I asked if there were rooms available, he said check in isn't until three amd I'm in the middle of something. I've always had the criticisms of a former coworker ringing in my ears about the Sleep Inn at Seatac. Papery walls, dirty, unsafe. Flip that over 180 degrees and many years later to the Sleep Inn in Redmond. I was fortunate to get a top floor suite. Appealing decor. Mini fridge and microwave. King bed and modernly styled bathroom that had a true walk-in shower that lacked any kind of barrier to enter. I always loved showers like that. I was rather surprised by the comfortable king bed, as well. They lack digital keys, so you do have to interact with the front desk for check-in but it's not the format of Choice Hotel's Quality Inn where you register and then drive to your building. Parking was free and the hot breakfast looked pretty typical for hotel chains everywhere in terms of cold and hot options: cereal, hard boiled eggs, bread and pastries, milk, juice, coffee, sausage, self-service waffles, reconstituted eggs. I filled up my coffee traveler and nothing else, so I can't speak for quality. The only drag is the price. If you don't want to make the drive to Bend, your options in Redmond itself are limited and the pricing seems to reflect that. There's only one Hilton property and a few Choice ones. It might be because of that that there aren't any cheap stays. I paid well over $200 for this room. Still, it's nice to know this is a viable option on my next visit. read more

Still a very nice place to stay in Redmond. I used the exercise room this time but didn't make it to the pool. Very snowy this time out but they kept the area shoveled and placed ice melt on the slick spots. Room was comfortable and enjoyed the fridge and microwave. We were facing the mall this time so there was no noise from either sides. Heard a few dogs bark but all in all a good quiet time. We left our do not disturb sign up a bit too long some mornings and missed the towel service but solved that with the front desk clerk, Meadow who was very friendly. ****A side note when I checked in on Yelp there was a coupon on Yelp for 15% off of our best available rate. The clerk said, yeah, we don't honor that. We can't change your bill. I said no one can? So, she asked the manager and she said, no Yelp hasn't paid us for last year so we no longer honor that. So, caveat emptor, my friends. The manager went on to say we have many specials on line if you stay three nights. I said, I stayed four night, she said well you have to make a reservation on the website. I said I did make a reservation on the website. And then she just walked away. Pretty good spot. I picked it because some other reviewers said it was quiet. The WiFi is okay. Slow. But better than a lot of hotels I've stayed at. The tv doesn't have Netflix or Hulu. But I was able to watch Bears football and Cubs baseball. So I'm good. The breakfast was better than most middle hotels I've stayed at. I made blueberry waffles. The in room coffee is a no name brand, but is superior to the stuff that Marriott has in their rooms. I never heard people walking down the hall. I'm in first floor. Didn't hear people above me either. I could hear the couple next door talking through the walls. The fan unit works okay but doesn't stay on constant. Good thing I carry a stereo and was able to play white noise. The bed was comfortable and pillows are very soft. I bring my own firm pillow. A basic room. Nothing fancy. We got in pretty late, and ordered two rooms for seven of us. And this was our first experience with Sleep Inn, but we've stayed in many Choice branded hotels. This was one of the best, if not the best! First, it was very clean and quiet. And the room was quite large, with very comfortable beds. Check in was fast and friendly, and the rooms were ready as requested. Internet was easy to log into. We weren't sure about the location, because the street was right in a residential area, and very quiet. But when we went out in the morning, it was just right... not in a big shopping center or mall, really a nice feel for the city. When we got up, we found the fitness center and the indoor pool, and they were fine. All the staff was excellent, especially the breakfast keepers and the cleaners... we left a generous tip, because they are just great! The common areas were pleasantly decorated, not overly ostentatious or busy. I would prioritize the Sleep Inn brand the next time we need a room, based on this stay. read more

Pool and hot tub were great and even with covid restrictions the staff did a wonderful job at keeping things clean and comfortable for everyone. My pets were happy with the stay as well. This is a great place to stay in Redmond. We had been driving for 7+ hours and when we got it in, we greeted by a very helpful staff. The check in process took less than 5 minutes and the room was everything we had expected. The room has a mini fridge and a microwave, which great because walmart is right across the street and you can stock up on water and other snacks. We didn't get to try the indoor pool and fitness center, but it looked cleaned and inviting. I would definitely stay here again. read more

