Super clean Super comfortable- appreciate the couch and chairs Lots of parking Attention and commitment to a very clean and calm aesthetic throughout the entire hotel, from the front desk to the showers. Bike parking Gym Pool Right off the River path Friendly hard working staff. Not sure why folks don't like it? Breakfast is- meh. But otherwise no complaints.

King bed with fireplace room

We scored a beautiful top floor king bed room with a fireplace! Priceline had a great deal! Including a Wonderful breakfast buffet with cappuccino in the morning! Everything was fabulous except the Jacuzzi was super cold! We were told they were waiting for a part to repair it

Upon walking in the lobby we received a friendly greeting and got our keys to the room quickly. We got the suite which sleeps six and dog friendly. It was the perfect size and room was clean! It's located about 5 minutes drive to the west side breweries and restaurants. When I visit Bend again I will stay here.

The grossness I wiped from sink area

The front desk staff was nice. But this is our second room. The first one had food crumbs left on the counter under the television. Both rooms are filthy.

I overall like the hotel. I came across this hotel when I googled in area. I like that they offer decent complimentary breakfast, free self parking, nice size pool and has a recreational room on site. Disappointed that their pizza restaurant has changed to a Mexican restaurant which I didn't have a chance to try because kiddos wanted pizza after hitting the pool. Lobby was roomy, plenty of chargers while waiting for checking, nice little bar that also has kids friendly options. Friendly staffs. Pool was a nice size with hot tub. Area looks clean and had the bathroom and a shower area. Fitting room was ok with yoga balls and running machines. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Bacon, sausages, eggs and potatoes were the hot items. Also has pastries, toasts and muffins along with cereals plus fresh fruits. Now, let's get to the part that minus their stars. Upon entering the room, all looks good, decent size and plenty of towels. We had the double queen beds with two twins for the family. Both twin beds were missing the clean sheet that separate the blankets from touching your skin. We had to get them from the front desk and make the beds ourselves. The blankets had chocolate stains on both twin beds with hair under the blankets. We found hair ties on floor that belonged to the previous guest. One of the lights did not work and the fridge was very weak. I think overall the hotel is ok and has many nice details throughout the property but their housekeeping team need to be retrain.

A very comfortable stay in a posh, modern atmosphere that meshes well with the natural beauty it's nestled into at the south end of Bend. Breakfast had extra frills that started the day off on the right foot. All the staff was welcoming and helpful, I had a great time while visiting on a work trip.

Customer service is horrible, can't call to talk to anyone, only by text. Would 100% not recommend.

Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a hassle, but here, it felt like my dog was just as welcomed and pampered as I was. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted my dog with genuine warmth, offering treats, a cozy dog bed, and even special amenities that made the stay feel thoughtful and personalized. It wasn't just "pet-tolerant"--it was truly pet-celebrating. The attention to detail made a huge difference, and it was clear they go above and beyond for guests with furry companions. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are luxurious, and everything feels high-end without being pretentious. If you're traveling with your dog and want a place that treats both of you like VIPs, the Oxford Hotel is hands down one of the best choices out there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Bend again! Also, the coffee in the room was excellent!!

The Oxford Hotel has nice rooms and a great location, but unfortunately the customer service really…read moreovershadowed the experience. I accidentally left personal items in the room and am 100% certain they were left there. I contacted the hotel multiple times and they kept telling me they would follow up--but no one ever did. I never received a return call like they promised, a resolution, or any form of compensation, which was extremely disappointing for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, the staff I interacted with came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. A little accountability or basic courtesy would have gone a long way. For example I had to call down to the front desk 3 times in one morning just to get someone to bring toilet paper up to our room. For comparison, I had a much better overall experience at the Hampton Inn in Bend, where the service felt more professional and guest-focused. This is the hotel I usually stay at and it's always been a good experience, but this time I wanted an upscale experience since it was over New Years and I love an upscale hotel experience. I travel a lot and this was the worst experience I have had in a long time. The whole stay was very disappointing from the time we checked in, to our dining experience at their restaurant (they gave us a salad with croutons so hard they almost broke our tooth), clear up to the point we checked out. The rooms may be nice, but customer service matters more--and that's where this stay fell short.

