Location: right by the beach!!! Parking: not sure, as we got dropped off Staff: it's a hit and missed. Some were nice, others were just rude. Wait time: depends on season. For us was average @30 mins to check in. Price: average Drink: good Food: good, we only had breakfast here and it was buffet style. Everything was good including service. They have omelette, chilaquiles, bread, fruit and more. Overall it was a great location and stay. I personally did not get bothered by the outdoor music. We enjoyed the vibe and views.

    My cooler for my drinks

The room it's clean people that work here are very nice. I made a reservation from a Thursday to a Monday arrive earlier and payed 300 pesos which is not bad for early check in. It would it be nice if the rooms had a small fridge had to buy a cooler to keep fresh the drinks. The beds are very small I've been in many hotel and it's always a queen size bed not a full size the restroom it's very small and the shower door did not closed was damage the hinge. The worst part they had some construction on the building and they were hammering all morning every day. The day of check out I asked if I could check out after time no problem if I had to pay some extra and they denied it. And literally kicked me out my flight was till night. The person in the office just told me, go to the streets and spend some money. Lol. Wow. One more thing. I made my reservation with all inclusive only ate one day at buffet and dinner with reservations food it's not all that. And for beer it's some cheap beer you can only have like Pacifico beer on the restaurants with reservations. The rest of areas like pools and beach the only serve the other cheap beer so basically I had to buy my own beer and had to go eat somewhere else. So if you think all inclusive will save you something think twice. Just get only rooms and save some money.

We booked a 6 day stay here and had the best time. Although the weather was unbelievably hot and they were doing construction in the front, staff made sure to help out anyway they could. Our bags were picked up and dropped off near the taxis so we didn't really have to drag them through the construction site. Staff was friendly and attentive for the most part. The shows were entertaining, the pools were not overly crowded. The vendors at the beach were very accommodating when we used their services and left us alone when we said no to items being sold. Our family had a really great time here.

We stayed here for 4 days while on vacation. The rooms need some Tlc. I would say this hotel is more Of a party hotel. Although it's very kid friendly with their Kids Center and multiple kiddie pools and slides. At night you can hear alot of people at the bar and it seems like the noise never stops. The beds aren't very comfortable. We did enjoy the beach front property and the warmed up pools for kids.

NOPE. Sorry Ramada, had hopes for ya. I want to give this place more stars because it had so much…read morepotential, but after three nights here i couldn't wait to leave. It sucks because we LOVED the Inn at Mazatlan (the first hotel) and after having that amazing experience to compare to, we decided we don't want to come back here and won't recommend it to our friends. So the room was TINY. Crazy tiny. We paid $114 for an 850sq ft room a night at the Inn at Mazatlan and $95 a night here for probably a 300sq ft room. The front desk said a room on the first floor was better because it's easy access to the pool, but... yeah... That ended up being the main problem. I wish we stayed in a higher up room. Another weird thing is our room key stopped working three times. After our long trek back to our room, we'd be disappointed that the keys didn't work. Can we talk about how humid the rooms are, too?! Nothing dried and everything smelled when we came in because we couldn't leave a single window open because - AGAIN - we were on the first floor. The bathroom shower curtain didn't dry at all. The bed was big and comfy, but it felt itchy like they needed to wash it. We had to request they change our sheets... yeah it was that bad. the pillows also smelled like mold or a wet rag that HASNT DRIED. The hotel was also super weirdly designed. It was a trek to get to our room. One night I walked all over the third floor looking for the ice machine and finally after 20mins I found it and it was broken. That also reminds me- the room does not have a fridge, but on the plus side- it does have an iron and a safe. The beach is really nice and calm on this side of town. We liked the beach a lot, actually. the pool area was beautiful with lots of seating, too. K, the RESTAURANT--- really bad slow ass service. The waiters are all sleeping and probably all in high school so they just don't give a shit. They also messed up our room service order really bad and made two wrong dishes... we were too exhausted to care and left it. The drinks are good and the morning breakfast buffet seems to be a hit. It's cheaper for alcohol than it is for pineapple juice tho... They also don't speak English so be prepared for that. PIGEONS ON EVERY TABLE. They need to hire one of those dudes who holds a falcon and releases it time to time or something to take care of those gross ass pigeons eating off the tables like rats. That really grossed me out. The pool is full of kids screaming and playing. That's cool tho, it's a fam place. But AGAIN, OUR ROOM FACED THE POOL SOO... You feel me. We didn't end up going to joe's oyster bar, but at 3am I can hear the bass bumpin. Apparently it's the "hottest" nightclub in Mazatlan and it's attached to the ramada. I got a service at the spa...it was really difficult because I couldn't communicate well with the masseuse bc she only spoke Spanish and my Spanish isn't super fluent. Also, she did a pretty bad job for what I was hoping for. They had free wifi, I didn't use it bc I have international service, but I heard it was ok, so that's a plus. There aren't many cute walking places either, so you'll def need a taxi.

