Wondering why they call it 43. This cute boutique hotel is pretty much in the heart of downtown. Easy to get to places. Plenty of restaurant and bars. I heard the bar in the hotel is actually a classy club too. The lobby is super nice. Layout is very balanced. Couches and tables and cool pendulum chandeliers. Elevators are right there by the lobby as well, so you dont have to go through a maze to look for it. The rooms are pretty good. The one I got wasnt the biggest, bit it was enough. Its complete with lights, night stands even a sit down chair is you're feeling like doing some reading. A TV on top of a dresser. Cool feature on the window is that you're able to open a vent so you can let some fresh boise air in. I love the stuffed bear toy on the bed. Gives it a really cute touch. If you wanna take it home, it's around $35. My stay here was definitely enjoyable. I would come back and stay here again. Thank you much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Small lobby, awkward valet/pickup drop off area... not the impressed with the room myself... but my out of town guest loved his large windows & second story views. Convenient Boise location... would be good for JUMP events...

    mediocre.

disappointed in this hotel. came for a "stay-cation" with my hubby and when I booked this place I thought we were picking something special. it is a boutique hotel above the nicest restaurant in town (chandlers) so obviously it's going to be nice, right? um no. it's small, and you can tell it used to be yuck before they slapped some new paint on it and called it luxury. the staff were not friendly when we arrived (accept for the bell hop, he was friendly.) and they barely even looked up when we checked in. let me just say, if they try to give you room 208, 209, or 210- do not accept. we arrived in our TINY room (this is a king room?) to the lovely view of the AC units which are covered in weird paint and moss. i'm sure the hotel was not completely booked up (this is covid times) so these rooms should be a last resort situation for putting guests in when they are full. we booked this room A MONTH AGO. i'm not looking for the best room, but this was just weird to me. overall, our stay was disappointing. we should have just booked the grove. I think if you're traveling for work from the airport and want a centrally located place downtown with a good restaurant downstairs, this is the place for you. don't come here for romance.

Booked a room for one night, paid almost $500 for no bathtub or balcony, underwhelming decor, no swimming pool, not even a complimentary breakfast. We were denied a refund or upgrade. Should've come with free dinner from Chandler's for such a high price- take your business elsewhere, folks!

This is how the cleaning staff leave you towels.

As you walk into the lobby, you're immediately hit with a pleasant aroma/signature scent. Not to mention, the decor and atmosphere is top notch. The front desk staff made checking-in easy. There was a slight delay with room inspection before we could head up to our room (but truly, not a huge issue). We were able to leave our luggage behind the front desk & enjoyed a nice drink at the bar downstairs. Once we got to our room, I was even more impressed. The bathroom alone is worth another visit. The shower is massive and I loved the spa-like feel overall. Beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the cozy lighting. I could go on and on- just book the trip! I will be waiting until we can come back and stay here next time. Great experience!

The room was way more swanky than anything we ever stay in, but even my husband commented on how nice it was, and he isn't usually impressed with hotels. You could sleep in the shower with how much space there was. The ambiance definitely matched all the things I had heard about it - very industrial meets modern in a thoughtful way. And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Recommend for a staycation night (what we did) or a splurge-y stay with friends!

I was in town to assist our new Community Ambassador at her debut Yelp Elite Event, and wanted to get a feel for the city. The Inn at 500 was the perfect choice, as it's right downtown and in the heart of the action - not to mention, walking distance to some great little shops, coffee shops, and even Trader Joe's. I arrived via Uber and was immediately impressed by their bright, colorful lobby. This hotel is known for amazing light fixtures and lots of whimsical art - and they didn't disappoint. Everywhere I looked, there was something beautiful to see. I was warmly greeted at the front desk, including a complimentary beer (or wine) as I checked in! There are also unlimited snacks, bottled water, and a few other refreshments available during your entire stay. I may or may not have grabbed a bag of Frito's and a granola bar to take to my room for late night snacking. My room was fresh and clean, with an eclectic Shakespearean-style nook above the king bed. The entire space was lovely, including a nice work area and plenty of places to plug in and charge up. There was even a fireplace, although the weather was too warm to actually use it. Before heading out to our event at a local brewery, I even got to enjoy a terrific happy hour in their on-site restaurant, Hemlock. And in the morning, I ordered a delish room service breakfast before catching my flight back to Seattle. This was a great experience and I can't wait to go back during my next trip to Boise!

