We worked with the Holiday Inn for our wedding and reserved a block of rooms. Our guests were very happy with the Holiday Inn and enjoyed their stay there. Working with Teresa Kaucher, the sales coordinator, for the blocks of room was also great. She was very professional and very helpful and kind to our guests (several commented on this to us). The hotel is one of the few in the area and it does sell out, so be sure to pay attention to the date that the rooms are released and book in advance if you have a wedding. read more

Nice room services, but HORRIBLE Wifi throughout my stay. Expect the Wifi to disconnect/stop working at anytime, and be ready to spend a couple of minutes going through redundant steps to re-validate your identity and re-connect. In addition, the 4G/LTE here doesn't really have good signal, prolly due to the structure and location of the hotel huilding. All in all, get prepared to live quite a internet-scarce life during your stay here. read more

This review was made after the renovations. The Mt. Kisco Holiday Inn is a convenient, very clean hotel that is perfect for the business traveler or a family pit stop. The staff was very helpful and made sure the kids were aware of the free cookies in the lobby and gave them the passwords to the free wifi. As every parent knows these are critical items that can make travel much more enjoyable. I have to thank the staff at this Holiday Inn for their taking in myself and so many others who were stranded in the 11/15/18 snow storm. They had no rooms but allowed anyone who came in to take shelter in their lobby for as long as needed. They pumped up the heat so we would be warm, kept the restaurant and bar open late. It was a safe haven for so many that got caught. Thank you Holiday Inn for your generosity. read more

Stayed here for a friend's wedding and was impressed. Was definitely nicer than most Holiday Inns. Unfortunately couldn't get a king bed as the rooms booked up fast, so got stuck in a double. Prices were tad high for typical Holiday Inns - approximately $140 for the night (which was a group rate), so must be even more as a normal guest. The best part was Teddy's Nighclub - they had live music playing which is where the after party was for the wedding. It was a blast! read more

The internet is horrible here, and they know it and do nothing about it. Worse - it is also a blackhole for ATT (so your phone won't work well either). Housekeeping standards could be better too. I have had to i) request them to come clean when they forget, ii) clear the trash, and iii) change sheets. read more

My husband and I were married on 10/15/2011 and we used the Holiday Inn as the hotel of choice for out of town guests. Caprice was very helpful in coordinating everything and letting me know how many people had booked under our reserved block of rooms and helping me with other questions that arose. The reason for my 1 star is for the extreme lack of organization within the hotel reservation department. I received a call at my rehearsal from my bridesmaid (who was traveling with her significant other as well as her 3 children, all of who were my flower girls) saying they didn't have a room for her. Impossible, I said, since I had booked the room myself and had the confirmation information in my email. I got on the phone with the front desk clerk, only to find out they had double booked my soon to be Husbands room and my soon to be sister in laws room. Of course, the hotel was 100% sold out for the weekend. I spoke/argued/yelled with a manager and no remedies were provided, except for a minor discount for our troubles. There were no offers of, let me call another hotel and arrange transportation or let me check my computer to see what we can do, zip, zero, zilch. Ultimately my Husband roomed with 4 other people in order to squeeze everyone in on the night before the wedding. Breakfast seemed unremarkable and expensive, so the next day we went to the Mount Kisco Diner as the prices they were charging for a buffet of eggs, waffles and bacon was absurd. Since they're the only hotel in the area, I suppose they can afford not to be very accommodating as out of towners would be out of luck. If you do need to stay at this hotel, be sure to triple confirm ALL reservations as they clearly do not know how to use a computer. read more

Since the renovation, I can give this 3 stars instead of 2. Having been a customer here for many years, I would rate this as a reliable but mediocre hotel. The price is high but there are few options in the boonies if you don't want to drive another 10-15 min, Here are concrete improvements: 1) Please throw away the smelly shower curtains. About one in 5 visits have me in a smelly bathroom and it is ALWAYS the shower curtain. 2) Get better wifi. Depending on the room, the bandwidth ranges from poor to ok. So this will cost a bit but it's VERY important for almost everyone. 3) Get an even denser memory foam pillow as an option and put it in the closet. Only costs $50. 4) Install hair dryer mounted on the wall. This costs only $30. 5) Install fold down ironing board so I don't have to lug that thing out every time. A few hundred. read more