I booked this hotel on Priceline and was a bit nervous because it was 2.5 stars, which was the highest rating for any hotel in Redmond on Priceline. I've found depending on the area a 2.5 star can be doable or a complete dump. This hotel ended up being a pleasant surprise. The hotel was so clean that the lobby smelled of bleach. Traveling during the Covid pandemic, the scent of bleach in the air is my favorite smell. You can never be too safe during these times. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was squeeky clean and the hot breakfast was bagged for you in the morning due to the encouragement of social distancing. After my stay here, I decided that I really do like smaller hotels/chains like this rather than the Hiltons, Marriotts and Westins of the world -- and I flew 83000+ miles last year, so I feel like I can judge hotels with some authority. The Sleep Inn at Redmond has a lot of things going for it. First, they have an airport shuttle that runs pretty much on request. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a pretty, clean lobby -- nothing too fancy, but definitely homey looking and comforting. All the desk agents I encountered were nice and friendly. Check in was a breeze, and so was checkout. The wifi is free, and it's good. The whole hotel itself is fairly new, and you can tell they keep in clean. I had a pretty standard room with a king bed, a small desk with an office chair, a couch you can lounge on, closet, a good-sized TV, fridge and microwave. The bathroom was fairly sizable as well. No tub but I liked the angled shape of the shower, and there was good water pressure without being wasteful of water. There was a set of wash essentials that even included makeup remover. I forgot my toothpaste (I'm constantly forgetting toothpaste when traveling!) and the front desk lady ran some up to my room, which I appreciated, as I've had some hotels not have any at all, some that asked me to buy it from their store, and some that did have it but asked me to come get it myself. Of course, it's my fault that I didn't have it, so I really do appreciate the courtesy that I received. They also have a continental breakfast from 6-10a that included the usuals: cereal, oatmeal, tea, coffee, bagels, toast, waffle maker. Slightly less usual are eggs, as well as biscuit and gravy. No fruit, but oh well. It's free. Choice Hotels (of which Sleep Inn is one brand) generally are newer and much friendlier than the more "luxury" hotels and for a better price -- and you don't get charged for wifi, parking, breakfast, what have you. If you travel to Redmond, OR, stay at this one. If you travel elsewhere, I highly suggest checking for one of these in the area. read more

I have no idea how long this place has been around, but it appears new. Very friendly young lady checked us in and about an hour early of check in time. The room is a good size with a light and bright feel to it. The walls must be well insulated as were the doors hefty to block out noise. I heard nothing even though the place was sold out. The beds are comfortable and the tv clear, I mean what else does one need ;-{) Oh and breakfast is included, but we did not partake so no opinion in this area. If you are comparing places to stay in Redmond, or want something fairly convenient to either Bend or Sisters, this is a great choice. It's on the north end of town, and from what I can tell, is fairly new. The staff is incredibly friendly, particularly Tiffany (sp?) at the front desk. After we headed out for an event, I was worried I forgot to unplug a straightening iron so we called them and they sent someone up to the room to make sure it was indeed unplugged. Also I totally got the check out time wrong - thought it was 12noon but it was 11a...which I realized at 11:30a. I called down to front desk and they just laughed and said no problem. Everything was incredibly clean and tidy. If you are looking for one of their 2 queen suite options try to get room 328 (includes pull out couch). It's in a corner on the 3rd floor and has a great view of the mountains. It's also dog friendly! There's a pool, somewhat small but nice if a bit cold at night, and a hot tub. Free breakfast in AM is more or less what you would expect - pastries, muffins, cereal, waffle maker, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, juices, fruit, coffee, yogurt, etc. Ample free parking. We'll definitely be back for any future trips to this area! read more

Newer looking than most Redmond hotels, the Sleep Inn is probably one of the higher-end hotel chains in the Choice Hotels family. Our room was very clean and had a microwave, fridge, laptop desk, and slipper chair & ottoman. Wifi is complimentary, as is a continental breakfast which I thought was better than most: fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice, oatmeal, and a do-it-yourself waffle iron were the main components. If you want a more substantial breakfast there is a restaurant called Chloe about 50 feet from the hotel lobby (not complimentary)...we didn't go there but I believe they're open for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The pool/hot tub area is indoors and appears well kept. We went for a late night soak, expecting the pool to close at 9 or 10, but they keep it open till midnight which I wish more hotels would do. Two words of warning: 1) the prices, while probably fine by Portland standards, are pretty high for Redmond and 2) there is a vet clinic adjoining the hotel property to the south. I don't know how often this happens, but both mornings we stayed here we awoke to the sound of a barking St. Bernard who had been kenneled right below our window (our room was on the south side of the hotel). So you might consider asking for a room on the north side of the hotel (the side closest to Chloe), especially if you plan to "sleep in" at Sleep Inn. read more

First stay at a Sleep Inn. I stay at Choice Brand hotels all the time. I had messed up a reservation at a Comfort Suites in town and, being full, they suggested this place. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice location close enough to the highway to be convenient yet far enough away to not get the traffic noise. Quiet residence area immediately to the west with nearby food conveniences and delivery options. Room was spacious to include a desk actually large enough for a laptop and leather folder. Large bathroom too with tub length vanity and actual shelves (not cubbies) in the shower enclosure. Comfortable beds with crisp sheets and clean spreads. TV even has a sleep timer (although you have to push the buttons on the side of the TV as it's a generic remote that doesn't have that function)! Minus one star for 4:30 am garbage pickup and 5:00 am Sysco foods delivery both with their semi truck air brakes and backup alarms - you're a hotel, tell them to come at a time that won't disturb your guests! All in all, in the future, whenever I'm in Redmond, I'll be staying here. read more