Free breakfast but offerings limited to yogurt or eggs. Very noisy A/C unit. Issue we had was we had picked up some favorite vegan food from a local restaurant to enjoy on the patio since we've really enjoyed the communal patios at other updated motels. We check-in and are invited to the happy hour. Awesome! We hope to order a beer and enjoy our food when a woman comes over and says that the health department will not allow us to eat our own food on our own plates and cutlery on the patio and that they would be shut down if they allowed it. When we ask where we could eat, she directs us to the street or our room. Our room only had a single chair and a thin rail, no proper dining setup. The patio was empty save for 2 tables but they couldn't stand to share the patio with hotel guests. The place was otherwise nice but the treatment soured our experience. I strongly suspect the health department would take no issue with our enjoyment of the patio.

To top it off, the lady working the front desk late Thursday night was super super nice. Great first impression of Boise based on that alone!

I stayed in a one King, one bedroom room and it was perfect!! I had an extended stay, something not all hotels offer. Every single person on staff, was so nice. Yes, I'm pretty sure I met all of them including the amazing house cleaning staff. Speaking of house cleaning, I was blessed with the nicest, funniest house cleaner, Andy!! Not only did we joke, laugh, he also listened when I had a bad day. My room looked like I had just checked in after he cleaned it!! Henry, who is directly under assistant manager, is easy to work with, incredibly nice, always did his best to make sure that I was able to stay in the same room! (I didn't know how long I was going to stay. Sometimes I booked a week at a time, sometimes one day at a time) he enjoys getting to know his guest, he always loved checking up on me and we had some great conversation! I am positive you will love him. Sydney who works the front desk is so super sweet, we quickly became friends (friends in the Hotel sense) I got special hugs from her, along with Maddy!! (I am a hugger, I respect those who aren't, yet love getting them from those who are ) Maddie who I met when I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a little less than two weeks, surprised me when I opened upmy door at the Home2suites with starburst in her hands! she knew what I was going through and couldn't have gluten! Talk about getting to know your guest! The atmosphere there is like being welcomed into a family, which giving my circumstances, made my stay so much better!! Hannah and Morgan, who also worked the front desk, left a card for me at my door with a Hershey's chocolate bar yummm bar!! They wrote the sweetest words of encouragement, expressing the care about me, and letting me know they were only a phone call away! I realize this is a long review, but I can't end it without mentioning the kindness I received from the nighttime Auditor's! Marco was the very first person I met and because I arrived so late he still let me check in, treated me with such kindness. Kimberly!! You have to meet Kimberly if you're here for more than a couple days. If she is a person with a wealth of information and always willing to spend the time answering questions, I never even thought of. One night, I talked with her for two hours!! Okay, if I haven't convinced you how nice this hotel is yet let me add a few more things.I never heard the noise of the city life, and there is always something going on something fun, entertaining, etc. The whole hotel is so clean, It looks as if it has been remodeled!! The parking!! Yes, it does cost $20, yet it is worth every penny. The convenience of Parking right out the door of the sixth floor without to call and ask for your car or wait on it. I could leave things in my car, if I needed something, I'd Simply walk out the door that leads to the parking lot, grab what I needed walk right back in and into my room all in a matter of minutes!! The amenities!! I can't leave that out!! Full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker with coffee, bean coffee, was what I enjoyed every single morning. Plenty of counter space! Plus, another long counter space all the way to the wall!! That's not counting the work area! You will not lack for space that's for sure! burner for your request with pans to cook withall the way to the wall!! Free breakfast! To say it's a continental Is an understatement. I've seen Continental breakfasts' I usually pass on them.but this one had waffles, bagels, yes, even gluten-free ones, a build your own sandwich bar, sausage, bacon, you name it. So when you hear, Continental, I just spoiled your surprise. Stop scrolling, stop looking and do yourself a favor, book a room at the Home2Suites in downtown Boise!! You will not regret it!

When I was transferred to the manager, she demanded that I respect her and I needed to divulge private medical information before we were finally given a refund. I am not innocent in this, I will admit, but I do NOT regret acting the way I did. This was a single snippet of a shift for you, for me? It was the absolute worst day of my life. I went from having a completely normal happy two year old that was being babysat by my mother while my husband and I moved across the country, to listening to him struggling to even get a breath in and somehow having a congenital heart defect whilst we're now rushing as fast as we can to Seattle to fly BACK to the east coast and pray that my son stays alive within that timeframe. Of course a mother is going to be hysterical when there is a situation like that. AND, my husband, who booked the room, specified we needed to cancel due to a MEDICAL EMERGENCY. That was the very first sentence he said on that phone call. My recommendation- have more compassion and verify the severity of the situation with your receptionist before demanding respect from someone who trusted your business enough to spend over $300 on a room that we would be spending less than 12 hours in.
