kind and again, D! She served us by the pool, she brought iced water out with every round we had! That's just incredible service and she's so friendly! Anyway, love it!

I forgot to post a review but this was for my fabulous stay back in September. The Hotel Indigo was the best overall stay and experience for me and my family. We appreciate your hospitality from everybody from the Front Desk to the Valet, and Housekeeping. We enjoyed the Downtown view to the Friday nightlounge and pool. The restaurant was close to the ballpark where we had fun. The breakfast and lunch hit the spot. Thank you again Hotel Indigo for closing out our Summer in a memorable way.

Willian at front desk was amazing. He not only accommodated the state but went above and beyond to provide perfect customer service. I'd come back again anytime

Great location. Clean rooms and greet staff. Fifth floor host a really nice bar and a pool. Very serene spot for teleworking first thing in the morning. The gym is on a small side, consisting of only a couple treadmills some free weights a peloton air climber. Three people working out, makes it feel crowded

Hotel Indigo was home base for me for a quick work trip to El Paso, and I loved it! The hotel is in a great walkable location right downtown and I felt super safe there traveling alone. The lobby is on the 5th floor. My room wasn't ready when I arrived early, but I hung out on a shady couch near the pool and enjoyed the warm weather and my book. My 9th floor room was ready at the regular check in time. My view was awesome - I could see the pool and mountains from my room. This was great so I could tell if the pool was busy (spoiler alert, it never was while I was there) before heading downstairs. The bed was super comfortable, the AC was working, and I loved the big shower. I would have liked a mini fridge for leftovers and water, but that was really my only small complaint about the room itself. Working USB ports right by the bed were great! I would honestly give five stars for the pool alone - it was so peaceful and calming with the waterfall, awesome view, and great atmosphere. It was never crowded, and the varied seating was nice - the three cabanas were usually taken but I was happy to sit in the full sun with plenty of SPF! There was a mix up with a Door Dash order that my friend tried to send me on my last night - it was nowhere to be found, unfortunately. It might be helpful to have a sign in the entrance lobby downstairs that tells food deliveries to go up to the 5th floor lobby, since no one was manning the desk downstairs whenever I was down there. I only interacted with two different employees while at the Indigo - one was super nice and friendly and was trying to assist me with the Door Dash mix up. The other employee was less friendly but not rude. There is a bar inside by the pool area that serves food and drinks, and a restaurant downstairs that I'll write a separate review for. I would definitely stay here again!

100 stars if I could. Upset I was only here for the night. Staff is extremely pleasant upon check in and check out. The rooms are gorgeous and aesthetic, even the hallways are beautiful. Took a shower and it was the best hotel shower with a wonderful bath products that leave me wanting to buy them for myself. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, I slept like a baby for-sure my only complaint would be the blackout curtains not being dark enough for my own taste and the fact that valet is mandatory unless you want to park at a meter. Quality of the hotel outweighed those things though, just something to keep in mind with the parking if you are not planning on spending $$ for valet, I believe it was $23? Thank you hotel indigo and all the wonderful staff we encountered, especially the man working in the lobby on October 23rd , he was fantastic and helped us put our luggage in the car.

I arrived at midnight via Uber from the airport so I just wanted to go shower and straight to bed. I was hungry the next morning. I really wanted to have a positive experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton El Paso, but…read moreunfortunately, this has been one of the most frustrating hotel stays I have experienced. I am here for work for a total of nine nights, and within the first five days there has been an issue nearly every single day. The problems actually began at check in. My company had already prepaid for my room, but I was initially told that my personal card would be charged for the entire nine night stay. I was then told I would personally be responsible for a deposit of more than $200. It took approximately an hour to get everything straightened out. I later learned that my company had actually been charged twice for the room and had to have one of the charges reversed. On Monday, the air conditioning in my room was not working properly. When I called the front desk, I was actually told, "It's working, it's just not working well." That was the response to an acknowledged problem with the AC. Tuesday night, the smoke detector began chirping and disrupted my sleep. Wednesday brought a much more concerning problem. I was riding the elevator to the 7th floor when it stopped at my floor, but the doors did not open. I had to press the open door button several times before they finally opened and I was able to get out. Shortly afterward, I was told that the elevator was out of service and stuck on the 7th floor. It remained that way overnight. Housekeeping also did not service my room that day. Thursday night, at around midnight, my room phone rang three separate times from the front desk. They were trying to reach Room 801. I am in Room 702. After several long workdays, being repeatedly awakened around midnight because the front desk was calling the wrong room was incredibly frustrating. Then came Friday. I woke up to no running water. I tried calling the front desk and received no answer. I contacted the hotel through the Hilton app and received no response there either. I eventually went downstairs and found a small sign at the front desk saying that the water had been shut off because of an emergency. That small sign was the only notice I personally saw anywhere in the hotel. There had been no notification to my room or through the app that I saw. One or two inconveniences during a long hotel stay are understandable. Things break. Emergencies happen. But this has been one problem after another: billing confusion and a duplicate charge, malfunctioning AC, a chirping smoke detector, missed housekeeping, an elevator malfunction while I was inside it, three unnecessary midnight phone calls, no running water, unanswered calls to the front desk, and poor communication about the water shutoff. For someone staying here for work, these aren't insignificant inconveniences. I need to be able to sleep, shower, get ready for work, and return at the end of the day to a safe and functioning hotel room. There is, however, one person who deserves tremendous recognition: Antonio, one of the housemen. Antonio has been the bright spot of this stay. I have personally watched him go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. He is friendly, attentive, hardworking, and genuinely seems to care about the people staying here. In a stay filled with problems, his hospitality has stood out even more. I don't want the problems with this property to take anything away from an employee who is doing an exceptional job. Antonio deserves recognition at the highest level Hilton can provide. He represents exactly the kind of hospitality I expected when staying with Hilton. He is the only reason I am giving this location 2 stars. Unfortunately, one outstanding employee cannot compensate for the number of operational, maintenance, communication, and safety issues I have experienced during this stay. At this point, with several nights of my reservation still remaining, I should not be wondering what is going to go wrong next. I sincerely hope Hilton and the management of this property take these concerns seriously, particularly the elevator and smoke detector issues, and recognize Antonio for being an exceptional representative of hospitality despite everything happening around him.

