It has an easy access for taxi service, a Lime scooter parking out front and a 24 hour front desk. It's an old building with lots of charm as well. We spent two nights here and everything was right at our fingertips. The beds were decent, the elevator was large enough for bags (yes, that can be an issue in older places) and the staff were helpful. Our room had really high ceilings and was just what we needed to crash in after a long day sightseeing.

The ambiance is definitely a vibe. The esthetics are phenomenal and as soon as you walk in, it is an instant wow! Vanessa was the receptionist who checked us in and she was pretty nice to us. She made sure all of the boxes were checked such as us having our passport, to ensuring we parked in a great location. There is street parking and garage parking but we opted for street parking this time. The room we were placed in had a view of the river and the lighting was nothing but perfect! It was spectacular for pictures. I was in awe of the actual room and was amazed by the decor. Needless to say, they had a Nespresso machine in the room and I am HUGE on Nespresso machines being made available for a hotel stay. In the morning, we had unlimited breakfast with mimosas and it was fantastic. My only regret was the fact that I didn't take advantage of the spa, but had I been in Czech longer, I would have had a spa treatment for sure. Let's get into the Bar on the first floor. We were introduced to some of the best wine I've had in a while. The penthouse has a bar/lounge area which is beyond dope. It's called the Casablanca and the drinks are signature drinks! The service was great there as well. **My only suggestion would be to supply wash clothes for the guests. In the U.S., all rooms have face clothes, hand towels and body towels, so this would be an awesome addition if possible. Otherwise, my stay was perfect and I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Avoid at all costs!…read more The entrance has about a half flight of stairs and the bellhop stands inside a window glaring at you while you drag your items up the stairs, no friendly greeting or offer to help. The front desk people are sitting there, looking at their cell phones and act like you are invisible. When they finally decide to address your presence they act like they're doing you a favor checking you in. We booked a room that was supposed to be a luxury room with a view of the river. The room was a tiny box with a bathroom, with a window at the end. They charged us the full price for this room, but never divulged the fact that our room was actually overlooking a construction site with a distant view of the river. In the closet, there was one pair of slippers for two people, and no robes. we asked if they could send some robes up, what they delivered were threadbare robes with a rough unpleasant texture, one of them had the pocket torn and halfway hanging off. The bath towels were similarly disgusting. My girlfriend went to take a bath, but the stopper was broken, and the tub wouldn't hold water. Our stay was for a couple of days, including over New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve we wanted to go up to see if we could have a drink at the bar overlooking the city. Even as guests staying in one of the priciest rooms, we were told we weren't allowed by some snotty young women because they were having a New Year's Eve party. We looked around the corner and the place was basically empty - this was well into the evening, so it's not like the where I was going to pick up, I think they were just afraid they might have to do some work or wait on someone. We went down to the lower lobby bar to get a couple of glasses of champagne and again it took forever to actually get anyone to provide any service. The night before we left, my girlfriend, unfortunately, came down with a fever. Somewhat later in the evening, she asked if I could go down and get some water. I asked at both the front desk and the bar if they could provide us with a couple of carafes of water for her to drink throughout the night. They said they didn't have water like that available for guests and tried to sell me bottles of water - there were literally empty carafes on the counter behind the bar. They suggested that I walk to one of the local stores to buy water if I needed more than the small bottles they were willing to sell me. This was one of three hotels we stayed at on our trip, including in London and Salzburg. This was the most expensive room by far as we thought we would splash out for New Year's Eve, and it was by far the worst room and service of any of them. They basically ruined our entire holiday. As a note, on the site that I originally booked through, all of the other other hotels ask you for reviews after your stay, but this one somehow managed to block us from even being able to leave a review on that site as we told the manager how unhappy we were, and they were not willing to do anything for us. I assume they did it preemptively knowing a bad review was coming. I would give this property zero stars if it was possible .

There were three of us and there were three single beds. The room was clean, there were enough outlets. Breakfast was included in why we paid so that was a nice touch. There were plenty of options for breakfast, both sweet and savory. My stepson even tried honeycomb once. Staff was great for the most part. I'd stay again given the chance.

The room was beautifully decorated and had tons of space for our clothes and items, which we found rare compared to other hotels we stayed at in Europe. The room itself and view from the hotel room overlooking the caste and Charles' Bridge was definitely a highlight of the trip. The staff were so kind and helpful to our stay and the room was so clean and organized when we got back every day. We'd often come back to little desserts and surprises in the room for us! Would definitely stay here again if we return.

And forget checking in early (even if you have been traveling for 18 +hours. They stick by the 4pm check-in. *Please note we tried to book (pay for) the additional evening even though we wouldn't arrive until 11am the next day - but to no avail. We were exhausted, so we ended up sitting in their lobby (*sometimes you just can't find the energy to tour the city while waiting for check-in). They gave us a room about an hour early, but it was one of the worst ones possible (guess they didn't like us sitting there with our luggage?!) Room 329 is an inside room - NEXT to the glass elevator, so if your curtains are open EVERYONE in the elevator has a crystal clear view of you! They are less than 3ft away! Hard to be positive about our 3-night stay when it was in one of their worst rooms. I would make sure I was higher up and perhaps a city view...

It was well broken up with various stops so it went very well. This lovely hotel was central to everything... Transportation, restaurants, stores (and a mall). Our room was a nice with plenty of space and a good size bathroom. The room comes with robes and slippers for comfort. There is a nice size T.V. but I found watching TV in Europe was very challenging. The only English speaking stations were news. The stay came with a wonderful [very] complete breakfast and the restaurant was operated by a very well known chef. Busy every evening and there was a sister restaurant across the street, No problem, we love Italian food and the restaurant around the corner was visited twice while we walked down the block to yet another Italian restaurant the last evening. We did a fair amount of sightseeing in Prague and the hotel was very centrally located as to make them all walkable.