Terrible....when we checked in yesterday the front desk guy was less than enthusiastic....he couldn't even break a smile or a sincere hello or thank you. The room was ok and clean and cool...the lobby and hallways were very hot and suffocating. Our headboard a had a tear and my charger did not for any of the sockets because everything was very outdated. For what we paid I would have expected better. read more

Clean room, comfortable bed. But the hotel is rundown and kind of depressing, rooms smell like some kind of air freshener, and the breakfast was horrendous. Breakfast: Coffee was watery but I guess was ok, but the pancakes tasted very artificial, as if made from fake flour or cooked in a rancid vegetable oil. Fake syrup, and mountains of some sort of fake spray-on whipped cream even though I asked that they not put any on. Disgusting. Nothing on the whole menu would work for a person who just wanted a bagel and a side of fruit. And the reason I drank coffee, at all, was that the tea tasted like very dilute coffee with a tea bag in it, One positive note: it had been a very long day, and I wanted a glass of wine... At the bar, the rather friendly bartender warned me that the wines had been open for days. At his suggestion, tried a "Hudson" bourbon. I'm not a hard-liquor drinker, normally, but in fact this was a nice bourbon. Nice guy and he steered me to something good. Should have asked him about other breakfast options! read more

This hotel is absolutely wonderful; staff is so friendly, everyone from front desk staff to housekeeping! Rooms are nice and I had a very nice view of the woods. The Christmas tree in the Lobby is huge next to the cozy fireplace. There is a restaurant and lounge that is also a very nice added convenience. I find it close to a lot of things; Katonah is just a few minutes away with lovely restaurants, shopping etc. I highly recommend this hotel and I travel often in and out of the US. To the staff and general manager thank you for making my stay feel like a home away from home. read more

Hotel itself is nothing special. Need a serious facelift. The price is high for the area but I was working in the area so it was convenient. The staff was what really ruined my experience. I can deal with mediocrity but not incompetence. They manage to screw up my payment method twice. While making me feel as if it was my fault. No smiles not even a hello when I entered. It felt like they didn't want my business even though the parking lot was empty. After all this I walked a football field to my room. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning. If the Shinning wants to film a reboot perfect hotel for the job. Don't give them your business. They don't deserve it!!! read more

I needed a place to stay in Mount Kisco and booked a room here in spite of the tepid reviews on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. I stayed from Monday to Thursday and had no issues with noise. I was pleased to have a mini fridge to keep breakfast. Unfortunately it was too early in the season to use the pool. The internet was a bit dodgy. read more

This place served as my apartment when I worked in Westchester. The rooms need updating and they do not have an elevator to get upstairs. The staff was friendly. The restaurant served decent food. The bar was popular. The pool was great especially during the summer months when it was 90 degrees with 80% humidity. There are great places to visit and see in the surrounding areas. Great outlet malls about 45 minutes north, great trails and hiking. Close to Stamford CT and IBM leadership center (great for meetings). You can see all the trees change color in the fall. read more

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The staff was very nice but clearly there is not much service they provide. The rooms are decent size but the bathrooms are absolutely tiny. The bar and restaurant were there for convenience and not something people would actually enjoy. read more

A very pleasurable experience for the price. We recently stayed there for a 50th high school reunion. The room couldn't have been nicer -- and the hotel is super dog friendly. The room decor was pleasant and the bed amazingly comfortable. Plus, I had a fantastic steak at the banquet where the service was efficient and friendly. The only problem was the bar where three waitresses/ bar tenders were so busy chatting, they couldn't be bothered to take orders or money from us in an otherwise empty bar. read more