The gentleman working the breakfast area was incredibly kind and frequently checked on guests. The manager (jet-black hair and a big black mustache) was also very friendly and welcoming. There's a Starbucks right in the parking lot. The lobby and exterior were attractive and well-maintained. You can tell someone takes pride in the property's appearance. Unfortunately, the guest rooms told a different story. Our first night was spent in a double queen room where the towels smelled strongly of mildew and the heater took forever to warm the room. For the remainder of our stay, we moved into a king suite with a rollaway bed. Initially I was excited. More space, bigger bed, huge closet, and even a balcony! Then reality set in. The balcony was filthy and the view wasn't exactly something I'd call scenic. The bathroom doorknob was broken, the bathroom door didn't fit properly in the frame, and the ceiling was actually coming down. Every time the door opened or closed it scraped against the ceiling. There was also a leak under the sink, forcing us to use our bath towels to soak up water. The biggest disappointment, however, was the housekeeping staff. Several employees appeared visibly irritated when we declined room service early one morning. One employee became noticeably upset and began loudly speaking in Spanish while looking directly at me. When I asked if there was a problem, the answer was "No." Whether there was a misunderstanding or not, the interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I reported it to the front desk, but it seemed to be brushed aside. Overall, the hotel staff at the front desk and breakfast area were wonderful, but the condition of the room and the housekeeping experience overshadowed the positives.

I arrived late in the evening and the lady at the desk rushed me through check in without bothering to inform me of the amenities or when breakfast was served. I'm very familiar with these things but this was the first time they were not mentioned. I was given the option to pick which floor I would like to be on and I chose the ground floor. I'm usually assigned to the second or third floor so I thought not having to go up the stairs would be nice for a change. Oh how wrong I was... My room was really close to the lobby and I could hear the muffled voices and shuffling of every person who walked through the area. Someone had a really bad cough and they weren't being quiet about it. I went to the soda fountain a couple of times during the night to refill my cup and the lady at the desk scowled at me every time. I guess I was interrupting the videos she was watching on her phone. The noise from the lobby eventually quieted down and I was able to fall asleep around midnight, but then I was abruptly woken up at 5am by the fire alarm. I wasn't sure what it was at first because it was a sharp shriek that cut off and repeated every 10 seconds or so instead of a continuous siren like most fire alarms. I went out into the hall to see other guests wondering what was going on. I went to the front desk and another employee was fiddling with the emergency controls in the red box on the wall. She was manually silencing the alarm every time it went off, which explained the sudden cut off in the noise. She asked what I wanted and I asked if there was an emergency and if we needed to evacuate. She nonchalantly told me that someone was either smoking in their room or tampering with the fire alarm but there was no emergency. I was concerned about the latter statement but she told me there was nothing she could do about it. She was on the phone with someone (maybe the management, or maybe the fire department) but I was too irritated to care so I went back to my room. Many more guests had entered the lobby in various states of confusion and concern but they were also told "no emergency." I tried going back to sleep but I couldn't due to all the other people in the area, and then I started hearing what I thought was an air compressor filling it's tank. I couldn't figure out what the noise was exactly, but it happened every 5 minutes and would last about 30 seconds before stopping. I went back to the hallway and looked at the elevator but it made a different sound. Since sleep was no longer an option, I stayed awake and packed up around 7:30am. On my way to the lobby I heard the sound again and realized that it was being made by these two commercial refrigerators in a closet at the end of the hall. I was sort of right in the fact that it was a compressor making the noise, but I didn't think a refrigerator was the cause. There was a different lady at the desk and she didn't ask about my stay when I checked out. She asked if I wanted my receipt, but that was it. If she was informed about the chaos that happened a few hours earlier, I imagine she didn't want guests to have the invitation to complain by asking "how was everything?" I was too tired and pissed off to say anything so I left. I had booked my reservation three weeks ago and got a great deal on the one night for $80 (it was actually $95 after taxes). My previous stay at this hotel was about three months ago and after last night, I'm seriously reconsidering staying at this hotel again. Oh, there's also an abandoned van sitting in the parking lot. It's been out there for at least five months and the tires are all flat. I asked the staff about it during my last stay because I keep seeing it but they told me it wasn't their concern. So a broken down, abandoned vehicle languishing in your parking lot isn't your concern? Ok.

The valet service was fantastic as well--I never had to worry about parking, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The gym was also well-equipped, with towels provided, a good variety of equipment, and even a Pilates machine. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff, particularly a morning employee named Edgar, left a very negative impression. On more than one occasion, I returned to the hotel and stood outside the entrance for 15-20 minutes waiting to be let in.