Most disgusting hotel ever!!! If I could give it negative stars I would. Within the first 10…read moreminutes I noticed built up dust in every corner of the room, mold (shower floor, all in the soap dish area, and in the shower heads), blood on the shower curtain, chipped paint everywhere, dirty walls, 1 towel for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids), weird bug on the bed near the pillows, moths in the room, both showers in the room have about 5 inches of water just sitting in there, and broken bedroom door knob. I've seen cleaner port-a-pottys (seriously). Do yourself a favor and just sleep in your car or pick a random bench. I wouldn't even bring my dogs here. Took photos of it all.

Av. Plaza Gaviotas 100, 82110 Mazatlán, Sinaloa…read more The Hotel is now called Gaviana Resort!!! The "Banda" music from the beach can be heard inside our room on the third floor and actually - throughout the entire hotel - there is no escape. It's 1:30 AM, they are still raging- AMPLIFIED- & I've walked every floor to see if I could get a reprieve and no place is protected. The noise permeates every nook of this place. They are allowed to play on the PUBLIC beach just outside the hotel or any public area, all day and night WITH AMPLIFIERS- as long as people keep paying them to do so, according to the front desk. I tried to complain... AT first glance, this seemed optimal because the bar is also right there by the pool and the beach but the problem is these is no control over the noise level or duration BECAUSE it's not actually coming FROM the hotel. IF you want a relaxing time - this is not the place for you! Your $ would be better spent on a more up to date place away from public beaches or areas where you may be able to carry on a conversation without yelling & you can enjoy your meal, the view or maybe even some sleep. IT only costs 10$ for 4 ppl to catch a "pulmonía" or 11 pesos for the bus that will take you to el centro, if that's what you want but at least you will have the option to get away from the noise. My first night of 4 and I'm sleeping in the front room on the sofa w/ noise cancelling headphones on & I can still hear the noise. It's nothing to do with the type of music, it's the fact there is no escaping it. Service was great from Olga and Louis at the bar. You get a coupon for one free drink pp when you check in and it's pretty centrally located. Rooms were dated but clean and thank goodness for a separate front "room" with a door that closes so you can lock out some of the racket. We are in room 310 right next to the elevator & there are two bathrooms, one w a tub & one w a shower and a small fridge, & microwave, a tv in both rooms, a sofa in the front room & a queen size bed in the bedroom. WiFi is free - which is why I can stay up writing this review. But honestly, in this case, spend the $ and move farther away.

No volvería. Hay mejores hoteles económicos en la misma ubicación. ----English---- Stayed here 2 night's and rented two rooms for ourselves and another couple the pictures looked a lot nicer than in reality. The worst was how gross and dirty these rooms are. This hotel is definitely catered to the party people that visit. The room is super basic and they don't provide the basics like an Ice machine yet they put an ice bucket in the room ‍ probably for the photos lol. Smashed dead bugs on the wall-S, stained bed linens, ripped and faded towels, and no extras. The water comes out merky and grey. The first night we booked on Hotels.com for $60 which is why I booked thinking it was a "deal". But you get what you pay for. We arrived at 1 AM first night and wanted to sleep in some so we booked The second night to sleep in some. But we were pretty disappointed and couldn't get a refund so we just roughed it out. But, they wanted to Charge us $150 for the 2nd night! More than double because it was Friday. I told reception that the room wasn't worth that so she dropped it down to $100. They charge almost $10 (200 Pesos) for losing your key card. And so they make you check out of the lobby. Just seems like they're trying to take advantage of forgetful guest, and nickel and dime you at every chance. Everywhere things were subpar for even the basics, even the pool towels were torn and faded. The soap in our room was still on the sink from the previous guest and had a red hair the staff was okay and customer service minimal. I didn't want people coming into our room while we were out. so, I put the "do not disturb" placard on the door yet when I came back from the beach someone had entered our room and made her bed. (which normally would be nice), except for not respecting my "do not disturb" wishes. I wouldn't come back. Theirs better hotels for cheap in the same location.

We got a great deal. You can find a good room for about 66.00 USD (1000 MXN) here or get better…read moreprices online. The rooms are convenient for families or and pretty cheap to split with a friend. The rooms are well cleaned every day, the is laundry and room service if one needs it. The staff are cordial and responsive. The lodging is safe and clean. One is in equidistant to and walking distance to (depending on whether one likes to exercise) to both the historic Plaza Merchado and Zona Dorado. Cabs are easily available. There are varied restaurants that meet quite a few needs in the area. Even vegetarians and vegans are in no danger of starving. If you're brave, there is direct access to swim in the ocean, and the pool is extraordinary. I heartily recommend this place to anyone with a moderate budget who wants a convenient location to access the rest of the city.