We had a flight arriving late into Redmond after a long day of travel with an infant, so we decided to stay in a hotel near the airport before heading to Sunriver for our vacation rental the next day. I did research and found that this hotel was highly rated, included breakfast, and had the option of a larger room to accommodate our baby, stuff and give us some room. It was easy to make the reservation on the website. I requested a crib, and it was waiting for us in the room, which I appreciated because it was late and we were ready to put the baby to sleep immediately. I was also happy to have a mini fridge, which I needed to store breastmilk for my baby. It was even cold when we arrived. We had a king suite, which allowed us some room to put the crib in, spread out a bit, and let the baby sleep while we finished up some things for ourselves. We brought a sound machine, which helped as well. The bathroom was large with a large walk in shower. The bed was very comfy! I found it to be quiet, though the noise machine helped too. We didn't use any amenities except breakfast. It was very good. My husband enjoyed the waffles, eggs and biscuits with gravy. I was really happy to find fresh bagels and yogurt. The only thing I would change is more easily accessible outlets by the bed and a slightly cheaper rate. However, I would stay again if traveling to Redmond! read more

Sleep....is something I needed the night I arrived at Sleep Inn & Suites in Redmond, OR and boy did I get it. This hotel was really nice and I enjoyed my stay. First though, let's talk about beds. This bed...OMG...this bed! It was amazing..it was like sleeping in a cloud while angels flew above and played their harps. I think it was some sort of memory foam mattress and as soon as I hit the bed I was out like a light. The rest of the room was very nice, but I spent most of my time, as indicated by the name of the hotel, sleeping and didn't have much time for anything else. First the good things. Very clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was wonderful . . . extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I booked a first floor handicap accessible room with a walk in shower. What I was put in was a 3rd floor room with a tub--still it had grab bars and was large enough to maneuver a wheelchair in. It was very difficult to enter and leave the room as the doors do not stay open on their own. The worst problem I had however was the fact, they do not have a plan to evacuate a wheelchair bound person in case of emergency if the elevators locked down. Even on 3rd floor, it was designated a handicap accessible room and I feel they should have a plan in place to aid those who cannot use the stairs in an emergency. It would have been a 5-star review except for the safety issues regarding guests in a wheelchairs. read more

What can I say worst hotel experience ever and I've been in some bad hotels. Service was poor and inexcusable. I had a two-night reservation and when I return to my hotel after the first day they had checked me out and clean I only had a one night reservation. I showed the clerk I had a two-night reservation and he said there was nothing he could do for me because they were booked full they had given my room away. There was no offer to find me another room at another hotel owned by the company or to find me a room at another hotel. There wasn't even an offer of a comp night for a different time. They will NOT accept it, nor do they have knowledge of how to use it, even though it clearly states "show manager or employee to receive discount". Extremely frustrating!! Second, the room smelled like a sweaty gym! I still have no idea what or where to odor is coming from. It is the carpet shampoo? Heater? Lingering body odor from past folks? Who know, but it's not good. I should have gone to ask for another room, but after the struggle with the coupon, it wasn't worth the hassle. So happy with this choice after a horrible night last night at the Entrada Inn in Bend. This was the perfect place after a full day of hiking and sightseeing. My family of five stopped at this hotel for one night while traveling all over the Pacific Northwest. I've realized that there aren't very many luxury hotels in Oregon, and prices are always at a premium. Finding deals, my most favorite hobby, is next to impossible. Therefore, I was pleased when I noticed that Sleep Inn not only had decent reviews, but a deal on Yelp! We checked it out first, and decided to go for it! Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. I did, however, find an opened bag of peanuts in one of the drawers. It took me about 15 minutes to decide that I would just forget about the oversight, and assume that the rest of the room had been thoroughly cleaned. Beds were standard for a hotel of this caliber. Mattresses seemed a bit old, but pillows were comfy. Bedding was warm and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well, and the room included a refrigerator and microwave, which also worked well. Toiletries were just fine, but oddly smelled like my grandma. I opted not to use them. The complimentary breakfast buffet was great! Everything was good quality, and there was a large selection: muffins, assorted pastries, bagels, cereals, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and juice, coffee, and tea. We also used the exercise and pool facilities, which we found satisfactory, though the pool smelled very strong of chlorine. I guess that's a good thing! Would we stay here again? If we find ourselves in Redmond, Oregon again, absolutely. It served the intended purpose, and we were all well rested to get back on the road the following day. read more