I recently stayed here as I was driving back from Spokane to California. I'm actually sad to say…read morethat I only had one night here as I really loved the vibe of the place and would have loved to spend more time at the hotel. I knew of the McMenamins line of hotels due to a friend who had taken me to their Edgefield property when I was visiting. They had described the place as an adult Disneyland and that's a pretty good description for it. It had so many things going on above and beyond the hotel itself. So, when I saw that there was a McMenamins in Bend, OR I decided to try it out. It was a little hard to figure out where the main entrance was as I arrived in town when it was dark out. I managed to find a parking spot quickly, but I noticed as the evening went on it was packed with cars. The hotel is located on a corner toward the end of the downtown area and it's an easy, well lit walk to shops and restaurants. But, there are so many options to eat and drink at the hotel that you don't need to leave if you don't want to. The main part of the hotel where you check in has a rustic look to it. I hadn't made reservations as I was trying to see how far I could get toward home before stopping. It was a Sunday night and thankfully they had an opening. The two people at the front desk were very nice and helpful and I was able to get a room in the main building. As a solo, female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable not only in the hotel but in the town as well. I also found out that not only do they accept dogs, but they accept large dogs. And the bartender I spoke with said the town is very dog friendly. Although my dog wasn't with me on this trip I would love to return with him. My room was a decent size. It had a lot of different lighting options so it could have been very bright in there if I preferred or I could keep it more dimly lit. They make their own coffee, so they had four packets of coffee out (two with caffeine and two decaffeinated), a small coffee maker and some cream and sugars. I happened to get a room that was ADA compliant, so the bathroom was huge with a large walk/roll in shower. It was a lot of white tile and it was spotless. I was so tired and the room was so comfortable I would have been happy just staying in all evening. The grounds have several bars, a hidden speakeasy, a movie theater and a restaurant. So, if you decided to stay at the hotel then you would have plenty to keep you occupied. The patios had tons of heaters, so it was still pleasant to sit outside on a cold night. I was right next to the lobby, so I was a little worried it would be loud and it wasn't. I was also right next to where they set out a coffee station in the morning, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable and I couldn't have asked for more. I definitely plan on returning and staying longer, so I can take advantage of all the amenities they have to offer.

I can say that I had the perfect vacation staying at this hotel. To start, I made a reservation for…read morethe loft suite with a large balcony. It was perfect because the weather was great, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the amphitheater music in the evenings. If you have family that wants to go to bed before 10 p.m., the upstairs loft bedroom is perfect as it is quite soundproof. The downstairs had a bedroom and the bathroom plus a living room area. The room was very comfortable. The hotel has 3 floors and only one elevator, so sometimes we had to wait to get to and from our room. The lobby was nice and cozy. There is a fireplace and a small convenience store where you could get complimentary house coffee and iced water. They also had a container filled with dog treats and leashes. I also saw a few bikes outside that could be rented daily. The pool and hot tub were inside for year-round enjoyment, and the gym was perfect for a light workout. All the equipment worked and it was new and clean. The restaurant was definitely a hidden gem for breakfast. The woman who cooked the food on the weekday mornings was awesome. She sang while she cooked, and her food was that good. I ate way more than I wanted because it all looked great and was very fresh. Well worth the $14.00, or $4.00 if you had a voucher. Every morning, the selection was just a little different. The parking was good and you must put the plaquar in your window because if there is an event going on at the amphitheater, they will tow cars from the lot. The location is great for walking along the Deschutes River or doing a little eating or shopping in the Old Mill District. It is also a short walk to downtown Bend for other sightseeing.

My other complaint would be the fact that they didn't say anything ahead of time about the pool and spa being out of order, not listed on the site, not listed in the email not listed in anything. If I would've known that, I actually would've picked a different hotel. They did have a sign saying that you could go to one of their sister properties and use their Facilities, but the one with the hot tub was nowhere even near this location. You would have to drive to it. Hotel itself was clean, and they had the toothpaste I forgot to pack... but the beds truly are extremely awful. My other complaint would be just how loud the HVAC system was. Every time the AC kicked on it woke me up.
